    It could be someone else's, but i can't picture anyone else piloting it. Unless they introduced a new pilot, or Rei, or Kaworu, or Shinji..., not sure about the last two though.

    Yes, i have read about it in a thread somewhere, i was more curious about the fleet background story, description about 1/4 of residential area damaged caused by gravity wave of giant star or something.

    Macross fleet which suffer from economic recession, interesting. Is this macross 29 the same as macross 29 from macross30.com? The website is in japanese and the google translation is kind of weird.

    Don't know which one is red bull, but i often watch air slalom on sport channel where sometimes the aircraft wing tip cut through the cone a little bit when the pilot fly too close. Great sport.

    Don't mind waiting for years for each series, i think the creators can pull off 2 or 3 more major release from this franchise before they get too old. Been wondering for some time if someday Kota Hoshino would become the next composer for macross, with cyber punk theme as the setting for the story. Can't stop imagining great concert of funky music, giant hologram of the idol while dancing, and lasers show shooting out from the colony ship in deep space. Just a wild fantasy of mine.

    I find it interesting how the YF-21 managed to ram itself at the X-9, even though during that split second, Guld has gone, and the aircraft also has passed its maximum structural limit. But when the YF-21 starts going down a little bit, suddenly it goes up and rammed the X-9. It seems as if it look like the YF-21 is able to perform beyond its maximum capabilities, and execute the command without the pilot, even if only for a second, in order to fulfill its master wish. But it could probably just a matter of movie sequence. Guld might still be alive when he rammed the enemy.

    According to dengeki website, the engine is the same as YF-25, as well as the power output. Still wondering how Aoba can survive riding this thing. Perhaps that much power can only be used in certain condition? like a straight line, or one time only, and then boom. Wild guessing.

    So, is it right to assume that this transcending protoculture doesn't really happen in the end, and humans still only following the remnants of protoculture relics along the way? What about fold quartz instantanious travel and communication? Did the protoculture have this technology?

    Just saw the Kai, and it looks really nice with Aoba paint job. It'll be a waste if it end up disintegrate in the middle of the race.

    Might be an adrenaline junkie as well, beside passion for extreme modification. And here i thought nothing could get any crazier than his VF-1X++, VF-0 with VF-25 engine is just insane. Does that mean he is using ISC?
