Edit- out of the loop, I didn't realize Toynami was importing the Beagle Ride Armor. I thought it was a $220 Toynami orginal, and I threw up a little.

There is a new Mastodon record on the horizon. I am excited about it, AI haven't heard of much else coming out soon to look forward to. Anything else heavy coming out in the near future?

In my opinion, with the Sylar and Mohinder "powers are due to a defect or difference in the anatomy" explanation, Peter would have the guy whose body he is trapped in's powers, but not know how to use them because the hero's all seem to learn from use or something like muscle memory. If I had to guess, they specifically didn't say what his power is on purpose, Future Peter has somehow gained the power to transfer people out of their body and into another. That makes for a couple possibilities, it's a stretch, but possibly,, future Peter isn't really Peter but a villain who stole his body. It is poszsible that the guy whose Body Peter is now trapped in has the power to transfer bodies, maybe Future Peter came back and took his power and dumped Present Peter in his body. Who knows, they could literally make it be anything, Mighty Mouse's dyslexic pychic cousin could teleport in and steal his body. Ripev_Onex your English was very clear and easy to understand. I know what you mean about Heroes relying upon Time Travel, I think it is unfortunate though because it causes so many plot holes sometimes and leaves the show open to sloppy, short-cut endings that are unsatisfying. I genuinely believe they could improve the overall quality of the show if thye removed that element, or at least severely restrained it. The should kill off Peter, who is basically God when you consider that he can time travel and absorb the powers of any Hero that exists giving him infinite power to stop anything before it happens or intevene in any activity and even multiple activities happening in the same moment in time all over the planet, and then let Hiro have a Moral Crisis and banish Himself to a cave in the Hymalayas to ponder the universe and provide wisdom to the other Heroes when there is a dire crisis pending but refuse to intervene due to his chances to destroy the space time continuum. They could do the same with Peter, he realizes how badly he can screw up everything and removes himself from the game to ascend to some form of minor diety-hood, which might be a better idea because he has already sort of shifted from inherently good to a more neutral character wih his capacity for violence (If that is really Peter).

See my friends and I wrote off to Sylar being cute and toying with her, he had cornered the mouse and was playing with it. Now my serious question, and I'll stay away from time travel because it is just a deal breaker for me, they have to kill all the time travel characters immediately if they want the show to not seem retarded week in and week out, but back to my question.

I swear I got one of those. I must have hidden it from myself, if I recall the box was bigger than the destroids, I bet I put it with my 3/4 built 1/72 Monster, better find it when I get home.

I agree with you 100% How great would it be for them to bring out a new X-Wing conbat flight sim game with todays technology. It would probably ruin my life I loved the original games so much I might never be able to stop playing.

I got mine the day before yesterday, great kit as always. I just have a few pieces to clean up then I'll probably get him painted up. I still have the old standing trooper in primer so I can knock out both together. I was looking at the boxes and unless I am missing a kit, did you intentionally skip XIII it looks like they are numbered and skip from 12 to 14 unless I am forgetting one.

Playasia has it listed as a PS2 release on October 30, 2008. -
that really sucks, I know Rob has put quite a bit of effort into rebuilding his site over and over. Hackers are losers. John, if you are ready for payments feel free to shoot me a PM here and I'll get down to the post office and send a money order

I had a little trouble with Subtitles and Language tracks when I first started farting around with PSP Video 9, you have to go in an manually select the spoken language and Subtitle tracks to get them to encode properly on your PSP video file. If you haven't already i'd suggest playing with the different options by selecting a single short chapter from any movie you like and recording it with a foreign language track and US subtitles just to get the hang of it, if you use a short chapter it only takes a few minutes.

Jesus..... WTF man? Anyhow, on topic. Unless there is a formalized divorce agreement by law she can't hold possession of your stuff if you bought it. Escorted off the porperty or not you are entitled to your personal posessions until the law tells you otherwise. If I were you, I'd call her parents, the homeowners and express your interest in some of your personal posessions. If tehy tell you to F.O. I'd call adn report my poo stolen, if you have receipts or proof of ownership and they have your poperty that isn't right. Chceck your computer for proof of your purchases. Now if the rich girl bought all that poo for you, cut your losses and move on.

Krillin, Vegeta and SS Gotenks III must be announced. I have never bought a "man Doll" but I may break down and order a few of these for gifts, I have some ultra mega huge DZ fans for friends that these would make great gifts for.

I swear by using swiffer dusting pads in my car and truck, they lift dust off the dash annd all the instrumentation panels and get it out of the little cracks and crevises that a rag just pushes it into. For all the rubber seals around door frames, hood and trunk I use Armor all Ultra shine, it contains zero petroleum products so it protects, cleans and does not damage the seals. The stuff is ultra slippery so you should never use it on floor, steering wheel or gear shift knobs because you can lose your grip, but it is fanstastic for seals. There is a pproduct called Zymol I believe that is a very nice leather conditioner, check it out the next tmie you go shopping, as with most leather cleaning/conditioning products you have to read and follow the directions so you don't damage or discolor your leather.

The Ultimate Filipino ROBOTECH Merchandise Thread
Ghadrack replied to fifbeat's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The vast majority of that stuff actually was released. I like the lead in for the Robotech, Robotech, ROBOLINKS!!!! High tech electronics are capturing children! Anyhow, I still find myself singing that darn Robolinks jingle I watched it so much as a kid. "Turns into a jet fighter, Robotech, Robotech Super Space Fortress, Lunar Land Rover, Robotech, Robotech, ROBOLINKS!!!" -
I broke down and went to the show last night. I had pre-paid for mine and was bored last night so I went to the midnight opening for the sake of the event. I'm glad I did, we showed up at 11:40 there were about 40 people in line. I don't live in a huge city or anything and there are 4 Gamestop/EB stores within 20 miles of my house. Anyhow, we get there and hop in line and some old dude (50's, bald, 320lbs-ish) pulled his beat up Kia SUV onto the curb next to the line, and cranks up Journey's greatest hits and gets out of his ride and begins to Air Guitar and sing along to his favoraite Steve Perry tunes. In between songs he is telling anyone who will listen about his rigorous work-out routine. The guy obviously had some fairly serious mental issues but it was funny as crap watching him convulse on the sidewalk, I got a couple really blurry crappy cell phone pictures but they don't do this clown justice. The store employees said that he shows up outside there store or to the Target parking lot every couple weeks to blast some Journey at the unsuspecting. I hadn't considered the "teenagers at their first concert without mommy, Oh, how may cigarettes can I chainsmoke to look cool?" factor but there was only one standing right next to me so I could turn upwind most of the time (a-hat). Anyhow, after I got home, against my better judgement I loaded up the game (What with work in the am). The opening credits and the intro story were pretty cool, on to the game. I think the driving mechanic felt a lot better than past GTA games, it was no Gran Tourismo, but it doesn't need to be. As soon as I was cut loose in the environment I wanted to get a feel for the action parts of the game. Ran out in the street like a wild dog and found the first person I could and beat him to death, money popped out, check! Oooh, hey look a baseball bat in the alley, oooh a shiney SUV, first jacking, check! The SUV was a wise choice, I mowed down a few park benches full of people with only minor damage and little slowdown for the vehicle. I found a good intersection revved it up and T-Boned the first cop car I saw as fast as possible. As soon as I jumped out another two police cars arrived and one of the officers looked at me funny. He got aluminum across the eyes, instantly 4 stars, I jumped in the nearest passing car (stallion I think) it was a rear wheel drive and had tones of power. I decided to see if I could get the military or secret service on the scene, like past GTA's I think the star rating is limited at the beginning of the game. I mowed dwon 40+ more pedestrians, destoyed a guy on a motorcycle, wrecked two more cars plowing downs cops at every opportunity but no more stars. I tried to get out of the wanted area but eventually I flipped some shitbox car and was immediately gunned down and shot probably 200 times on the ground, respawn at a hospital. Good times. Hooray for GTA! PS3 here BTW, handle: Ghadrack but I rarely go online with console games.

Bascially, Finally. They should have done this a loooooong time ago if they really were concerned with international piracy. Official discs with lots of languages in Subtitle form. I can't tell you how much happier I woul dhave been to get Evangelion and Escaflown and Berserk right from the source over waiting sometimes years for official releases. Here's to hoping that Macross Frontier gets this type of treatment early.
-
May I direct your attention to the official Macross Frontier model thread: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=25276 It's near the bottom of the page.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not pissing on the kits, they were absolutely worth the asking price, that being said they did require some work to make them look as nice as HWR made them look it wasn't intended to be a slant, just a compliment. I sure as heck don't regret buying them
-
Those 19 and 21 kits did start out with some serious fitting issues if they are the same kits I have. I have my 19 65% assembled and still have a long way to go. Fantastic work on those kits.

A Day late and a dollar short but I like "Gungnir" it is the name of Odin's spear, it plays along with the Valkyrie theme. His spear was also represented as a Lightning Bolt which is probably the allusion they were giving with the previous Lightning designation. Unfortunately it doesn't roll off the tongue as nicely as Valkyrie does.

Just to chime in, don't forget Gundam Sentinel which I think arguably has the most interesting mecha designs, so far as I know there haven't been any injection kits made of Senitel creations but they have graced the FIX line and G-System has released some of the most awe inspiring resin kits in all of anime mecha history.
