  1. He passed on the Aquarion and I think I heard he only got a couple of the Eureka7 toys cos they were cheap or something, so I really, really doubt it.
  2. Here's a stupid question. Are you allowed to vote for your own?
  3. You can download the entire commercial at Seibertron. The quality is very poor, though.
  4. This is the SECOND volume of Kawamori Design Works: the first, published in 2001, focused entirely on Macross: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/books/...esign_works.htm You're better off going after that if you want "satisfaction".
  5. My friend emailed me about this, but I have yet to hear reviews or anything. Anyway, I think there are already quite a number of manga software packages, so I don't see what the big deal is. Besides, I would rather get my hands dirty than stare at a computer screen all day. (I say that NOW, but...)
  6. This is interesting. If it's anything like the censorship in Gantz, the deleted material may be available on the DVD releases. Has anyone found any difference in the DVD episodes and the broadcast versions..?
  7. Well, of course it's personal taste. I personally think it's awesome , especially with all that New Romantic garbage that was going down at the time in the 80s, and I still sometimes listen to it. I also think that compared to the standard pop ballads in Disney it gave the movie a flavour rarely seen in animated movies before or since. What better musical genre to fit the theme of giant battling robots than Heavy Metal??
  8. Thank you! Downloading as I type. You know, it's funny, I saw Stan Bush's new album in my local HMV this afternoon! It was just on the shelf, caught me off-guard. To my surprise, I find that his back-up band members (Tim Pierce, Matt Bisonette) are the same as that of Mari Iijima's!!! Funny how these one-time anime musicians have even more in common than I thought!! I saw him live once when he came to the UK.... That has no bearing on anything, I just felt like mentioning it.
  9. According to that "press release", we will learn more about it in the hobby mags in April (Hobby Japan/ Dengeki/ Figure Oh).
  10. OK, here is mine.
  11. I was hoping talk of this would resurface in the advent of the Yamato Garland's release. Alas... Seems it went the way of the Tatu anime movie.
  12. Hehe. I thought this bit of the trailer was cheesy and funny as hell. Grrrrr!!!
  13. A Zen/Bushido influence. OK, then....
  14. If they skimp out on full colour pics, I am not getting this for Y3600. I'll have to wait for a cheap second-hand one to appear.
  15. http://www.toranoana.jp/mailorder/comic/06...14kawamori.html http://www.manganomori.com/cgi-bin/mangano...code=484435843X 3675 Yen. Hmm... No word on no. of pages yet, or actual specific content (how much colour or b/w etc.). But we are promised unreleased rough sketches and interviews etc. Edit: It's apparently being published by MdN Corporations.
  16. I'd like to see the clip, too, please.
  17. You mention the "plastic bumps which hold the legs in place": can you tell me if they can be depressed (i.e., if they are held in place with springs) on the Takatoku? I noticed that this is the case on the 1990 reissue, but they are fixed in place on the new reissues.
  18. You need to push the back swing hatch thing past the sides until it clicks, then put the Fast Packs on. Someone will come along soon with photographs to show you, it's difficult to explain just in words...
  19. I totally agree. In fact, I put a 1/48 against its box with the tailfins folded down and the wings retracted -- I found the box could be half the size it is now and still have room for missiles etc.
  20. Not necessarily. From what I know of the situation in Australia, Madman has pretty much a monopoly on the entire market.
  21. But there were lines taken from the lyrics of the song DYRL, within M7 Trash. I remember there is a credit within the small print in the manga to Victor and the JASRAC registration of the actual song with regards to these lines.
  22. Oh, this thing is sweet. And apparently the Garland can transform AROUND him so you don't need to take the figure out of the seat, just like in the anime!! Just one gripe: it looks a little plasticky... I'd like a more glossy type look to it.
  23. So wrong. So funny. 375099[/snapback] I couldn't see the clown one but that forklift one....
