  1. you have networked lights? Fascinating...
  2. this is why we can't have nice things...
  3. you brought Skynet into your own home?!?!
  4. Affecting the actual Trademark status in Canada? I don't think HG has ever sued anyone in a Canadian jurisdiction in order to specifically establish it, so it's most likely we'd say 'No Comment' and try as hard as we could not to get involved so we didn't piss off either side of it politically. If it came to it, I would've said we'd side with the USA because of course we would. but now with the TPP and NAFTA... Unless the USA decides to leave NAFTA I suspect Canada would side with US Jurisprudence in any sort of trademark issue, since it was signed first. Would be interesting to see though.
  5. Gotta test it someplace... see how they hold up under operational conditions and sortie tempo if nothing else. see how гопник-proof they are compared to a regular Flanker. Might as well be in an active combat zone where the AA threat has been reduced to civilians hurling rocks and the occasional random-MANPAD...
  6. *extremely childish glee-scream*YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! my basement will end up full of B-wings... Mine and my Roomie's fav. Starwars fighter!
  7. According to ANN: fascinating.
  8. Apparently the VF-22S is also up for re-issue by Hasegawa.
  9. 1/72 MBR-04-Mk.VI Tomahawk 1/72 SDR-04-MkXII Phalanx are up for reserve on HS, they're also up on HLJ Here's hoping the ADR-04-Mk.X Defender also gets a repop...
  10. also the VE-11
  11. Best answer. You win! That art of the flight-gear shuts me right up. Either option, though I do prefer the, presumably, 2019 'in-service' one.
  12. The following is a bit of dark humor, if your not into that, don't click

just paid for mine as well. I haven't seen a stand mentioned. guess we'll find out soon, eh?
  15. I see where you're at WM... I think the general look issue could be much improved by lengthening the neck behind the canards by a mm or 2... that seems the biggest proportion issue to my eye. I have 5 on pre-order so I have a spare to try it... but I'm reticent to cut up even a 'close' VF-4... anyone have any suggestions to go about a neck job? I should also have a resin one around here somewhere... *scrooge Mcduck dive into kitstash*... not sure where it's at... I'll definitely be comparing the two once the Waves arrive. if Hase ever kit the VF-4, I'll call these A models, and Hase's inevitably sleeker interpretation Gs or something.
  16. I support your "enhanced" Macross-combat reeducation programme!
  17. My inner Trekkie is desperate for a better explanation than 2x MagLites... but you're probably correct given the other evidence in the show on a similar note: I've always wondered what the underbite on the FB2012 helmet is for? locking it into a wall rack for storage?
  18. yea... so from the front Gamlin's is pretty bad... maybe those are self-contained life-support systems in the helmet? I stand by my [admittedly assailable] assertion about the FB-2012 helmet though... It reminds me of a Polo Helmet: *almost DYR:L? colours too!* ...and I don't like it. Personal tastes...

Winup Scale Models on Shapeways offers one in multiple scales: 1/8000, 1/10,000, and 1/20,000... I'm sorely tempted to get one...
  20. Oh good... the first thought that flashed through my mind was this
  21. as much as I would love an accurate FB2012 pilot... that's THE UGLIEST helmet in all of Macross. No huge loss to me as long as they include a pilot in some sort of UN SPACY gear*... *Normally this is where I would lay-in to Hasegawa, but their 1/72 not-SDFM/M0 recent releases have all included pilots, so they get a pass as long as they keep it up.
  22. Is that supposed to be the concept version of NCC-1701C?
  23. waiting on the VF-0C re-release...
  24. I'm hoping Arcadia Release it as a kit... that'll at least take the edge off enough that I can justify getting one.

    Hasegawa VF-31

Oh Hasegawa, don't ever change: That's an interesting next thing to have coming out in 1/72...
