To book collectors, need help tracking down Macross 7 stuff

Yep. That's why I snapped that VF-11 shot, I'd never seen it before either. Unfortunately, like I said, I just ran into him and I don't actually have his contact info, sorry. I'm sure I'll bump into him again at some point, though. Yeah, the canards look to be a different shape too, and the locks of "hair" on the sides of the face are a different length too, it seems. The VF-11B shot was supposedly used to model the single shot where the guard battroid is walking past the perimeter fence of New Edwards in MacPlus. But isn't that just a douga (in-between frame) collection? I don't think it has actual lineart models. -

Heh. No offence, man, but really that is the worst pose/angle with which to make your point. It looks all too effeminate there. -
That's the 1/72 kit. Also, did you notice the 25G renewal has already been announced, and it's coming in autumn?

I'll just put this here. Round two. You can only put 10 pics up at a time. Epic Fales Diva. Round Three. Just noticed, this thing mushes all the text together. Hmm. Round whatever. Boy, this is going to make no sense when people try to read it... Blah blah blah. Sa hajimaruze SATURDAY NIGHT; Choushi wa dou dai? LET'S STAND UP, BEAT wo kanjiru kaiii? I could be wrong, but it seems like, rather than revisions, what you have there is detailed-up lineart for close-shots and more simplified models for wide-shots. These are common in animation. I realize this doesn't help you in tracking this material down, though, and I'm sorry, all my M7 books are in the UK. However, if I had seen this topic before last night, I could have hooked you up -- I happened to run into a guy whose friend works in the industry and he was showing off pages upon pages of smuggled A4 photocopies of the original lineart for Plus and 7. I'm sorry but it just did not occur to me to ask about the Varauta mecha. Check it out: On second thoughts, the differences in the shapes of some of the elements themselves in addition to the detail actually is starting to make me think that they ARE revisions, after all... Sorry! In any case, the guy should have had them, as one of the pictures I took shows two versions of Mylene's valk -- though staring at it for 2 minutes still didn't make me any wiser to the differences. -
I think I stepped on my VF-22 once. Not a scratch. Also, a strong breeze blew the curtain quite high once, knocking the FP & Foldildo-equipped YF-19 flying off the shelf and reaching atmospheric service ceiling, then making a seventeen-point landing, since that's around how many pieces it shattered into. Everything popped back on with no scratches or issues. I may be rough with my valks at times, but I think I've never actually broken one -- virtually all of my many, MANY breakages/issues have been right out of the box.

It seems there is a lack of a thigh swivel joint and outwards-movement hip articulation.

That's odd. I already got mine!

Just in terms of that example -- of course we forget that scene, because we don't really see that as off-putting fan-service, unlike the panty-chasing episode of Frontier. If Elma had gone "iyaaa, hazukashii!!" (in the style of that loli chick from Aquarion Evol) and if Basara had turned bright red and looked up at the sky whilst saying "oh, em, uh.. sorry!!" then I would have face-palmed myself, but as is, the scene handles *nudity* itself rather matter-of-factly. The same goes for that "Fyana nude in the capsule" scene in Votoms -- she just happened to be nude there. Or is the entire ending of Ideon supposed to be fan service? Nekkid Basara and Graham looking at each other can be quite comical, but I really think it's not intended for BL material... Um... We live in a society, dude...

Can't. DA RUUUULLLEEZZZ...."Oh no!" LOL. Everyone else was so quiet! What, she's going to be there on Sunday? Sorry all these things are getting confusing. Anyway, I'm planning on going on Sunday to the thing at Ikebukuro, then I'll be back in Shibuya.

I don't know... I think that Gunbuster totally reads like fan service to the average viewer, but Fyana being naked in Votoms does not.

Technically, there have been other Macross PS3 games... "Macross Last Frontier", etc..

Rick Yamata to the rescue! Oi, batty-boy, oi!!

Episode 2 is excellent, too. I'm loving the characters, the settings, the mood, the music, everything. So far even my highest expectations after hearing the credit list are being met.

Thank you. You articulated the entire argument perfectly. I agree 100%. Heh, that reminds me of this:

Isn't the price the same as it's always been, since day one? I was under the impression the option parts were "free" to begin with. BTW, I'm 99% sure the Cavalier will not come with them. They also came with the unbuilt kits. So there is ONE other option.

Huh. Optimus Prime is moonlighting as a voice-over guy.
