How do you think that would affect the population? Heck can their fold comms even work in intergalactic space? Also (aside from Steelfalcon's site) is there any other reference to how fast Fold is (his site says 1LY/6min.)?

What about going outside our Galaxy? How long do you think it'd take a fleet to reach the Andromeda Galaxy and what would happen to the people?
