I'm in North America too. Sadly, the @$$ end of civilization, too, as far as the toy market goes. I've seen them on eBay once in a while for cheap. Not as cheap as the prices you are talking. I'll keep an eye out for you. :-) ... and me too. These 1/100's are really growing on me. And, unlike the infamous 1/60 v2's (Yamato), these HiMetals don't seem to have the QC issues.

The Double Nuts and Bird of Prey looks so much better with white then the Macross Plus 19 tan color scheme. Just awesome.

I know, right? That Macross Zero 0D was damn sweet.

If they release a smaller version of this as a toy, I hope it's 1/10th as detailed as this model. Just stunning. I hope they do a TV version eventually too. Beautiful.

I just bought a few things from one of the Regult sculptors. He did tell me the Glaug is coming too! I thought it was just a rumor! Can't wait for the light missile Regults. Hopefully they'll do the scouts too! I'm really hoping for some Inbits too.

G1 was great, but inconsistent to say the least. I dug the 86 movie. Once Prime died, I remembered feeling like no one was safe. No one, and I mean no one died in Transformers prior to that film. A bit of a shocker. I also remember my Grandfather took me to see it in theaters, and when Spike swore for the first time, ALL the parents in the theater gasped in unison. My Grandpa laughed. As far as the death toll, there were a few scenes that were storyboarded, but never finished that involved a few other deaths. Also, if you look around during the battle of Autobot city, there are Autobot bodies lyin' around of G1 characters. Pretty sad stuff. The Decepticons had a pretty high toll count too. But the funny thing is, some of the Seekers who died halfway through the movie, are back on Cybertron and join in the fight against Unicron! Goes back to sayin' the G1 cartoon was pretty inconsistent. But damn, it was good stuff.

Someone asked about the new Tie Interceptor at TRU. I have 2 of them. It's nice, but the wings are made of a very soft plastic, and don't hold shape too well. I have heard horror stories from others who have it about the springs going bad. But as a display piece, it's pretty rockin'. The Cockpit is super detailed. And that pilot is the best Tie Pilot to date. It was suppose to retail for 40, but TRU in all their greed marked it up 10 bucks more than the MSRP. NOT worth 50 bucks. On a side note, it's on sale at the toysrus website for 30 with FREE SHIPPING. I'd pick it up there and save you 20 bucks. TRU did the same Price Jack to the MP Grimlock. Hasbro announced was suppose to be 50. TRU had him on their site afterwards for 60 and it sold out, now 70 because of the high demand. Absurd mark up for TRU. But again, it is called Manufacturer SUGGESTED retail price.

Takara is making a Masterpiece Transformer for the main character in their 1986 animated movie, "Transformers: The Movie." It's actually a Masterpiece Hot Rod...that comes with all the necessary attachments to become Rodimus Prime (Convoy)! G1 accurate robot, 5 modes! Hot Rod, Sports Car, Rodimus Convoy, Convoy Truck and the trailer becomes the G1 battle station...this is a sure fire win for me. What do you guys think?
