  1. They look Great!
  2. on further inspection I have 2 warped pieces, slight curves on parts 71 [dorsal fin] and 42 [the canard has a curve to it that the opposite part lacks] The leg and nose section pieces certainly look like they're recast bandai engineering
  3. certainly could be, I don't own any other YF-29s, and the only bandai VF-25 I own is an RVF-25 so I could loot the ghosts from it...
  4. that's why I ordered 3 I think they're supposed to be missile packs, but I can't confirm. if they are missile pods, it would be nice to be able to open them up.
  5. Oh thank god I'm not the only one who does that.
  6. that particular one is not a conversion, it is a complete kit [fighter mode only]. no instructions, just a partslist. I haven't given mine a part-by-part inspection yet, but on first glances mine did not appear to have any warpage on her, even the 'so thin that they're almost translucent' bits... I'll dig it out and have another look to be sure about the casting quality... I belive there is a different kit [not from e2046] that requires a bandai vf-25 to hang the conversion on...
  7. In other developments: VF-0A/S w/Ghost and SV-51r w/Twin Booster to be reissued... guess it's a good thing I didn't pay the $100+ asking prices on certain online sites.
  8. YF-19 fastpacks is an acceptable concession as long as one happens sometime down the line...
  9. Just pre-ordered 3 of these at HLJ Get yours while they're hot!
  10. Brush on top of a sheet of old decals [like the Bandai VF-2SS], then trim the decals out, use as normal, but always be gentle with old decals. the Wave non-scale VF-0 kits are much newer than the Bandai VF-2SS... you may not even have to use decal film, but it won't hurt to either. I use this whole line of products almost exclusively for my decaling work:
  11. what kit is that?
  12. I must ask: What is he taking a picture of that has him so... excited?
  13. Now THAT is a good idea. Finally an Idea of what to do with my VF-0Bs!! That's make a great diorama. especially the punch-out
  14. did you end up with a set of non-flush Xuron snips? I have a pair of flush-cut snips by Xuron and they're great... no nubs at all, just a little roughness that I can remove with a few passes of a sanding stick... even on a 90's era Revell/Monogram Starfury kit.
  15. very nice! did your gloss-coat eat your masking film? or does it become more transparent when it dries?
  16. Wow, there's really no hiding that is there?

  18. Wow... she looks great! a vast improvement over the basic kit!!
  19. wicked cool!
  20. Duymon is selling some on his sales thread. He's a top-notch seller btw.
  21. the heads are swappable between fighter variants... but I believe the necks are extended for battroid mode and compressed for fighter... but I've never built the VF-0 Battroid, so grain of salt.
  22. I think he wants to see how out-of-proportion a 1/60 VF-17/171 would be next to a 1/72 VF, since it doesn't look like we're going to get a VF-Nightmare in 1/72 anytime soon I'm interested to know as well.
  23. yes, but then I'd have to go to the expense of building a shrine to put it in
  24. thanks for the birthday gift disney! [opens the day after my birthday] I can't wait! now back into my obi-wan-esque isolation from other 'news' [read: potential spoilers] about this film.
