  1. Tsk. Some people, eh? Those guys must have been real annoying.
  2. OK, now THAT is HILARIOUS. It's like the Glaug is CRUSHING the VF-2SS with its foot. "CONTACT" THIS!!
  3. It's blocked to us living within Japan, so we will never know.
  4. Wait, seriously?? OK, is this another one of those "obviously you guys on the internet have never heard of sarcasm, duh" things? If not, then... Wow. Just.... wow.

    VF-11c

Well, "new" as in "from 2009".

    Macross 30

Wait, wait, wait.... How quickly (20 years) we forget MACROSS: SCRAMBLED VALKYRIE on the Super Famicom! That was just the limited edition collector's set, unfortunately. Having said that, there are probably a few people who don't have a PS3 but have that set for the movie and extras who are willing to part with their voucher code. Not sure if it is still valid, but I think it should be, it hasn't been a year since release yet.
  7. Can't find issue 11 now, and amazon is listing it for twice the price second-hand. Screw that.
  8. Yes, so obviously "Correction=Revise" is Arthurius's favourite character in all of Macross. Anyway, Yamato's VF-19 is the best Macross toy ever made (not including the VF-4 only because I haven't handled it). Trust me, we did a 3-hour podcast about every single Yamato toy. Bandai's offerings mostly turn loosey goosey after a few weeks. My VF-27 is now made out of jelly. The VF-171EX is sort of hanging in there.
  9. Who the heck is "Kai"?!?
  10. I don't know what that has to do with anything in the case of PSP games. The PSP is region-free. There is nothing preventing you from purchasing the game, nor playing it anywhere on the planet.
  11. Oh, OK, then. Sure it's not a reprint of that one they did a couple months back for Newtype Ace? I'll have a look for it, anyway. Thanks!
  12. This one's in English (well, OK, Engrish), and luckily it's also the best Macross game ever:
  13. I don't have the books yet (I only have volume 1, I read most of it serialized), but I would actually tick the latter box. I would much rather have the intrigue. I don't need it to follow the TV series, I have the Blu-rays for that.
  14. Am I the only one that cannot see the video? I tried using both Firefox and IE and it just seems to display the old Amazon order page. It still has the old Isamu in VF-11 cover art.
  15. Yes, there were more that I thought up later, such as the BARduke Scramble, etc...
  16. Hence the joke. Macross II is enjoyed by him, himself and him alone.
  17. I think it's pretty cool, but I do agree with Treatment, thematically, the minimalism works better for Plus. That said, I am glad to have the best of both worlds -- my "minimalist" LDs and DVDs, and "psychedelic" Blu-rays. Excellent!
  18. I don't get why people are picking up on this only now. This thing is over two months old.
  19. Ah... Sorry, Jefferson, completely missed that!
  20. New box art revealed, Mikimoto and Ebata: http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%9E%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%82%B9FB7-%E3%82%AA%E3%83%AC%E3%83%8E%E3%82%A6%E3%82%BF%E3%83%B2%E3%82%AD%E3%82%B1-%E5%88%9D%E5%9B%9E%E9%99%90%E5%AE%9A%E7%89%88-Blu-ray-%E3%82%A2%E3%83%9F%E3%83%8E%E3%83%86%E3%83%84%E3%83%AD/dp/B00AM70OV6/ref=pd_bxgy_d_img_y
  21. FB7 Box art is looking good. Do you like Mikimoto or Ebata? HAVE BOTH!! http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%9E%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%82%B9FB7-%E3%82%AA%E3%83%AC%E3%83%8E%E3%82%A6%E3%82%BF%E3%83%B2%E3%82%AD%E3%82%B1-%E5%88%9D%E5%9B%9E%E9%99%90%E5%AE%9A%E7%89%88-Blu-ray-%E3%82%A2%E3%83%9F%E3%83%8E%E3%83%86%E3%83%84%E3%83%AD/dp/B00AM70OV6/ref=pd_bxgy_d_img_y
  22. Whatever. I actually think the Yamato VF-19 (any version) is the greatest Macross toy ever made. It looks perfect in every mode, is rock solid with tons of die-cast heft and gimmicks EVERYWHERE. The opening Battroid hatch is like a magic trick. The only issue is the ankle design.
