  1. Yeah the animation is becoming incredible! Here is another EW clip: http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/07/21/star-wars-clone-wars-ackbar/
  2. That is an awesome interview! Love the pictures, May'n is so adorable!
  3. I was excited about seeing this, but now I am not so sure... Just a couple of questions though: Is there more Transformer action (with them in robot mode, not just as cars)? Is there less (hopefully far less) human "drama" that practically ruined the first movie for me?
  4. ^ That part is already passed. His usefulness has ran out, he can die now. Too bad Anakin didn't kill him in 'Sith'. But the audience was supposed to be upset, angry, or disgusted with Anakin, and root against him. Had he killed Jar Jar, he would have been the Galactic Hero, and cheered in the theaters.
  5. Look on the bright side, if you stick with that formula, you will blow through the first half of season three in no time. There are like three episodes in the first half that don't involve Padme and her inept political conquests. Those episodes are quite good... then it is off to the far superior second half. (the reason I will actually get the bluray when it is released.)
  6. ^ That is my thought. Order 66 has to be some pre-wired programing brought on during cloning. Even the representative on Kamino said they will take any order without question. So when order 66 was given, it was their duty to comply. However with this series giving the clones more personality, I wouldn't be shocked if they have an episode where perhaps Rex and another clone or group of clones discuss the possibility of that order being given. Without actually saying "order 66" or having to kill Jedi.
  7. It does look like it is pushing much closer to the events of Revenge of the Sith. However this is supposed to go five seasons. Perhaps much of the fifth season will be the battle of Coruscant and maybe go as far as showing a more detailed order 66. Which if that is the case, and season 5 is mostly the final hours before Anakin and Obi Wan rescue the Chancellor, we may see Ahsoka meet her fate by the end of season four. Perhaps Rex too.
  8. Supposedly 50 or so scripts/screen plays are together for the live action series. I think it will happen, maybe not for another couple of years, but SW is still going strong. Look at all the interest in The Old Republic and that new Star Wars Kinect game coming out. And of course The Clone Wars is doing well... inspite of the nearly awful first half of season 3.
  9. Sounds like another incredible Macross experience. Thanks for sharing and giving a review of what happened. Kind of off topic, any chance for a review of May'n's Rhythm Tank!! concert from March 6th? I know you went.
  10. ^Probably late September to early October. Hey Graham, did your son's interest ever return? I know the first half political episodes drove him away, just wondering if he gave the action packed second half a chance?
  11. I noticed that Ahsoka is only in one quick scene in the teaser trailer. Same with the wondercon trailer... I wonder if that means anything? Anakin is fighting Count Dooku again... Looks like it will rock, but of course the issue is we can clearly see this is nearing Revenge of the Sith. When will he have a chance to have his powers double from the last time they meet till their fight in 'Sith'? These last two episodes were really cool, and beautifully animated. Ahsoka killing both the son and later the father Trandoshan was awesome, because she seems very anti-killing of living beings. I know part of it is her Jedi upbringing, but even as a last resort self-defense, she seems against it. Oh and Miles, I too was looking forward to Chewie ripping a Trandoshan arm out of the socket.
  12. After three long weeks, Clone Wars returns with a two episode season finale. Episode 321: Padawan Lost Synopsis: Ahsoka finds herself trapped on a Trandoshan moon, prey in an elaborate and cruel hunt. Episode 322: Wookiee Hunt Synopsis: As Ahsoka and her allies struggle to evade the Trandoshan hunters, their efforts receive an unexpected boost when a new captive -- Chewbacca the Wookiee -- arrives.
  13. Awesome. The problem is, it takes the so freaking long to get new episodes out. It will be like another year before season 5 starts to air at this rate.
  14. It's only in a small handful of theaters and is having a great average. I would love to see it do better, but considering how few theaters is actually carrying it, I can't complain either. By the way, I finally got the Wings of Goodbye soundtrack, and love it!!!
  15. I'm in. Looks like it will kick ass. But mostly going for Jamie Chung!
  16. I read a report that said that the radiation levels surge to 1,000 times their normal levels at that power plant.
  17. Episode 320: Citadel Rescue Synopsis: After their ship and the only way off-planet is destroyed, Anakin and Obi-Wan must lead the escaped prisoners across Lola Sayu's perilous landscape as Plo Koon leads a Republic strike force through the Separatist defenses.
  18. I hope it's not bad. I stepped up and bought it from CDJapan. Though I am racking up enough points with them that it was nearly free anyways. Side note: I gave in and read the spoilers.... So awesome, but I wish I had the will power to have waited.
  19. After taking last week off... Episode 319: Counterattack Synopsis: With freed prisoners in their possession and the brutal warden attempting desperately to thwart them, Obi-Wan and Anakin search for a way out of the Citadel and back to Coruscant. The prison, however, has more traps, perils and pitfalls in store for them than they had imagined and they must work past their differences if they are to escape.
  20. It has to be shop'd, it's not big enough.
  21. I can't wait for the reviews either.... the question is, can I stay away from spoilers. Probably not.
  22. I loved last night's episode. It really felt like Star Wars. Especially the little things that were shot outs to the original trilogy. Like the Shuttle trying to get past the seperatist blockade to land on surface, being similar to the Imperial Shuttle trying to get access to the Endor Moon. And of course the Prison Break was similar to the rescue of Princess Leia on the Death Star. Although brief, I loved the Anakin/Tarkin exchange. Initially I was annoyed with Ahsoka (though laughed out loud when Anakin said "hey snips", before realizing she wasn't supposed to be there) disobeying and tagging along. But in a lot of ways it makes sense. Especially if Plo Koon really did have something to do with her being there. It will add to Anakin's distrust of the council. Hopefully this isn't a subplot that will just be dropped though. I would like to see Anakin confront Plo about that.
  23. Episode 318: The Citadel Synopsis: With help from R2-D2 and a squad of captured battle droids, an elite team of Jedi and clone troopers led by Obi-Wan and Anakin attempt to free a captive Jedi general, Even Piell, from an impenetrable prison.
  24. Tarkin makes his debut on the Clone Wars. http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/02/17/star-wars-clone-wars-grand-moff-tarkin-exclusive-video/
