Thank for the update graham. Although you didn't reveal too much we couldn't have already guessed. Eugimon, you are the prophet. Alternating M-zero with M + stuff. SV-51 by mid this year. YF-21 by 4th quarter 2007. I don't see the reason why they didn't let you reveal the yf-21. It goes hand in hand with yf-19 and given that the yf-19 1/60 is selling as well as they are, you know yamato is banking on the yf-21 to do the same. and BAH no two seaters!

Hmm... that's almost like inviting yamato to F*** up the first time so they can make a pretty penny off parts... Heck. No. If they mess up on parts which they should have gotten right in the first place, they should have a system where you can mail parts to them and they send a good part back to you at no additional fee... I'd be willing to pay real shipping for that... The only scenario I see myself paying for parts is if I make a mistake and accidently break an otherwise QC free part.

It's funny because most of the reluctance people have with production panel lining seems to come mostly due to yamato's incompetence with them... I think the results would be totally different if you add "if yamato can do em like MW modders"

Nice. and to think just a couple months ago you were wishing people would shut up and stop complaining. Yamato's desicion making and QC has always been shotty since the begininng... and as much as they amaze me with wonderful stuff, they equally frustrate me with their half assed, abject greediness and many times idiotic decisions... I've been wating a millenia for the yf-19 to be re-released and now I've ended up cancelling my preorder and waiting for a second run (Yes, that's right folks, I'm waiting for the second run). The crooked gunpod totally turns me off because I display most of my yamato's in in-flight fighter mode... And dont get me started on the vf-0a Shin... the ass who made that decision in yamato should be neutered, flogged and hanged. Same goes for the pastel loving nut job who colored the vf-0 ghost. Just watch... these retards probably will actually give us stickers to decal up a hot pink Nora SV-51 and release an anime accurate canonfodder vf-0... I really wonder what they'll tell graham to tell us when that happens...

Really appreciate the work you're putting into all this, Graham. It looks so much better as a real 3 dimensional object. Will it take another official updated version for the crooked gun pod to be fixed or can we expect minor adjustments before then for a seond batch?

I rather have the slightly looser joints of the vf-0S than a gunpod that can't line up straight in fighter... That's just ghetto... BAHH....

the whole prediction about the sv-51 being next and then the yf-21? Alternating from M0 and M+ I think that's the best prediction so far. Although, I'd like to see a vf-0D first~~ :/

Graham already has given us tidbits of the most important part of the review, which is the QC... I have all the reasons I need to buy one the moment it comes out.

It's beige, red, and black, which are the colors the yf-19 sports, not dark blue. It does have the glossy effect which I think is where you thought it was dark blue but it's black.

the close up pic is especially asstastic for me... Reminds me of those cheap japanese diecast figures I used to have when I was a kid... at least those cost $8 bucks. this is just as small, just as crappy, many fold more expensive.

I'm not... Graham already said it's tight as hell and that we'll be pleasantly surprised with the QC. Preorders are also closing left and right... The yf-19 is the diamond in the rough as far as quality goes compared to the crappy colored, lazily made, feature lacking add-ons coming out... The yf-19 is as good as gold. Not having something as special as that this holiday will only be your loss. It should be on everyone's santa's list.

TV settings won't explain how the vf-0A itself is a bit darker than the one in the anime and the Ghost MUCH lighter than the anime... inconsistent inconsistencies... Hence, it's not my snazzy HDTV that is failing me but the color blind eyes of yamato... The color being off is a QC issue just as a loose elbow is... The whole look of the thing is altered when the colors are off... in this case, more than slightly. For an addon we'll be paying good money for, they should have paid extra attention to color... paint the missle launchers metallic bronze, the fuel tanks dark drab grey, and the ghost, at least make the plastic about 40% darker... That's what I expect for the kind of money they call for these things... Instead they make another ghost I've never seen in the anime, making that look better than the canon one... Seriously, some of the decisions yamato makes are so stupid, it stupifies me just thinking "how the hell?"

Why? How and Who? How color blind do you have to be to get it THAT light? The color of pastel orange missile launchers remind me of the fish cake sausages I used to eat when kid... I really wanted the ghost... I really did...

the SHE is inaccurate as well... it's not suppose to overlap that much. no grey is supposed to spill over to the top of the valk. If they made the fast packs attach to the fighter without having to bend the legs, it would have been the saving grace for the fast pack fold booster set for me... but both are off.

yeah and watch.... they'll make an anime accurate colored brown and white CF VF-0A and say "OOPS~~ we did it again~" Seriously, the idiot at yamato who makes these coloring decisions needs to be shot.

I'm not buying it anyway... the ghost is too light, the extras are too light, and I can give a rats ass about the drone ghost (I dont even remember seeing it on screen). oh yeah, SHIN! Grrrr... dont remind me... They could have at least colored the whole thing a bit differently with some blue tones and less contrast. but instead they release what they should have in the first place... You know what also was misleading? the red stripe on the box for the CF vf-0a.... shin's color. yeah, hence supporting the fact that both are identical and hence both mountable...
