I don't know, but if you like Macross for the Valkyries, all these games are worth buying a PSP for.

I can't seem to get the custom soundtrack feature to work. It worked on the last game and as far as I can tell, the system hasn't been changed. I used a variety of MP3s including ones I ripped myself and a few from Macrosshare, but none of them worked, even though now when you have unlocked the BGM selector mode, the BGM display reads "CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK" if you have put a song in the folder. So obviously the game has detected the files in there. And yes, I did switch the option to "YES" on the menu. The only thing that I can think of is that because I am on CFW 5.03 perhaps one of the features of the 6.35-and-above OFW are being employed... Another thing is in the Gallery menu I have no images at all in the Academy section even though I have played through Academy mode almost twice now.

Well, if we're opening that can of worms labeled "migration", then no-one on Frontier is Chinese because not only are they all mostly citizens of the autonomous Frontier fleet with its own president and government, but China on Earth itself has long ceased to exist by that point in time. More like "dissolved".

Well, IIRC the first time is just a trial anyway. You are not enrolled for a full course, it's only one term, so yeah, it's going to be much shorter. From the second time onwards you are allowed to choose your course at the academy and the story is a lot more involved because you are there until graduation (or something).

OK, I played the Macross 7 campaign, the Mac7 survival mission, the "Protodeviln" extra mission and some others (I even got Emilia's Queadluun-Gilga or whatever it was), and I have to conclude that Valgo is not in this game. And I think the VE-1 isn't, either.

The big shoulder hinges were also metal on the 1/55, and don't forget that that thing was loaded with springs everywhere, too. Anyway, I got my Hi-Metal Strike today, and I love it. Little nitpicks like the lack of normal missiles, round hands and the issue of the too-high chest skull placement aside, it's probably my favourite VF-1 toy. Well, no, I guess I still love the 1/48s, but it's still really amazing what they can do at this size.

Not possible, I just checked it now -- the screw head is not exposed. Argh, I did not want to hear this. And after taking a look at those problem areas on my figure, yeah, I can see stress marks developing.

According to the description, it's a kit of the 1/3000, which will come with resin and etched parts, and some type of light-up gimmick. Hmmm... EDIT -- It actually doesn't make it clear if it's a kit of the 1/3000, or an UPGRADE kit for it. I would guess the latter.

Dude, you HAVE to play "Scrambled Valkyrie" on the SNES. That one is a kick-ass, rock-hard, incredible shoot-em-up.

I think the only reason they put so many pointless features into mobile phones in Japan is because no-one actually uses them as a phone over here. You're banned from talking on the phone in virtually every public space. What on earth can you do with one without internet/crappy games/(non-mp3-compatible)music players? Bleah. I often leave my house without mine these days. I can do without the radiation, too.

Thanks to Jenius for the review, I was waiting for that. I have the 1J and love it, but have been on the fence regarding the 1S for the longest time. Argh, I think I will get it, actually. These guys are just too damn fun, and the only Roy I have is actually a flimsy Banpresto crying for an update.

To a certain extent, I do if I'm going to go and watch an "animated" movie. Otherwise, he could write a novel and I'd read that. He's written books, and I have no problem with those. Wow, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL OF THOSE! Well, maybe not Body Jack, which is just freaky. Leda and Birth are absolutely incredible, and Space Fantasia 2001 Nights is one of my favourite anime movies of all time.

Very nice, leave it to the hackers to figure all this out. Personally I think cheating around just ruins the fun of the game, though, plus it ain't that hard a game to begin with.

This just happened to pop up in conversation the other day. You know, I think it's been over 6 years since Nandy started building this thing, but I still would have preferred a Mospeada accurate to the actual bikes in the show rather than a "prototype".

WXIII is OK, I guess. The first movie is pretty good story-wise, I like it, but I just wish that there was more MOVEMENT, to say nothing of little mecha action. I mean, it's called animation, Oshii, try it. He once made a movie called "Talking Heads", but as far as I'm concerned, all of his movies are just a bunch of talking heads. Exposition from start to finish. He should write stage plays instead. Dear God, "Patlabor 2" was boring as all damnation. And don't get me started on "Tachiguishi-retsuden", which I THINK is supposed to be a documentary.
