Really goes to show how well the battles are coreographed in the Unicorn series. Seriously, have never seen better scripted battles in any other Gundam franchise.

Well said. That exchange rate is obnoxious. 10,900 for this VF-25, and its still stealing $150 from me before shipping. I wish it would just be 100 yen = 1 dollar. Make life so much easier (cheaper lol). Back on topic, how can they release they packs as separate add ons? Last I remember, they were super personalized for each valk (akin to race cars), so they don't seem like they could be sold individually (at least, if one expects to make any profit).

^^I don't want to start any fights or anything, but I think there has been a misunderstanding in terms of language?

If bandai is following the same release trend as with the V1's, wouldn't the Super bundles for Michael and Luca be next? Just wondering if the release schedules match the V1's? Was Ozma released this far behind the Alto in the V1 series, or was there just as much of a time gap?

That is looking great! I vote for a VF-0D conversion kit for the 1/60 Yamato as the next installment in Cap. America's awesome work!

Does anyone have some nice shots of an SV-51 Mass Production (preferrably using the stand that comes with it?) Thanks in Advance! -
Hey Guys, Are there any locations left offering pre-oreders for the alto version? -Thanks!

lol @ My Litte Pony. I didn't even know there was a show for that. As for the season finale, how are you guys seeing it? Has it aired in other places already outside of the U.S.?

Yamato 1/60 VF-19 Fire Valkyrie (v2.0)

Shameless plug: For those guys wanting one, I'm trading my vf-19 away. Check out the for sale and trade section. I don't want to lowball anyone, so I have some really good options available for those interested. "Option 4" in terms of money, gets you the fig for nearly half off (it will make more sense if you check out the thread. Just letting you guys know, especially those that may not have the funds for a vf-19 at full price! -
The new faces are kind of cool imho. I like their bayesque, but somehow not, look. Also, TF: Prime, beyond all the reasons I stated before, doesn't seem to be an inexplicably "kids" oriented show. For example, characters die, and some of the undertones are actually really dark. Lastly, have you guys noticed how the autobots fight the decepticons? Its pretty intense in my opinion, with arms and even HEADS flying left and right. Furthermore, that scene where bulkhead pulls out the wiring of one of the decepticon grunts was fairly intense as well. I'm not a follower of HUB. Is it a kids station, or more adult?
-
I don't know about you guys, but I actually love the kids in the show. They are not annoying by any sense, and really kind of seem to remind me of the human characters of G1, and their interaction with the bots. Also, obviously beyond that, I don't feel like they are stealing any time or anything away from the bots themselves, but really, adding more to the depth of the show at hand.

*sigh* I would LOVE to order a V.2 VF-25, but with this crap plastic continuously being applid to all the releases, even the new ones, I am just not sure about their integrity a few months down the line, not even years. I can definetely see what is happening to your Ozma to a V.2 Ozma in the future as well. Hoping to see some plastic quality improvements, though I really doubt it casing Bandai's previous renewed track...

^This game is gonna be SICK! Can't wait to see what they do with the updated engine and which new characters they'll introduce. It is a safe bet that grimlock is in it though lol. Back to the tfw2005 insider news, some people got whiff of two Prime Leader class molds, both supposedly related to season 1 characters. What that means is up to you I guess. I would say its a safe bet that one will be OP, but I'm unsure about the other one...

^Platformers! And Racers! You should try games like Uncharted and Gran Turismo. They may not be all anime'd up, but they are some pretty breathtaking games. If RPGs are your thing, you should even try Oblivion and its follow - up coming out, Skyrim. There is a lot offered!
-
Well, first of all guys, I'd take all this with a grain of salt, as it comes from a guy who is a "supposed" insider to Hasbro, so there is not actual solid confirmation here, although his news has been super accurate in the past (and he's friends with Michael Bay apparently). I would say his news is fairly accurate, as he is privaleged with interacting with Hasbro a lot, but remember that its not a confirmation or anything until Hasbro comes out and says it lol. I would say leader Megs is fairly confirmed as in there have been multiple hints at this in the past from more than one "insider". As for Shockwave, the insider stated that he would trasnform into something along the lines of the Voyager tank, so I wouldn't expect much there lol. I don't know about you guys, but I am looking, moreso than the rest, forward to that HA Mirage! Apparently, its supposed to be pretty sleek

Reading more of tfw2005, the Habbro insider has given breath of news regarding a Leader Megs and Shockwave in the follow-up movie line (similar to HFTD), as well as at least two more voyager class figures. Beyond that, apparently, the follow up - line is supposed to be even larger than HFTD, with TONS of new molds and re-paints. We'll see how this goes, but NYCC couldn't be any closer!

Actually, if you look back a similar time scale from the release date of the upcoming VF-25F V.2, the images that came out were very similar in quality to the VF-25S mock-ups that recently came out. That picture showed a product with a purple tint - canopy, as well as other little variations from the product that we see today. If we cross-apply that theory here, it actually does make more logical sense to presume that the Ozma pics that we saw are actually pre-production samples, not an actual "representative" product image. Furthermore, I think Jenius even stated that Bandai products are prone to chipping, so I don't really think that is anything to be stated against him. Lastly, if my IT skills are correct, It does NOT take 6 months to create the the generally small first-run quantities that these items are sold upon. Bandai "might" sell 125,000ish units upon the first run release (which is why they are usually sold out so quickly), and 6 months is a LONG time for a manufacturing factory to create such a small quantity of figures. Logical reasoning deducts that it is in fact pre-production, with maybe a few more tweaks to go.

That LED Rail Gun is pretty cool, but if I get one, I'll probably wait till RAY. I think thats a cooler, more "organic" design, which is kinda a preference thing really.
-
^Do you know if they will be making any "pilot" figs to sit in the mouth, like Snake or Raiden? Also, any pics of said LEDs? i haven't seen them...
-
WOOT! I thought this project had become vaporware, but I guess not. And double WOOT! to the making of a RAY soon. I wonder if it'll come with LEDs or anything, for such a big figure....

The Transformers 3 Thread--A Michael Bay Thread
Archer replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Does anyone know, which of the 23482398 different releases will be coming with bonus features/extra content? I heard the standard blu-ray doesn't, so I'm holding out for the one that does.... -
Do you guys think there will be any "Leader" class figures for the Prime series? I mean, we've seen voyagers and deluxes (which both look awesome), but it just wouldn't seem right to me without a leader class Optimus or Megatron.....

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
Archer replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Oh yeah, I meant to ask, but has there been any news regarding the cockpit block of the battroid mode? I guess we can assume that it will open, as did the VF-19 figure, but it'd be great to hear a confirmation! -
For the guys that don't read tfw2005, I'd hop on over if you like movie figs Someone who is in close with Hasbro has confirmed: 2 que/wheeljack deluxe movie figures (a regular and comic inspired headsculpt) 2 dino/mirage deluxe figures (a regular, and a stealth force like one) Human Alliance Mirage/Dino (unlicensed Ferrari 458 look-a-like) and later on in posts, a Human Alliance Topspin was confirmed as well, which I am hoping will be weaponized. Good day to be a fan of movie figs By the way, an after DOTM movieverse figure line similar to HFTD was confirmed as well, which makes sense really, as there was no way Hasbro was gonna pull the plug on their main cash cow only a semester after the release of their biggest movie yet.

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
Archer replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
The problem with those pull out ankles that I found is that, at least the first few times over, you need to apply a LOT of force to get them out, as they are ridiculously tight in the leg. Took me all I had to pull them out, and to be honest, at that level, careful control of force isn't really an option, and you can't really control how hard your pulling the ankle out once it starts to move. In my experience, while pulling out, after enough force, the ankle just slid out real quickly, and I didn't have much control over how far the ankle was being pulled. It just went as far as it could I guess lol. I don't know, but this might be why my ankles are so loose. For those that haven't transformed it or bought one yet, DEFINITELY loosen the screw a bit in that area to make pulling the ankle out easier. I would assume the same applies to the VF-17 if ball joints are going to be used.
