On the box, one of them is shown as being Prime pointing. I don't have a clue who might be on the other arm screen. Maybe Thundercracker??

That wasn't the 15th anniversary, it was the 10th (of DYRL).

If a target gets close enough so that the over-the-shoulder-visibility becomes a problem.....he's got some serious issues!! Like Hikaru, too distracted by the swimsuited girls on his monitor to notice that he was about to crash into the Zentradi scout ship?

The last one was actually released a while ago. Last week I downloaded all of them up to the end in one go, but I have only seen up to 20 or 21 so far... It's gotten really interesting, still trying to figure out who that blind girl is... I guess the next time I will have time to watch them will be next month or so... Gaaaahh... OK, let us refrain from putting up spoilers here -- if need be, please form another thread.

The Official Aim for the Top! Gunbuster Thread
Renato replied to Noriko Takaya's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
But the other OVA episodes were done in 4:3 ratio, without letterboxing. One thing, I just watched the three mini-films (thanks for the download file!), and in the Sizzler one at the end the subtitle of Jung's phrase is "You're thinking too much, Yumiko". Where the hell did that come from? Isn't she just saying the Russian equivalent of "goodbye?" (I am not typing it because I have no idea how to spell it... Oh, all right, here goes: "Dos Vitagna". Laugh away.) -
Where's the Macrossworld 04/01 joke?

The "Ebichu Licensed" thread? -
Agreed on all points. I would have enjoyed M7 a lot more if it had been done (or at least started off) the way D7 was. As for that bathing scene, though, it just so happens that a friend of mine found a shop the other day selling lots of cels from that scene, quite cheaply. It seems no-one wants to buy cels of Nekki-d Basara (understandably)!

I really like the ending theme, "Kokoro wa Gypsy". I can't find any Orguss soundtracks around, though, so does anyone have any MP3s or links to any? Thanks.

Nerv, so if you like Grimlock better, how come there are zero votes for him?

You should hit yourself over the head with MPC Prime. Knock some sense into ya. Hehehehehe. I keed. I keed. Yeah, but don't do it with the Esca 'cause you'll just kill yourself. It's definitely the worst Yamato toy I own, but for the price I paid (Y3000) I don't really mind. Had I paid what Yamato thinks it's worth, which is like two and a half times more, then I'd be majorly pissed off.

Yeah, on the soundtracks Minmay sings the first verse only, but in the last episode she sings the second or third verse. Also, there is a wedding version which was also unreleased, she sings that at Max and Millia's wedding.

That's like one of the rarest books ever. If anyone has it, it'll either be Shawn or Valkyrie.

Another difference is that for some reason on the FP version, the black line across the legs is non-existent in the front portion of the legs, but reappears at the sides. It is supposed to draw a W-pattern on the thighs. Also, maybe it's just me, but I felt the non-FP version was more poseable than the new one.
-
no. they only released the TV armor with the VF-1J hikaru and the M&M's(but those are colored). if you want the TV FP armor, you got 2 choices....buy a super VF-1J or try and convince someone to sell their TV armor. otherwise you can get the strike armor and not use the strike cannon(though the color isn't the same). The movie arm armour is different to the TV one.

The price is TBA, as is the release date. As a very rough guestimate knowing the speed Yamato work, I'd say we'll see it by Christmas 2005 if we are lucky or perhaps first quarter 2006. It hasn't been announced how it will be sold, but there were rumors flying around a while back that two versions are planned, the armor by itself and also sold bundled together with a Hikaru VF-1J, just like he 1/60 version. It would not surprise me if this were true. Graham That wasn't really a rumour, that was the official announcement back when we saw the first pics. Although things change, of course (eg, VF-0), so it's not like it's set in stone.

I saw it last summer, and loved it while I was actually watching it, but I was rea;;y let down by the ending. Still, they really did their research on this one: If anyone here is from the UK, notice the famous "Rover's Return" from Coronation Street in the background of one of the scenes.
-
Erm... Does that say "Mechanical Robo Bra" in katakana???
-
Also, I don't have a pic, but I think it's in Perfect Memory -- the scene in the show when Hikaru's 1J fights with Britai. There is a scene where Britai knocks Hikaru on the ground and Hikaru uses the Valk's right leg to blast Britai. I think I remember you can see the inside of the foot quite clearly in that scene.

The movie was an EXTREMELY stupid story, but it did have new songs, namely "Heart & Soul" and "Flash in the Dark". As well as that, there was an acoustic version of "Remember 16". Personally, I felt that Dynamite was a lot less cheesier than the silly M7 Super Robots vs. giant monster style. (Although admittedly it did have its fair share of stupidity in Basara pushing the levers and controls with his guitar, and also the near-rape scene).

Keith, please enlighten me as to what "serious laughing" is.

Gonzo are also doing Transformers Galaxy Force at the moment. If I recall, Macross Plus also had a huge delay in its final episode release.

The closest thing was in Macross 7, the "PinPoint Barrier Punch!" yelled by Basara. Yeah, I was talking only about the first series. Although then, I thought about the "Daedalus Attack!!" by Misa.... Good god, that "Pinpoint Barrier Punch!" crap got on my nerves. Especially when you consider that Basara is the character who would be LEAST likely to say crap like that. Macross 7 did have its fair share of Super Robot Stupidity though, in other areas such as the "strike a pose", stock footage transformation sequences. Jesus. The first series seemed to have gone out of its way to avoid all of that rubbish back in 1982, so why the hell is it coming back? Seems like these days Kon Satoshi is the only person you can rely on to get cliche-free anime...

As I said in another Aquarion thread, this one is gonna be shown at around 1am. They could afford to target it towards adults, but it seems they're STILL taking the stupid, cheesy kiddie route.
