I've gotten a ton of these off ebay, for cheap. usually less than $10 a piece. I've got about 20-30 I think. Waiting for a rainy day to start working on them

I'm sticking with my request for one! I can't wait! I'm doing it as much to have a variety, and to reward the people that went through to organize this, and then to do the work of recasting it.

I've ordered from them before with no problems. I ordered some of the alpha-beta resins, and all the alphas came with thin/broken wings. took pictures, and sent them an email, and they mailed out new casts asap no problems, no cost.

Personally U dont' care what other ppl think. It's somethign that I love and something I can afford. I'm a bit nervous when I start dating someone, and show them my collection (4 display cases full...), and I figure that if they can't handle it, then they aren't going to be around for a long time. Under no circumstances would I "hide" my collection for any reason. I'm not ashamed of it, and it makes me too happy every day to walk by it and look in. My girlfriend (and ex's) weren't into anime, but neither did they chastise me for my collection. They understood that it was important to me, and that was enough. Now, if I only I could get my current girlfriend to watch anime, and play Halo with me, I'd be in heaven Peace!

Hey melissa, in case I haven't posted yet, put me down for a kit (maybe 2, we'll see) As for a way of thanking the original owner, what about some kind of hand written thank you, with signatures from everyone who bought one? It might take a while to ship it from person to person, but it'd be really cool, and a very personal item. Just a thought. Brad

Hey Melissa, great idea, here's another thought that might help get the casting going. I know there are several casters out there (myself included). I don't have time for something of this scale, but maybe we could take different pieces and cast them individually? For example, 1 person casts the main body, another person casts all the barrels, etc. Obviously the problem there would be re-assembling all the pieces to form complete kits. Just a thought, as I would love to help with the project, but dont' have enough time to do *all* the casting. Brad

Wasnt' meant to be a con, was just bored one day, and those eva's are so heavy and poseable, I couldn't resist it I've got all 4 of the eva's released so far, and I love those things, they are so heavy

KNowing yamato, and how they like to milk all color posibilities, we'll see them in ANY color that showed in ANY macross episode, as well as ANY color scheme they think is cool (I.E. Low-Viz 1/48) My estimation? 4-5 different color versions.

Since it's been 18 months, and I'm still out $165, I thought I see if anyone has heard from him? I haven't heard a thing in months now, and was hoping maybe someone had been in contact with him Man, with the money I gave him, I could almost get a 1/48 VF-1J super... Oh well

Welcome to the boards! I for one love it, because of the variety. It's different! Like the VT-1, and the GBP (ooh) Variety is the spice of life baby!
