I'm right there witcha. I don't mean to pick on the radio stations so much - but there's definitely no "In the Future There Will Be Robots" or self-help from Thor. Or hear Maurice introduce Africa by Toto by saying "here ees some excellent museek for you to get in touch with yourself with.." The gameplay of GTA is always great - but it's that attention to humor and immersion that really makes me a fan. Of course, we're also both confirmed 80's dorks... so it does make a certain amount of sense for us to be all about the Vice City. But I'm still saying it was a more cohesive, fleshed-out theme. EDITED to add - Also, to be truly fair - nothing in Grand Theft Auto has ever made me laugh as much as "Push It To The Limit" in GTA 3. I even have the song on my iPod... it's simply the most amusing music ever recorded. I agree and disagree on the radio stations. To me there are less great comedy than the other 2 games. But I love all the DJ's and adverts on the stations I listen to. They all match the theme of the game perfectly. Granted I skip all the non-urban stations (except the talk radio station) completely. I love master sounds the best since it's all the original versions of the sampled Hip hop songs on the game and the songs I grew up with my parents playing. My favorite DJ's are George Clinon, Julio G, and Chuck D.

Man, you are really going to hate the shooting range. I'm used to the free aim and it still pissed me off.

Yeah, I hated that mission too. Those bike cops go all T2 on you. When I finally passed it I only had a sliver of health left and had to run to get something to eat before I saved the game. One time while I was Shooting at the cop on the car I accidentally shot up the car and failed the mission.

Is there a car in the game that looks like the 90's Ford mustang 5.0? I've seen the NSX but with all the good research Rockstar did I can't believe that would leave that car out.

Better advice is to not use the auto-aim at all and just those fools. I only use auto aim for long distance shots. I like the free aim better, especially for head shots or multiple kills.

African-American Vernacular? Gheto street lingo? Mush Mouth? I call it "Jive" because I feel that all other terms that refer to it are just lame or mean. I'm sorry man, I was just playin' with you. That term "Jive" is so dated that it bugs me. I don't like most of the others either. but from your list I would go with Gheto street lingo (seems most fitting) out of everything else you listed. I have not tried this yet but, but if you put the subs on I think everything is in "regular" english.

To each there own. To me there is nothing more boring than a Short RPG (or now a days any RPG in general) or A FPS. And games with better Gameplay than Graphics are always a plus in My book.

George Clinton is a DJ, Fazon Love (Big Worm In Friday) is Sweet, Big Smoke is the dude in the bright red suit in Rush hour). I love the game, so far I found the LA Convenstion center, but No Staples center. Stole a nice car and now all the hood rats that wouldn't give me any play are jockin' me hard.

LOL! I called my girlfriend to see if my copy came today, and she said she had been sitting there playing the game for the past hour and she's not really into video games. I can't wait to get home.

Hey, I only piss on Beast Wars. There's just something inhereintly wrong about Transformers that fold into animals instead of big steely mechanical contraptions. Yeah, but beast wars was great Show Wise, and had some really great toys too.
