1. Is it this Auctions? http://cgi.ebay.com/Macross-DYRL-Max-Ver-V...1QQcmdZViewItem Did you try contacting the Seller? If you tell him that it was a mistake maybe he can do the 2nd chance offer to the 2nd highest bidder. You can say, you'll pay for his Ebay fee or something. He could even be a MacrossWorld member. But still, I think you should really look more closely at what you're bidding on next time, you had like 7 days to recheck on your bidding auction. The title, pictures and discription also very clearly shows 1/60. This price is high but if it'll make you feel any better, I paid more than that on the 1/60 Max when it first came out.
2. With the Zeta transformation process on this tiny little figure you just need to removing the antenna and swap the waist covers seems pretty good to me. You're not even removing the whole Waist,, you're just removing the cover/amor. I wouldn't even consider that swaping parts. It's pretty much the same as removing the intake covers on the 1/48. Cost is always a factor, but I think they also want higher posablity at the waist joint. With the MG MKII Ver2 issue, I'm sure they already took the extra check on this Zeta Figure in that area.
3. Yes!!!,, a OAV sound great, short, higher budget, and the best part is no recap eps and reuse scenes.
4. You scored as FBI's X-Files Division (The X-Files). You are part of a super secret section of the FBI. You also have the very cool status of “Special Agentâ€. You believe in many conspiracies and know the government is covering up way too much. Now if only you could the Cigarette Smoking Man to stop providing you with the second-hand smoke. FBI's X-Files Division (The X-Files) 94% Deep Space Nine (Star Trek) 94% Babylon 5 (Babylon 5) 94% Nebuchadnezzar (The Matrix) 88% SG-1 (Stargate) 81% Moya (Farscape) 81% Millennium Falcon (Star Wars) 69% Andromeda Ascendant (Andromeda) 63% Galactica (Battlestar: Galactica) 63% Serenity (Firefly) 56% Bebop (Cowboy Bebop) 50% Enterprise D (Star Trek) 50% No bad, considing I don't watch any of the top 3 series
5. here are some more pics of upcoming releases. The Titans MKII seem to have some new instead of just a recoloring.
6. Gff don't come with dry transfers, decals, or stickers. All the marking were already applied at the factory.
7. They're kind of stuck. If someone has 10 games they bought at 50$ a piece when they were new, they have 500$ in software that's unusable without a new deck. Emulation isn't an option, and there's no compatible hardware. I don't see 10 games as an unreasonable level for a casual gamer. For someone that considers it a hobby, it's quite easy to have in excess of 2 grand locked up in one system's games, even with a bit of bargin-bin diving. At that point you can sell the games for a miniscule fraction of what you originally paid, keep them on the off chance a new system falls into your lap, or cough up another 150 for a new deck. For the casual gamer, the PS2 is likely the only system they have, and they've lost access to their entire game library. For the hobbyist gamer, sheer quantity of releases means the PS2 will likely make up the majority of their current-gen collection. 372853 Ok , assuming the casual gamer has 10 games,, that they brought and played on their PS2. The System then breaks down. If the owner buys another PS2 for replacement it’s obvious that the owner like his 10 Ps2 games enough to spend some more money on a new PS2 in order to replay them. Why would you buy another PS2 to replay 10 or 20 games that you think sucks? And if those 10 or more games does indeed suck donkey poo and the owner still goes and buy another PS2 instead of a different console it can only mean the owner is interested in what the PS2 has to offer in the future, mainly future games. Or a combination of both replay already own games that you enjoy and for future games that interests you. So no, they are only stuck if they like what the PS2 has to offer. It’s like me getting stuck with Macross and other Mecha items. I enjoy them, therefore I’m stuck with them.
8. You have it reversed, the Xbox may have a large modding community but the PS2 has a way larger modding community. Also the Xbox is pretty much a PC while the PS2 is a still a pure Console. This alone is enough to pretty much state that the Xbox has a more familar enviornment for PC friendly people to do modding. When you are more comfortable in your working enviornment you'll have a less chance of screwing up. When I open a Xbox, I can point and know what is what, but when I open a PS2 I'm only know a very basics or parts. I mean many people knows how to build pcs now, but who do you know that can build a console, or a console compable. Moding a PS2 is easier now since the trial and error period already took place, the same with the Xbox, but in both their trial and error period I would expect more damage on the PS2 side just because of the unfamilar enviornment.
9. ok,,instead of assuming the number of defective system there's another point that should be noted. The simple fact that when the system breaks due to whatever reason, the owner is thinking about getting ANOTHER one or FIXING it means only one thing. The Owner like the system or the games for that system, or for whatever the heck reason. This alone equal sucess to me Also don't forget because so many people have a PS2 even if the same defect rate is the same as the Xbox , the PS2 defect numbers will be greatly larger than the xbox. also there's lots of moding of the PS2 too, in those you know a percentage of them noobies will kill their system doing it.
10. I have a first gen PS1 that I modded it with some 10 wired mod chip right after I purchase it. It still works, the controller still works too. I was surprise when my old mod chip was able to play those anti-mod chip games that came out couple of years later. The game was Dino Crisis. Got the Dreamcast, it was a great system Got the PS2 with Gran Turismo 3 package in a parking lot from someone trunk. works great. Trade in my PS2 and 5 old games to EBgames for $150 credit for the slim PS2. All of them still works. PS1 was a great system PS2 was a great system Dreamcast was a great system
11. Force impulse may not be the best of the HCM pro, but it's far from Garbage. The proportions are pretty acurate, the poseable is great, the paint job is still good considering that it's ONLY 3 inches tall. It can also fully transform, chest, leg, core, and force pack. It even have the shuttle for the force pack. And the Core splendor transforms too with wings and everything (around 1 inch). The small sheild slides in and out too. No painting require, no assembly require. I don't see any garbage here. This is comming from a Strike fan that dislike all versions of the impulse. Swear to never get one in anyform., but one day tricked himself into buying it (hcm pro only).
12. hmm, good point. every cosmic region fix seem to only include 1 sheild. May it be standard or Beam they still only gave one. So it does seem likely that the Destiny gundam might not include any Beam sheild.,, from the pic there wouldn't be any beam boomerang too.
13. Pics of Cosmic region #7004 Destiny is up on tamashii All the edges looks very sharp, I like it,, http://www.tamashii.jp/fix/fix_cos/04.html
14. I guess you can treat it as a chain reaction. By the time the Engine overheated and exploded, all the other gizmo that was runing along with the engine was already at the point of failure. The internal explosion would then cause more explosion here and there. well, something like that.
15. Can Mac users install Vobsub? If so I can rip out the subs from the video file and you just need to place it in the same directory as your video file. Perhap you might need to change the the extention of the video from MKV to AVI Here's the subs for ep 2 and 3 http://rapidshare.de/files/13441605/_gg__M...F9E12_.ass.html http://rapidshare.de/files/13441624/_gg__M...5BA67_.ass.html
16. The Chinese fansub is still up is you just want to see the Action and read chinese subs. These are in RM so MAC should beable to read it. http://bt.popgo.net/down/down.php?hash=def...c7a73076e5a84b9
17. I seem to remember that they were going to show Zeta Movie 2 on their Bandai channel later this month. So you should expect higher quality from that one. The rip of the first movie from that channel was pretty damd good, almost DVD rip like. As for this 2nd movie,, I agreed it does jump all over the place, one minute their here and the next they're in space,, it even worse if you already saw the series because you know that they skipped a whole lot.
18. 369989 The level of Quality on the MPC Alpha is definelity not as high as the 1/60 Yamato. The MPC Alpha's are lower. I have lots of 1/60 Yamato and I don't recall any of them being lemons straight out of the box. Yes, these might be sturdier then the Banprestos, but I'm not sure on Tighter yet, because Toynami is pretty well know for loose this and that. But I'll still get one, because it's Macross
19. If you downloaded the Fansub version then you should have no problem burning it to a normal CDR. The current normal spec on a CDR is 700mb, which will still work if you want to burn a the fansub 702mb file. If you gotten another fansub that's more than that ammount,, you can always RAR it. You just compress the file into like 10 RAR files. Once you get it home , just put them back together.
20. A Raw version of the 2nd movie is out.,, you get it in the the other thread http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...=60#entry370007 enjoy
21. Zeta II Lovers is out. This is a RAW, so no subs Encoded in DIVX511, AVI file, 640x360, VHS sample sourse) Here's the link http://tracker.manga-ton1x.net/download.ph...%29.avi.torrent enjoy
22. I'm pretty sure those are the old 1/170 kits from Arii. not sure if they are bootleg or offical, mostly bootleg.
23. If you are talking about the first movie , then the answer is yes, the link for it was in the other Zeta thread. But for the 2nd movie,,nope not yet.
24. a clip or a gif is pretty small for something your friend and yourself to talk about reguarding motion of the eva's and large "things" in general in animation. Also that battle is pretty long, so I don't think you'll find one. For animation motion you will need a bigger quality and the pause/slow button to really appreciate the detail and the smooth movements. So you have a couple of choices.. -RENTing the MOVE is a very good idea.,, it's fast, you get great quality, you can also chose which part to watch. If both of you haven't seen the movie yet,, then it's a must. You will also enjoy the movie abit more for watch the whole thing before watching just the battle scenes. -Downloading the a version of the MOVIE online. If you have problems of just bringing the whole movie at work ( this is just bring it, not watching the whole movie, or only watching the battle scene ) then I recommend for you to encode just the battle scene at home from your options above. it's farily easy, if you download it then it'll be in avi format. For AVI you'll just have to cut the clip. If it's DVD you'll have alittle bit more work. AS a EVA fan, I recommend you renting the movie as it will have the best quality you can get and it will be easier for you to truly enjoy the animation motion and details.
25. that looks great, I never thought about mounting it this way. Hey,, I have a idea, if you cut out small part of the drywall, don't cut the studs, ,,frame the inside, do some this and that. you can make you own launch bay. so pretty much your STRIKE would be hidden in the walk until you open the Launch doors, pull out the guidance rails, to review your Strike ready to go.
