    Ah, I didn't know the canopy was capable of generating such a high-resolution display like that. It makes me wonder if there's a reason they still choose to use transparent canopies, rather than displaying a full surround image around the pilot at all times... kinda like the virtual cockpit in the VF-27. Would make sense, since you can just put more armor on the canopy to increase pilot protection.

    Does the VF-25's transformation mechanism rotate the pilot in his or her cockpit? I know the cockpit faces upwards and is in the rear of the battroid, but I am curious to know if the seat also rotates. If not, the pilot would be on his or her back in battroid mode. I'm sure that'd be confusing to their bodies, having the g-forces interact in an opposite fashion...

    Cowboy Bebop is a MUST SEE for anyone remotely interested in anime. The term "masterpiece" has been used to refer to this series by many critics and fans alike. The dubbing was top-notch, the music is 100% Yoko Kanno, and it was directed by Macross Plus co-director Shinichiro Watnabe. What more do you need to know before you're convinced you must watch?!? It's been noted that fans of Cowboy Bebop also enjoyed Trigun and vice-versa. Sounds like you've got more than your share of incentive to check it out!

    Oh, good! As it turns out, I actually have most of the day today to myself. I'll try to get some writing done. My next chapter has been half-done for months now, but I've been too busy to finish it.

    In honor of Planetside's ninth anniversary and the upcoming beta for Planetside 2, Sony Online Entertainment is giving 45-day passes to previous and current subscribers of the game. I've been playing this old classic for the last couple of days. If anyone wants to join me, let me know.

    For many years, I've heralded the claim that Civilization is the most addictive game ever and that the box should come with some kind of surgeon general's warning about the effects of playing the game. I'll look at some reviews of the expansion when I get a chance. Maybe they'll change my mind. As it turns out, I consider Ghandi to be the best leader in Civ 4. I guess he just fits my play style better than the other selections. Plus, the Fast Worker is the best and most useful special unit in the game. You get to use it at the beginning of the game and it never goes obselete!

    I have been a Civ fan for many years, but I still haven't picked up Civ 5. I saw some user reviews that were less-than-flattering and kind of shied away from it. Is it worth the 25 bucks or so it costs on Steam? I bought Diablo 3 at release and now Minecraft has finally been allowed to enter my system. I found a demo version of it, but I'm fighting with myself on whether or not I want to spend 27 bucks on the retail version.

    I am aware of such services, but as you said, it will frequently tranlsate into near-gibberish. Thank you for answering the question, though. Sorry if I seem crass, but I do get kind of tired of responses like that. I don't see most other questions being answered in Japanese without a nearby English tranlsation on it. Is it really a bother to follow it up with something we can all understand?

    The subs I have are Anbu/AonE. They do well for the first couple of eps, but they start to make some nomenclature mistakes in the latter couple of eps. (e.g.: "PCS reaction" magically becomes "PC-35") I used a subtitle editor to make some fixes to my versions of the eps. Perhaps by now, there's some corrected subs out there. I downloaded these subs some time ago... They should be available on the Macrosshare website.

    Yes! Simcity and Planetside 2! Really looking forward to both of those beauties.

    Yes, it's different. Seems like a decent story, but as Gubaba said, it'd be a lot different than we're used to. Doesn't mean it can't work, though. Macross has a winning formula, but it can't stay the same forever.

    You got Max's and Milia's facial expressions absolutely perfect. Milia looks like she's ready to open up a can o' whoopass... good job capturing her SDFM character design.
