Glad the runs went well, I was surprised to see you seemed unsure of how the kits would sell. Seriously, I gotta believe those masters are worth their weight in Gold.

Kits in hand this morning, thanks again Cap for another smooth transaction, it's always a pleasure!

Yeah you can find great deals on used ones, for the price though, I was willing to go a little higher to get it new with the full manufacturer's warranty. One RX-8 piece of advice I would share or anyone looking at them would be to avoid used 2004/2005 Automatics, The first year or two the 4 port Automatic, I have read had some serious issues. I love mine, the 6 speed manual is a blast to drive although it has taken some getting used to putting the car in 6th, which is where reverse is on my F-150, although (knock on wood) I think the odds of my mixing them up is pretty low, that truck feels like I'm driving a dump truck now.

The All Things Video Games Thread!
Ghadrack replied to Apollo Leader's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I am not sure how many people have had a chance to play it but Portal by Valve may be the single most exciting game I have ever played. Seriously, the basic portal game mechanic is the single neatest feature ever in video games in my opinion and the AI in the game had me laughing out loud repeatedly, short but I felt like it was a perfect game experience. Highly recommended  -
I was actually shopping many of the same car options myself about 6 months ago, I had narrowed it down to either the Civic, (economy and reliability), The Lancer (Just liked the style, felt like a good car) and the Mazda 3, I have two friend'swith Mazda 3 "sport-wagon" and they are fun little race-cars the handling is pretty incredible for a FWD sport wagon. Anyhow, I was thinking about expanding my price range and jumping into the Speed3 when I hit the Mazda dealership and saw that they had absolutely slached the prices of the RX-8's, they were $28,000 to $35,000 a couple years ago so I didn't even consider them an option they were marked down for year end blah blah whatever, $23,000 for the sport on the window, and $28,000 for the GT. I test drove mine and after a couple days of haggling and leaving ended up buying it for just under $22,000. So, basically, take a look around the lots when you go shopping, something that you thought was unattainable may jump out at you.

My vote for input and questions is. Thank them for us for all they have done so far. In the past I think that it had been mentioned that they might be considering an SDF-1 as a grand finale for the Macross line. Will they do it, and if they are giving it serious consideration, will they do it in T.V. or DYRL? style? Yamato had created a 1/60(?) Destroid Monster several years ago and showed it at a convention booth, has that concept/project been formally cancelled? Have they given serious consideration to Destroids and Enemy Mecha, such as the Regult Battle Pod?

Don't forget Everquest. Sony was the first to really master the online game experience, they had the largest, most stable online game for 5 years before anyone else figured out how to run a real networked online game. -

Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title
Ghadrack replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Sweet, then you can call him Weyland, and get the awesome Alien Tie-in and then we can get what everyone always wanted, the Alien Versus Predator Versus Terminator movie. Oooh and Lance Henrickson can be the only humanoid character in the movie, Lance Henrickson "Synthetic humans" Versus Lance Henrickson Terminators then they join up to fight against Aliens, and then some drunk Predators could crashland at a convenient battle ground. Hey wait a minute, where's my screenwriter's guild card...... -
Payment sent via IPMO, I am excited. Questions? Are you available, and will you marry my 60 year old mom? Maybe if you adopt me I can glean some of your skill by basking in the glow of your awesomeness. It probably cures cancer too. Silliness aside, thanks again for tackling another cool Macross project, I look forward to my Kits.

There is a dynasty warrior gundam downloadable demo isnt' there? I was over at my brother's and he was playing a gundam based hack and slash game that reminded me to Dynasty Warriors, that might help. I have to say that I am going to be disappointed if Lair turns out to be a glorified, buggy, tech Demo. -

That's embarassing, I actually own the Street Fighter Alpha collection for PS2 but I don't think I ever put it in my Playstation, there have been so many games released the past few years I have ended up collecting them like Macross models, dreaming of a day when I retire or become disabled and can play the backlog. -

Nice, I guess I might retire my PS1 copy if it has some neat extra features. I wish they would release the pocket fightergames for the PSN, I rarely feel motivated enought o drag out my Saturn to play that gem -

I won't go any further down that road as it's against the terms of use of the board to have philosophical religious debates, which I think are wholely worthless anyway, but it was invited by a troll type statement about the some vast conspiratorial anti-christian media bent. Vote with your wallet. I think that Seanbaby section of the mag is pure comedy gold, it's the only reason I stay subscribed. To each his own. -

Last month's issue. I thnk it has Bioshock on the cover. LOL, are you serious that your feelings got hurt because someone didn't want Stryper or Creed in Guitar hero? After a little thought, it was inappropriate for me to respond to the religion crap in teh thread, I put it in spoiler type below instead fo deleting it, nothing to hide but contributing to a flame war is in poor form. -

I have several friend's who still have never purchased a DVD player and use their PS2 as their primary home entertainment DVD player. The PS3, due to the costs of next gen players is going to be a lot of people's primary HiDef movie player, I know it will be mine. I bought a nice top of the line Panasonic AC3 DVD player the year they came out mine was about $600.00. My first Blu-Ray player being the PS3 was $599 so the same cost and it does about 6 million things. -
If I remember that pic above is the transformable VF-1 costume, that shot looks like mid battroid/gerwalk conversion. Those Superscale valks could have been something cool but they really didn't do them justice for the price.

Flash Gordon: Saviour of the Universe Edition
Ghadrack replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Get over it, the movie is campy fun. SO much venom for a silly movie I always liked this movie, it is silly and fun and has great music. I am glad it was re-released, I own the laserdisc and didn't buy the DVD first time around, now my LD player has been dead for a few years and the DVD was outopf print and selling for 100$ bucks on the secondary market. I snatched my copy on the day of re-release.- 35 replies
