I just snagged a pre-order at Amiami for both the VE-1 and the VF-1A Super... if anyone is still hunting give them a check.
  2. fairly early in the show's run if I recall correctly... I do recall it sitting at the top of my grail-kit list for some time.

said my wallet... Your ghost kits were great, please make a 1/72 kit of this... I'm already drooling waiting for your 1/72 MTR VF-1 mods to be completed...
  4. your turkey has delusions of grandeur sir...
  5. They likely think that BSG or SW invented giant capital ships... knowledge be the power, but ignorance is bliss
  6. They couldn't have waited until July for us Canucks?!
  7. That thought bodes well for those waiting on Chuck's AWAC/EWAC version...
  8. I hope so! wow, it's been a while since I've been this jazzed by a turn-off the brain and eat popcorn movie... I don't remember much about the game other than it was super fun... many dollars lost to the local arcade.

Had a similar issue with my cleaners. it was all minor stuff, no damage or anything. My issue was cleaners entering my hobby room while a project was in-progress and "assuming things were junk/garbage/mess"............. and the issue was mostly solved when I mounted a Broadsword under an "Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here!" sign on the door... all of a sudden they didn't seem to want to touch that door... then one day they let the cat escape*.................... VERY angry words were had, employees terminated, and I haven't had an issue since. My commiserations with your troubles, hope you find a solution that doesn't involve cracking heads, metaphorically [or otherwise]. Personally I like the "send them a bill" idea, only you should draw up 2 versions: A) what repairing a lost/damaged part would cost B) what replacing a toy you couldn't get spare parts for would cost they may be "cool transformers toys"... but the cost [and other value to us super-dimension-heads] is no joke.
  10. The entire scientific and industrial might of the UN was focused on this project, and the defence thereof. 9 years and change for a city like that considering the global devastation wreaked when Macross made planetfall isn't TOO crazy... Tidal waves and droughts would mean alot of ppl willing to move and work for food, shelter and safety. And the City was so big that despite the Interstellar war breaking out, 40,000 civilians and change survived being accidentally spaced by the SDF-1's emergency fold... Going by the screen grabs that's a city of a couple Million...

So I caved and Purchased a Max/Milia HMR set........................................ Deep goes this rabbit-hole! I'm going to end up with an VE-1 [Battroid VE-1!] and a VT-1... the VF-2SS is very tempting... If they break into Macross7 or Frontier I'm gonna be in trouble.

The blurb is so awesome, I'ma be VERY disappointed if they fix the typos before I get a hold of mine!
  13. I wasn't sure how much you could improve on the Tiger... but WOW! she looks incredible so far ZOmBe! I love the chin pods... reminds me of the BUFF, only slim and trim like a fighter should be... and the asymmetry is also a nice touch. Can't wait to see it all gussied up with some paint and livery.
  14. there may be a fair number of folks who were halfway to a complete set?
  15. I'm always afraid of the day I hear of an unfortunate oscillation that resulted in the boom impaling whatever bird was hooked to it... refueling a B-2, B-1 or a BUFF by boom must result in an acute case of "enlarged metallic cojones"
  16. How Giant?
  17. Black lining on white paint looks VERY stark, and anime-ish. I use browns/greys on white mostly. if it's an off-white, I'll darken as I need. I use Flory models Clay/water-based washes, so they're pretty easy to mix.
  18. Preferred entry speed for Pugachev's Cobra is between 250-300 knots if I recall, so the ~500km indicated on the backflip makes sense; if you high-alpha-depart or cobra at high enough speed you'll fold the wings even on a Sukhoi. I wonder if you can get into "post stall maneuvering" if you, you know, stall instead of depart the aircraft...
  19. The global population's age distribution would also have become very skewed after the Unification wars if they were at all as devastating as they're supposed to be.
  20. I wonder how long that pilot has been riding hornets... certainly knows it inside and out. Very impressive! Edit>> Same YouTube Chanel; check out the final approach after this Rafael demo... BALLSY!

I have a moderate amount of experience with them, but mostly for models. Pre-orders have gone very smoothly for me with them*, and other than international-post border delays [welcome to Canada sometimes] I've had no issues with shipping. I suggest you send them an email enquiry. I've had no issues communicating with them in English. *I have had one issue where I missed a payment request for a pre-order [*&$!% spam folder], and only realised when they sent me the "red envelope" email, which I was unable to respond to for an extended period. One email later and they seemed more than willing to solve the issue and leave me willing to return to them for future business.
  22. Lots of that going around these days
  23. Nice! score another for Bandai lol
