    Looks like everything's up to SDCC. If Tommy & Company have something really substantive set up, it might be enough to get it funded. But I REALLY hope someone asks them how exactly the money is being distributed because I refuse to believe that a 22-minute episode needs $500,000.

    It's not vaporware, they're just taking their own time. I would suspect they might announce something in October. Might not even be 'till early next year. We'll have to see.

    Although I will say this, Sentinels' wedding scene was pretty interesting to watch since I think all we got from the Macross end of that was some Mikimoto art.

    I was unsure about your post. So... No. No they didn't. The Macross's automatic systems fired the first shot. I'll grant you that it seems a bit suspect that they never found this program in the computer after an entire decade but I suppose it could happen. Point being that the did not deliberately start that war. As for the rest of your post tl;dr all sounds like fanfiction. So yeah, serious or joking. Which is it?

    It's probably because they've been banning so many people from their Facebook page and RT.com One of my friends on Facebook asked them two simple questions: 1. How is the $500,000 going to be broken down exactly? 2. Are you sure it'll come out in mid-2015, considering your track record? And about five minutes later he'd been banned. This is how HG works folks. If you're not one of the naive fanboys with inch-thick, rose-tinted nostalgia glasses, YOU ARE NOT WORTHY according to them. BTW, has Doug Bendo made five podcasts about this yet?

    Yeah, I kinda wished that at least the VF-4 and VF-5000 were in there as they were actually featured in animation. Alas, I doubt we're going to be getting anymore Macross PS3 games or PS4. The future of gaming in Japan seems to be handheld and mobile.

    What reason is there to not be negative? Harmony Gold isn't good for Macross, it isn't good for Robotech, it isn't good for anything. I appreciate the sentiment, but this is basically MW's off-topic section so RT can be discussed here. If there are trolls, I'm sure the mods have suitably large banhammers.
