  1. Newbie question. I've only ever owned a VF-1D and VE-1 from the 1/60 v2 line by Yamato, but recently I got my first VF-1A, the Cavaliers scheme. Is there a way to transform the 1A without taking off the head? If I try to leave it on, I can't fit the laser through the hole...
  2. Looks like the VF-171 is fine.
  3. Can I ask what program you use to do that? I don't have 5.1 output on my PS3 so I ripped the BD and burnt it to DVD where I do have 5.1 internalized. I watched that for a while but I thought about putting extra tracks and the program I am using (Freemake Video Converter) doesn't seem to allow for multiple tracks, unless I am missing something. I used to have a better DVD creating program on my old PC which did let you do that, I think it was called "Convert X to DVD", that was an excellent, though time-consuming, program.
  4. "Moving picture" is even more confusing, IMO. "In-between collection" or even "Douga collection" would be fine, since enthusiasts know what those terms mean. Thanks a lot for these scans, though!
  5. None for me thanks. I was intrigued when it was announced, but then we got our first pictures and I don't like the scheme. Wasted opportunity, IMO. Plus it's just another toy that will go floppity-flop in no time.

  8. I care about Kansai! Lived there for six years. Yeah, Fushimi-inari is cool, and is a great locale to use for movie imagery. They're sort of on Wolverine V or VI now.
  9. Ultimate BUMP. Why? Because I was doing some research and came across an article in a magazine advertising the Macross Special TV show. Then I saw THIS: http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-King/6479/makurosu.htm Also, because it's the 30th Anniversary, and I was curious... I have looked and looked and never found anywhere that I could watch this legendary show. Is there any way that Shawn or whoever has this show (subtitled, no less) could put it online, on Youtube or submit it to Macrosshare, or anything like that?
  10. Because 5 would have been Peace Walker. This would be 6.

    (Most of) My DYRL memorabilia

Stuff related to DYRL. Books, posters, LDs, LPs, DVDs, BDs, games, etc. There are a few more items, (including the Gold Book, of course), which I didn't immediately have on hand and so didn't make the cut. But this is most of the stuff I own for the Movie except the toys.

  15. From what I can tell on the "Super Dimension Seminar", I think it's the same as the Remastered DVD releases from a few years ago, only in a higher resolution. It looks fantastic on those DVDs, much better than the original DVD releases, so I imagine you won't be disappointed.
  16. Minmay is not on Earth...
  17. In that case we should be talking about 8 Man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=cpuARH6Vtvc
  18. That's because the seminars are nothing but adverts for the BDs..... I think you mean "wafers" not "warehouse"...
  19. Hey there! Here are the reeeaally old posts: http://www.macrossworld.com/cgi-bin/mwfarchive/ikonboard.cgi? Unfortunately, they're only from 2002 onwards. The 2000-2001 ones are still unavailable, as they have been for a decade. I suspect Shawn has them backed up somewhere, but it's probably far too much trouble than it's worth to re-upload them.
  20. Heh. I know EXACTLY what you mean! I know I have to sell some stuff off but it breaks my heart to do so... Unfortunately I can't even go into the closet these days because it's a million degrees in there (which can't be good for toys, either...)
  21. Hey I don't see the 19P on that list...
  22. I don't think there is one for this game, but there is an English guide that came out a few years ago for Macross Ace Frontier which is basically the same thing. http://www.gamefaqs....tier/faqs/54833 There may be a couple of changes to the controls (I think the Triangle button is now "brake" in Fighter) but all of these games -- Ace Frontier, Ultimate Frontier, Triangle Frontier, Trial Frontier, Last Frontier and now My Boyfriend is a Pilot 2012 -- pretty much handle identically. Knock yourself out. EDIT -- OK, forget that. I found this, the Macross Triangle Frontier guide for PSP: http://www.gamefaqs.com/psp/614495-macross-triangle-frontier/faqs/61883 This is much more useful because the controls are closer to what they are in the PS3 games. Just refer to that one and you should be OK.
  23. Too... many... jokes........!! Aaaaarrgghh
  24. The anticipation for watching stock footage of the same VF-11C getting blown up repeatedly on the big screen is killing me!
