Hmm, I just followed up on the shipping of my Roy preorder with Nippon Yasan, and got a reply within 5 minutes saying that they didn't receive as much stock as they expected. However, they are still committed to fulfill my order as soon as they get additional stock. I think this is the first time I've gotten this kind of reply for them. I'm not worried about my order, but I am surprised that this Hi-Metal Roy has sold out even though it's a web exclusive. Perhaps this line is doing much better than expected (which is a good thing).

I dunno if should be called a defect. I've had 3 copies of the Advance myself and never had an issue tabbing the booster into all of them once I understood how to do it right.
-
It's not a defect to my knowledge. You just need to tab it in properly. Like mikyg said, there are 3 pegs that you need to tab in. One on top the wing root, another below it, and one last one that clips into one of the wing hardpoints. Get those 3 in and it's gonna be pretty secure.

I went ahead and got the Hasbro MP-10 yesterday. Aside from the backpack not closing flush with the gun stored and one corner of the chrome on the front bumper worn off, it's pretty good. Joints were all tight, even more than I remember my Takara MP-10 was out of box. Was the Hasbro MP-10 reissued recently? The one I bought didn't seem like it was an old stock.- 16945 replies

Yeah, reviews I've seen online say that MP-10's matrix is diecast for all releases. If I remember correctly, I think it was the Hasbro MP-01 mold that had a plastic matrix. I could be wrong though.- 16945 replies

Yeah, but I'm not too comfortable buying a KO (even if it's oversized with improvements). If it was a totally original design like most 3rd parties do, I can forgie it more. But if they basically copied an official design and sold it as their own (even with slight differences), it just doesn't sit right with me. But thanks for the feedback guys! Waiting to hear more from the others.- 16945 replies

Sorry, one more question guys. I've found an excuse to repurchase MP-10. I'm thinking of getting the Hasbro version because I like the way the eyes look compared to the Takara one I used to own. However, when I watched one of the reviews on youtube, they mentioned that the joints on the Hasbro are looser than the Takara. Is this true? If it is, that might actually be a deal breaker for me because I don't want to deal with floppy joints.- 16945 replies

After watching the 2nd episode of Delta, I really hope they do the Macross Quarter-looking type HQ ship. It doesn't have the gun and carrier deck that the Macross Frontier had, but instead sports two Prometheus type ships for arms. Of course I want it to have better paint apps and a more solid carrier mode compared to the original Quarter.

Is it wrong for me to be so mesmerized by that rotating 3D image? It is holding my attention far more than any recent valk pics on this page.

I went out and bought Ironhide. It's true, he does look better in person. Thanks to everyone for your inputs! My only gripe as of now is that his van mode looks really out of scale with Hot Rod. But no biggie. These aren't Macross valkyries after all. BTW, did anyone raise the concern on why Hot Rod's tech specs were so high? He's just 4 points off from a perfect score, lacking only in Speed and Courage. He doesn't deserve those stats. As of now he's like Optimus Prime and Star Saber, and not even in his Rodimus Prime mode yet.- 16945 replies

Okay, I'm leaning towards Ironhide now since everyone seems to speak highly of it. Oh, I also read something disturbing. Is it true that the MP-10 reissues have a tendency for their chrome parts to fade, even out of box? Moreover, I've seen people claim that their rubber tires start cracking in less than a year. I used to have the first release MP-10 and never had these issues. If this is true about the reissues, I kinda regret letting go of mine in the first place.- 16945 replies

Is Iron Hide that good? Reviewers say he looks much better in person but he just looks super pot-bellied to me. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be hesitating. I think I already said Shockwave doesn't do it for me. I love the character, one of my most favorite Decepticons ever. But the transformation is too simple and the gun mode isn't exactly a nice display piece IMO.- 16945 replies

Yeah I used to have Alternity Ultra Magnus (white GT-R) and Bumble (Swift). I sold them off as well years ago. Is Exhaust better than Wheeljack? Not considering nostalgia value and popularity from the cartoon series of course.- 16945 replies

I getting into MP transformers again after I bought MP-28 Hot Rodimus and was thinking I wanted to buy one more. But having a hard time deciding between Tracks (or Road Rage), Exhaust, MP-10 (again since I sold mine before), and Ultra Magnus. I think MP-10 is still the best among those but I'm kinda hesitant to drop the cash for something that won't be new to me. Wanted to hear your opinion on the others. The reviews I read/watch on the internet are split. I'm looking for something that has a fairly complex or intricate transformation, and yet locks solidly into place in all modes. This is the reason why I got MP-28. Relatively simple transformations like Grimlock, Soundwave or Shockwave don't really appeal much to me anymore. I've previously owned the following: MP-04, 08, 10, 11, 13, and 15 if that helps in any way. Thanks!- 16945 replies

I don't quite understand this comment. The back area of the Yamato VF-17 was its weakest point in battroid. Bandai's VF-171 looked much more solid and less gappy, especially when viewed from the side.

I'm probably one of the few people that wasn't impressed with Wonder Woman in this film. Cal Gadot just doesn't do it for me. She doesn't quite look right as WW. I think it's probably her hair, or lack of it. I'm used to seeing a WW that has more volume in her hair like in the comics, art, or animation. Cal's hair just seems kinda sparse. Also her face/head looks pretty large (probably again due to her hair). I also don't like her accent. She should work on neutralizing it more. It feels like she's struggling to speak English fluently, and that's a minus in my book if you're playing a confident and capable Wonder Woman. Moreover, what's with all the eye contact with Bruce Wayne towards the end of the party as she was leaving? At that time, there was no reason for her to have any further contact with him and could've left without him noticing. But instead it's like she's leading him on or luring him to notice her for no reason at all. Lastly, there wasn't too much of a fight scene with her to make me go WOW. She probably just did 2-3 relevant things during the fight to my recollection. If there was more, I probably missed it because it wasn't that dramatic. I just don't get why a lot of people are praising WW so much. From her showings in the movie, it still leaves a lot to be desired IMO. Hopefully it gets better in her standalone movie. But if she performs the same as she did here, I am not optimistic.

I personally hated how they resolved the Vader-Ahsoka conflict. It felt very un-Vader like to me if that was how their duel ended.

Oldies but goodies. Had the Sheryl since 2014 but only got the Ranka today. The pair is finally complete. -
LOL!!! It was originally Monsters and Tigers and Bears right? Hehe

Who knows, maybe they will release the Scout Regult as a web exclusive and they will package both of the alternate missile option parts along with its accessories. It's not an uncommon practice for toys to have accessories meant for use with another toy.

That's actually a pretty nifty idea! Thanks for sharing!

These "@Bridge Bunny" posts never fail to make me laugh:) Though I will admit that I may have made the same mistake when I was also new to this board hehe.
