    I bet this has been asked before, but please forgive my ignorance. Did Khyron make any appearance, though probably brief, in DYRL? I never noticed his Glaug anywhere in it either.

    You know,I just wonder how much HG would sell the Macross license for anyways. I'm sure this makes me a "lying Macross purist" for even considering it.

    I've seen it twice already. This one definitely makes up for the second one in every shape and fashion. I can't wait to pick it up as part of the trilogy set on Blu later this year.

    Well, It will be a giant robot movie whenever it gets made, so that alone would give it a vote from me if it ever happens. I personally never got burned on Robotech stuff like you guys have, but I really understand why you all have the negativity though. I would be bitter too if treated like crap from McKeever and co.

    I'll watch the first few episodes before forming my opinion. Though having a preteen as the pilot just sounds weird to me.

    Well, other movies have made their ways out of development hell, such as Dungeons&Dragons, the Superman movie that eventually became Superman Returns, Watchmen, Sin City, etc. So, there is a very tiny glimmer of hope that it could happen in the next 5 years, but don't hold your breath. Now let's wait for Memo, Yune, McKeever, or whoever else to copypasta this as their own. Btw hi Kevin!

    I'm watching through Mospeada , I really haven't seen the Robotech equivalent, so it's all new to me.

    What I don't get is why he alienates fans and insults them on the RT forums. I mean if he's supposed to be the public liason, he really needs to work on his people skills. Btw hi Kev if you're reading this . Edit: One other thing- I was at an anime con, and almost anyone who I talked to had almost never heard of Macross Frontier, all thanks to our friends at HG- good job guys!

    So if Harmony Gold can't do anything about Macross Plus or 2, what was stopping that company from releasing the Yamato Macross Plus toys in the 90's? Also, since Harmony Gold trademarked the name UN Spacy, does that mean that HG owns you UN?

    DYRL, I only have two actual Macross toys - both are from DYRL, and Plus is my favorite. I"m eagerly anticipating a V2 YF-19 announcement from Yamato though.

    Sounds like a really cool idea! They should really get with Satelite and Big West to help them with it! I'm sure that Bandai and Yamato could make the really cool toys!

    I just got Robotech Battlecry on the regular Xbox again, today. Just wondering, what was keeping anyone from doing a SC 360 or PS3 game? It could be pretty fun if done right.

    Well, they did get some more Animeigo (sp?) editions of the Macross Boxed set, UN Spacy insignia shirts, and some more Robotech remastered dvds in. So yeah! That must be the exciting thing down the pipeline! Score for HG! Edit: I also posted my thoughts in the thread at RT.com, should I be expecting a banhammer?
