    The SDF-1 being reactivated briefly makes me think of Macross II: Lover's Again but that is not part of Robotech...but it's the only thing I can think of as the Macross is activated briefly at the end to take a shot at the Marduk mother ship.

    That sounds incredibly complicated yet intriguing as well. What series should I start watching first?

    Then is it worth investing in the Leijiverse and Yamato or will I end up more confused and frustrated? Also were most of the releases made available here in the US?

    I am in Central Florida myself. I have met Fuzzy at Megacon where he has held a Robotech panel in the past.

    Lately I have been very interested in the work of /inspired by Leiji Matusmoto. One of the problems I am running into is figuring out which shows are set in the same universe, which version of certain characters are "cannon" version. Also what is the relation to Space battleship Yamato? I am interested in getting into that as well but it seems to be affiliated but not with the Leijiverse. Lots of conflicting information out there it seems. May someone please point me in the right direction?

    If the animation quality can match Gundam 00 then this will be the best anime news I have heard in a long time IMO.

    With Gundam being my favorite series of all time (the franchise as whole) I am on board for this. I would a slightly more mature "remake" of the original series. One thing I would love to see are the characters that, while not in the original show, appear in that time period such as Gato from 0083 Stardust memory and his appearance in the Battle of Solomon even if only a cameo just as a nod to fans. this is great news as Gundam AGE is not appealing to me. Just wish more Gundam came here in the U.S. I don't like subs...

    Bri, I couldn't agree with you more. I think one thing that plagues aviation is the length of the development cycle though. When it comes to planes, concept to production (if it ever gets there) is such a long process. I understand safety 100% but it just seems like upgrading older models is more common than new design.

    Wasn't expecting this tid bit of news but it is welcome news if nothing else. If he is working on other projects for Wb, I imagine he will land this after the talks. WB seems that once they get someone, they use them as much as possible. Maybe a comfort or leverage thing.     That Non-Brainstorm and Non-Weirdwolf look goos so far. I would love to see Cloudburst (Non pretender shell!) done. That, IMO, would rock. Breakdown looks bad ass as well.

    I may be in the minority but I kinda like the F-35. If I understand correctly, it and it's variant will replace the F-16 and F-18 while the F-22 replaces the F-15 as an air superiority fighter. I wonder if the F-35 will also fill roles assumed by planes like the A-10 or if something later down the line wil be developed for that role instead.

    A lot of people talk about the Dreamliner but I wish they would bring back a Concorde style supersonic airliner. I know that Lockheed-Martin had the QSST for a while but I think that has been quietly swept under the rug. As it is, I feel like the aviation industry has stagnated to be honest. No more H.Hughes type pushing the envelope. Aside from general upgrades, it doesn't seem like the "magic of flight" grabs people anymore. I'll never forget the old Yogi Bear and the Sproose Goose Cartoon as a kid, made you think aviation was going to be this amazing thing then you look now and see all these companies going bankrupt every few years. Too many providers IMO.

    I hope they do some of the IDW designs sometime soon. Either the Stormbringer designs by Don Fig, or the Designs by Alex Milne.

    Ever since I was a child the Vette has been my favorite car. While I may be in the minority...I absolutely love the new design minus the rear lights.

    While I understand the reason, the length of time between releases is killing me. That accompanied by the fact that it seems this series can only be purchased online (no Florida retailers seem to carry) at exuberant prices for the Blu rays is kinda frustrating. That being said I love the design of the Delta Plus.

    With RT:LLA having a subbed copy of M:LLA, does anyone know the source? Did Tatsunoko ever release a remastered version or is HG just using the old film stock as is?

    Did anyone else here (stateside at least) collect those fact files you put in a binder that came in the mail? They had animal ones but also ones for planes. I used to collect them as a kid and watch Wings on discovery channel (not the old school sitcom) religiously. Those two things alongside Robotech/Macross made me fall in love with aviation as a kid. man memories....

    Good, although I will admit the Blu Ray prices here stateside aree pretty insane for what we get.

    Will the Blu Rays continue to be released here in the U.S.? After the 4th, Bandai Ent disbanded so I am hoping I can complete the set in Blu Ray format.
