  1. Wow this debate is going on longer than I thought it would. So what is the bottom line? Regardless if it's niche or not, does the general community believe that Mr. K's justification for Arcadia's pricing is reasonable/acceptable?
  2. You should build in an elevator platform feature that will raise the valkyries from the "lower deck" beneath the glass to the glass "upper deck". Hehe just kidding.

Thanks for confirming. I guess Renato must've missed a tab somewhere.

Does the chest armor lock into place? Or is it loosely connected like Renato said?
  5. Can my answer be a combination? If so, it's 1+3. Yes and I have purchased one or more Arcadia VF-0X releases, but I am unhappy with the pricing and/or the general direction of Arcadia.
  6. I haven't seen it being sold locally yet, hence why I was surprised when I saw Gundam's post. I'll try to look for it among the Lego Trading Groups here. They usually sell Lego sets for better prices (e.g. closer to US prices) than the local toy stores or the Official Lego Store here.
  7. Haha it's all good. I'm happy with my Lego purchases Here's my AT-AT
  8. Hahaha more potential AFOLs (Adult Fan of Lego) in the making!
  9. Hehe Gundam@EFSF, looks like you just got back into Lego again like me! That's an awesome looking Wall-E! I didn't even know that existed. Darn and after I told myself the AT-AT would be the last Lego set I get this year... How much was that by the way? I blame it on you hahaha. You've started us on a new addiction! Lol
  10. What is this mock-rose stuff? Is that Lego Star Wars too?
  11. Personally, I called the AT-ST as A-T-S-T, even though I use AT-AT. I don't have to stick to one way. When I was a kid, I also called the AT-AT by naming its initials. But then I saw the documentaries of Star Wars and heard the crew calling it AT-AT so I followed suit. I honestly don't care how people want to say it as both are acceptable. I just don't like how this debate on the pronounciation has turned into a flame war between Star Wars fans. A lot of reviewers even make it a point to defend the way they pronounce AT-AT at the very start of their video.
  12. Yeah. I feel like I'm getting into them too much though and spend a lot of my free time watching/reading reviews on more Star Wars sets. On a different note, one observation I've noticed though is how anal some people are with how AT-AT is pronounced. I myself say it as AT-ATs and not Ay-Tee-Ay-Tee. I know it's an acronym, but that's how they were pronounced back then, even by the film crew (e.g. making of Star Wars videos). But for some reason people who call them AT-ATs are being called dumb. Yeesh...
  13. Thanks. And I still have an AT-AT walker coming. I hope that'll be the last Lego I get until next year. These things take up space really fast and I can't rebox them (unless I partially take them apart). But I have to admit... They're really nice even though they're designed for children. And since these are bricks, it's almost impossible to get a quality issue. If you do get one, you just need to get a replacement brick or part and the problem's solved.
  14. Ugh... I must stop buying Lego...
  15. Hi Gundam. May I know what you didn't like about the VF-0D and 0A? Because aside from the obvious aesthetic differences, the VF-0S will share a lot of similarities with them. You may up not liking the 0S for the same reasons as the 0D. Yes, the 0S is more iconic. But I feel like down the road, the 0D will carry more value like what happened with all the other less iconic Yamato valks.
  16. Thanks. I know I'm selling them at discounted prices, but was worried that I was pricing them too low.
  17. Hi. Could someone let me know what's a good price to sell these items? They're all opened and used (some with very limited handling mainly for inspection purposes), but in very good condition with no loose joints or scratches. Bandai VB-6 Konig Monster (original regular version, not special edition) Bandai VF-19 Advance Arcadia VF-0D I'm thinking $120 for the VB-6, $200 for the VF-19 Advance, and $280 for the VF-0D. Are these reasonable prices in your opinion? Too high or too low? Thanks!
  18. Just pull out one of the tailfins before folding. I don't consider Arcadia's VF-0A as a "perfect transformation" because of those poorly designed tailfins.

A lot of the hinge joints seem to be partly or completely die-cast now. Were there ever any durability issues on the original release for these joints? Also, how are the feet? Are they floppy in battroid?
  20. THANK YOU, Yet!
  21. Hi Yeti. I would like to ask a big favor if I may. Can you take a picture top-down of the Lego Poe's X-Wing beside the First Order TIE? I'm trying to get a better idea of how big the TIE is compared to the X-Wing. I only have the TIE Advanced Prototype and it looks pretty small compared to the X-Wing. But I think that's their proper scale against each other. Actually, if you have the TIE Advanced Prototype as well, that might be a better side by side comparison picture with the First Order TIE. Thanks!

Off topic but, I watching the NHK World channel yesterday and the program was about Haunted Houses and ghosts (Yurei) in Japan. Imagine my surprise when I saw the guy in the video above (Matt Alt) was one of the hosts/reporters in that show (Japanology Plus).
  23. Yeah. I haven't checked your store lately, but I assume that it'll be pretty expensive to order/ship just one stand to the Philippines with the same setup you have above right? Along with Lego adapters of course.
  24. I need at least one of these stands to display my Poe's X-Wing and TIE Advanced Prototype...
  25. Oh I missed that. I guess I didn't see it at first because it's a couple of pictures away from the play button and I could only see it if I scrolled the screen down by a page or so.
