    I am really glad to hear that alot of you are going to see this in japan. You can tell us how it ends. Trust me I don't mind. The one year wait is to much for me.

    So now that this game is out. We are sure that it has all of the levels the Universal Frontier had right? Whith that new dating simulation mode being in japanese, how hard is it for an english speaker to just skip on through that part.

    Ah well you have a point there. I am new to the Macross world and I missed it as it was airing. But I am a long time gundam fan and I have seen plenty of that during the Gundam 00 airing days.

    That would be funny. But i don't think that predicting the outcome of the triangle is trolling if it is all done in good fun, and the one posting is not bashing the show and or other posters. Predicting the outcome is part of the magic of waiting for the next release and why they leave things on cliff hangers.

    I thought it was sheryl too especially seeing the picture above with her in the pink. But now that you mention it you can t tell. This is a good promotion for the movie. It sparks the interest if this movie will resolve the love triangle. Which we all know they will not. Come on its Macross. None of the writers have the guts to do that espicialy with all the ranka vs sheryl fan boys out there in japan.

    But at least for this second movie if you can't wait and see if they resolve some loose ends you could find out. I did not go through the wait for the first macross but the recent wait for the Gundam 00 movie was horrible. The japanese public got to see it in feb or something while over here we had to wait until december.

    I was not around when the first Macross movie aired. Did we have to wait in the states until it came out on dvd in japan before we got the fan subs, or where there any camcorded, like what people do in the states, during the theatrical release?

    Do they make a demo of this you can download from the jap or honk kong psn. I looked for a while but could not find anything about it.

    I have not gotten a macross psp game before. Should i start out with Ultimate Frontier or will this Triangle Frontier have everything that one has and more? I know that is how the Gundam Battle series works for the psp, they just make the same game but with more stuff everytime.

    Sheryl to me was kind of like Misa in a way that she scoulded Hikaru at first and then eventually grew to like him. I see were she is very different then Misa in so many ways, but this series seems to have some simularities to the original then changes it up last second like Pineaple Salad and Miss Macross competition when you thought it was going to be like the original show then it was'nt. And looking at the two in the triangle, Ranka is definintly the "Minmay type" of character. So in conjunction with the original series and the ongoing pattern of changing things up I felt that he would end with Ranka at the end of the series or maybe the end of the Movie. Wasn't there even a quote from the series where Alto said he would have to Kill Ranka becouse he loved her. I don't recall him ever saying he loved Sheryl. I honestly don't know though just a thought. What do you think?

    A little too much sibling love with ranka in this comic. I thought that with this series being a "made you look" to the SDF macross series, instead of the lead ending up with the "misa type" character (Sheryl) they would flip it up with the shy cute popstar, a "minmai character" if you would (Ranka).

    Very Nice. I hope they get something like this going in the second movie since they have not wacked michael off yet.

    If Michael would be a cyborg rival to alto, so he would basically be his enemy like brera. Then were does that put Klan Klan?

    So is it safe to say that the murdock from macross 2 is the supervision army referenced in the original series.

    But we are all hoping that they will change the ending in a way to finaly tie up the love triangles and give a better epilogue for the rest of the characters. And I hope they keep michael alive.

    So with this new trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GugClf1Em1M it looks like they are going to keep michael alive and still keep his relationship with klan klan. I wonder what is up with the bells and wedding dress scene. The real question is are they going to tie up loose ends with this one or are they going to make a new season? What do you think?

    Who are the supervision army and why do we never see them in a Macross series?

    It does have a lot of gray areas. Just look at how DYRL changed even the Look of the suits and aliens, and in later series they referenced both. And in mc 7 they kept the alien look of the brain guys DYRL look.

    Tuff choice I really like Hikaru and Max. Never liked isamu, he just wasn't that like able and had no real motive. I think I would have to say Michael from frontier. He was so smooth and yet he never took advantage of anyone and he had mad skills. Just an overall nice guy to boot.

    I am really interested to find out if they will resolve the alto sheryl ranka triangle with this secound movie. Frontier was one of my favorite series, and that would make it all the more better. I don't care which one alto goes with just as long as he does. But I doubt they will resolve anything in this new movie, just like macross 7 never resolved anything when it comes to that.

    Well i just finished the macross frontier first movie. I watched it with someone that has not seen frontier and the movie did a great job expaining what was going on. I really did not like how they put more nudity and i don't know what was up with the vampire sheryl seen. This movie seemed to be much more dirty than the series which really disapointed me. The animation quality was out of this world great. I kind of liked the story changes they did. Really wondering what are they going to do with Michal surviving and sheryl knowing rankas song and knowing about rankas past. Not sure if i am going to keep my first movie but i will be looking forward to the next movie with great anticipation of what changes they will make in the ending. but that will probably not be answered until 2012 when it comes on dvd.
