Really? I guess I don't visit those communities. Anyways, I just received my Messer VF-1. Regardless of what "hate" people have for it, I think it actually looks pretty good in person. I was skeptical about the scheme at first when I preordered it, but now I think it works an was a good non-canon scheme. Definitely better than the Arcadia Anniversario scheme.

I don't think it's necessarily "hate". I believe most people think the scheme looks good or decent. I'm guessing they're just choosing to prioritize their other preorders over this one. Especially since some of the other upcoming toys have hefty price tags.

Hmm, I remember reading something like this somewhere. Not sure if it was in this forum or from Youtube. If I remember correctly, the police weren't that helpful. He had a lot of stuff, then got robbed. He was able to rebuild his collection eventually though but it was a crappy experience. Or perhaps what I'm recalling is an incident related to a Macross collection. -

So tempted to buy another. But I told myself that I'd stop getting multiples since I end up selling the extras at sometimes lower cost afterwards. I guess I want another copy just so I can compare them and only keep the one with the best overall QC.

If you're talking about transformable Gundams from the GFFMC series for Zeta Gundam, how can you forget the Psycho Gundams? They're some of the best GFFMC figures. Although they are only 1/144 scale

Whatever happened to the Macross 7 speaker pod that Yamato showed off a few years ago? That was the only speaker pod I was looking forward to, not these little VF-25/31 speaker attachments. One of the few badass moments in M7 was when Basara shot that speaker pod into the enemy mother ship bridge and blew the enemy's helmet off with the sound waves.

Oh, I was talking about the Draken's landing gear, not the lil Draken's. Sorry for the confusion, I had misunderstood.

Okay. I can't confirm for sure if it's designed for it or not, but looking closely at the base of the landing gear (near the hinge joint), I can see a small detent or ridge. That's what locks the gear in position when it latches into the crevice. Of course it's really up to you if you want to try it or not.

Actually, they do lock, at least on mine they do. You just need to push them forward past the vertical 90 degree angle.

I'm not quite sure how you interpreted it that way... It's definitely not a "bug", but it's not a "feature" either.

The missile pods do lock into place. You're probably not pushing them in correctly. It can be a little difficult, but with enough patience you should be able to do it too. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier.

There's no madness this time. Still available at AmiAmi even after it processed my order. Usually it's gone by the time I'm done.

I'm getting both, but if I had to choose one, I'd get the Premium SDF-1 since that is a limited item and will be harder to get later on. On the other hand, if LEGO follows their usual routine, the UCS Millennium Falcon should be available at retail price for a few years before they discontinue it. But one thing's for sure, these 2 items will be the most expensive single toys I have ever bought... Hopefully I don't have to do this much spending on 2 toys for a long time.

If they actually released that, I wonder how much it would be? Wouldn't it be annoying if it was the same price as the Arcadia Premium Finish, or cheaper even? Well, for those who preordered the Arcadia Premium anyway.

Yes HLJ may ship by boat if you pick the cheaper options. I accidentally chose the one without a tracking number once and it took almost 3 months for it to arrive in my country. And the Philippines is very close to Japan. I was 3 days away from demanding a full refund from HLJ because I had no idea where my order was and if it was even still coming. Fortunately for them I got the notice from my PO 3 days before the 3 months were up. They told me that when you pick SAL, it's basically like a "ship if it can fit", and has the lowest priority. If there's not enough space for my package, it'll have to wait until the next shipment.

I honestly don't mind the clear pieces. I'm using them at the moment. I don't think it should be treated as such a big deal. It only takes a few seconds to put them on anyway and doesn't detract from its looks. I had more of an issue getting the missile pods on. One of them took me 30 mins to snap on, possibly due to a molding issue on the pod. The other 3 went on easily enough.

That giftwrap option has been around for more than a year. Not sure why you haven't seen it till now. And N-Y will ship it using a shipper box like they always do, regardless if they have their own brown shipping boxes (e.g. Limited items).

Did anyone else preorder their Defender from AmiAmi? I haven't received any invoice from them yet even though the item is already in stock. I did combine it with another preorder I have due this month, so could that be the reason? Do they wait for all items in the order to be in stock before they send the invoice?

Looks like I was right with the 60k yen estimate if HLJ was charging 61k for it without shipping.

Hmm, I don't see the clear wing support option parts in the set. I wonder if they decided to not include them. I know some people here didn't want placing those things but I definitely wanted to have the option for extra stability.
