This is what the official Max scheme is like. Sort of reminds me of the Cavaliers scheme now.

I know, my point was that it is unclear if the hinge is only on there because it is a prototype, or if the final product will keep it. I'm thinking that feature might remain on there just because the missile hatch is still there, too.

Yeah, it looks like the hinge is certainly there, but it's unclear if that's just on the prototype.

I really don't get the part where they mention that they were considering scrapping the Osaka exhibit altogether if they weren't going to be able to show it in Gerwalk as per the original plan, until they were convinced by the rights holders to go ahead with it in the same style as the Nagoya and Tokyo exhibits "because there are lots of Macross fans in the Kansai area". Why are they telling us this??

In a way I am glad since I don't think I could have managed to fit a trip down to Osaka in December anyway. Still... Too bad.

I just got home. I might watch the first two episodes after dinner. Although I did see edited versions of them quite recently on the Super Dimension Seminar, so it is still fresh on my mind.

Yeah, I feel genuinely sorry for her now. I believe she was actually sincere in her excitement to be playing this part. Sucks. Is it the Macbeth/マクベス/マクロス/Macross curse? At least we got an explanation for this one, though -- unlike the main dude who just seemingly got up and left.

I wonder how many people were going to this thing just to see Sayaka? Man, I can only imagine the flood of phone calls from angry fans demanding their money back -- despite the notice explicitly stating there will be no refunds. Dear, oh dear. I heard rumours that the script was altered slightly after the main dude dropped out, but of course, with the show starting TOMORROW, there's really nothing left to do. Wow.

This does not bode well. That makes two -- and these aren't background characters, we're talking about the main stars here. Pure speculation --> It sounds to me like the actors and/or their managers are getting upset with the producers of the show. Something is going on... However good the show itself may or may not be, the behind-the-scenes drama seems far more interesting. The replacement: (Link from the Musicalture discussion on 2ch.)

Looking at all the copyright dates.... can we deduce from the lack of "1992" that there will be no VF-2SS and/or Metal Siren in the game? Oh no!

Damn, I can't believe I missed this part of the broadcast! Argh. Regarding Super Robot Wars or Another Century's Episode style games, though.... I'd rather not have gameplay like that. Strategy games don't interest me much and the ACE-R game for the PS3 is pretty bad as far as controls are concerned. If Artdink is involved, I'll be there on launch day, but if not... Hmm. I would be pretty satisfied with a PS3 HD version of Macross Triangle Frontier. If they are restructuring those PSP games into one cross-timeline story, then that is cool, too. I hope it's not a Wii U game, but I really doubt it would be anyway. PS3 is most likely, right?

I watched the recent one, with the robot guy. Apparently he is friends with Josh B over at Collection DX. I wonder if that one was all staged too. I found it funny that for the Battlestar Galactica collector, they bring the actor who played the main character to his house to convince him to organize his stuff, while for the robot dude they bring.... the shrink. Talk about a raw deal. I thought they were going to fly in Go Nagai to appraise those Jumbo Machinders! (I'm kidding, of course I didn't really think that, but it still sucks that they brought in the therapist, who briefly mentioned anxiety being the root cause of his obsession, but then just left it at that -- making the entire visit irrelevant).

Yes, it seems they come in grey as standard. I guess what I'm saying is, it's up to you. I'm personally of the opinion that they look good in grey for all the valks, so there is no need to customize them to match the valk body colour.
