@ Clown face And in terms of real airplanes, FEW combat comissioned planes (military) actually have a red paint scheme. Although blue is not that common either, it is more prevalent. Lastly: I think everything should make more sense now Back on topic, I'm actually considering pre - ordering one of these over the VF-25 v. 2 (thank you webshop exclusives). Is the color scheme more akin to the professional pictures provided by Yamato, or the external pic with it holding the gunpod seen earlier (which seems to have a much more metallic blue sheen to it)?

So what you really should be asking yourself is: Do I want Ronald McDonald scheme or Blue Angels scheme I think the answer to that is inherent in the question itself

Dude, how could you tell so easily? Well to be honest, I thought the design could tide me over, but red + singing dude + singing dude [did I mention singing pilot] undermined the whole experience for me....

With the super pack for Alto and Armored pack for Ozma being web - exclusives, I'm worried about the fate of the - G and RVF - models. If these packs are being sold as web exclusives, is this a sign at the conclusion of the line (like it was a 2 show deal). I really hope I am extremely wrong, as I've been waiting out for a -G variant.

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU I sold my 1/60 VF-19 Kai (hated the aesthetics), but now I want this!!!!!!! I hope thats normal . Did anyone mention anything about improved ankles, cuz that was one of my biggest issues with the Kai. Sorry if this has been answered before....

Yamato 1/60 VF-19 Fire Valkyrie (v2.0)
Archer replied to UN Spacy's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Glad you like it KiriK. I appreciated the engineering, but do the ankles feel loose (like i mentioned) to you (since you've got the one I had)? How is posing? -
Or better yet, just place said toys in a sealed vacuum. With no physical matter outside of the toy itself, the only thing that can hurt the toy is itself (which seems to happen a lot actually... ). Although light can still go through, though photons without much matter to manipulate won't be of too much harm lol.

Got my first masterpiece cyclone (rand/ray/ley) type, and its really cool! But HOLY COW is the rand figure tight. I can barely move is joints, they are so tight. Also, failed my first transformation to armor mode. I got all the way there, but for some reason, the cavity (opening) in which you place the figure seemed a tad too short, which didn't allow me to line up the figure with the tabs. *sigh* Can anyone shed some light on this issue? Am I just a moron ? -

Alright, that makes sense. Generally, I've been jaded by HLJ's claims that FedEx is quicker (which it was when I used it), so I fork over the extra so I can get the stuff quicker. Your right though, FedEx center is far away from my location as well (a 45 minute drive), but meh, I try and stay home or have someone stay home when I'm expecting a package.

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force

Sooo......ratchet ankles anyone Sorry to keep beating a dead horse, but didn't Graham email Yamato a while back regariding the nature of the ankle joints? From pics, they seem to be ball joints, but here is to hoping they are not! -
Since this is an inquiry thread, I was wondering why you guy's prefer EMS? I've only ordered from HLJ twice, but I used EMS once (first time) and FedEx the second time. Fedex got to my location (midwest U.S.) MUCH quicker (about 2 or 3 days iirc) than the EMS shipment..... Is there some advantage to EMS I'm missing?

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force

Yeah, at this price point, I would hope for super packs to come with it.....but I highly HIGHLY doubt they will. The super packs aren't that extensive for the VF-17 are they? Lets hope they come with it -

With the way oil prices are going, I wouldn't be surprised if the price point continued its upward trend -

I don't like a lot of the stuff people mentioned as well, but gosh darn it, this has actually grown a lot on me the past few hours. *le sigh* might just have to put down a pre - order. Some one tell me their using ratchets for the ankles or the cockpit can open in battroid, and this deal is sealed (man, toys are getting a lot more expensive) -

Just wondering, but I just looked at the lineart (*ducks in cover*). It seems that this battroid mold would look GREAT if they could just push the chest piece down a bit. Seems to be a bit to parrallel to the ground, where as it should really be pointing further downwards. Maybe the yamato showcasters talked with Hasbro, and are presenting mistransformed shots? Dunno, but I think it would look a LOT better with that adjustment -

Any insight as to how/if there will be a cockpit mechanism for battroid, or if it has ratchet or ball jointed ankles? Hovering over a pre - order with these two things in mind -

Color me dissappointed. I don't know, I'm not really a stickler for line art accuracy or anything. Just.....something doesn't seem right to me. Maybe I have been spoiled by the really good proportions of the -19, but yeah, especially the shoulder and chest area seem a little too gangly, and the bottom fourth of the head is covered up as well. I know that this is a hard design and all, but yeah, easy pass, although I wish it weren't EDIT: The thing(s) that would make this an instabuy though would be a rotating cockpit that opens in battroid, and ratcheted ankles rather than ball joints, although I am doubting the latter will come to fruition. -
That age system machine is pretty redonkulous. Really, a machine that can output a WIN in approximately 5 seconds no matter the situation? This will make for a great plot. Every episode can involve the AGE system breaking, and everyone working hard to fix it so that they can it can ouput a WIN at the end of every episode. Thats milking to the max! And they can make a model kit for EVERY weapon/system made, and PROFIT *troll face*

True. In my honest opinion, either the tornado packs come immediately first for armor (due to movie popularity), or they don't come at all. The super and armored packs are iconic, so they make more sense, but I'm not to sure about the tornado packs in general.
