  1. One does not "put" Nobunaga someplace... he gets himself appointed Feudal-Lord of your Man-Cave, then plots to overthrow you and become shogun of your entire house!!

1>> because demand is a fickle thing sometimes... but if they've got a production schedule laid-out for 1 or 2 years already, then I can see why there's no rush 2>>on Transformable toys? they're certainly the biggest name in the game...

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Ship via the post, you never get lucky with a courier service...
  8. newest announcement following the YF-19 or VF-1J maybe?? Otherwise that line would lead to thoughts of "21"(after 19 and 1) sure looks like a VF-4 tailfin... any other Black/Red Skull Squadron tail design that's got a red horizontal stripe?
  9. I always wondered if the 1/48 line was pushing it... would be nice to get a YF-21 to go with the '19 though!
  10. Well, this was Wave's 1/100 offering's Gear: *photo Courtesy the Starship Modeler Store
  11. maybe that really is an issue? If two companies make a version of the same product... what're the legalities on similarity/differences?
  12. "What a piece of JUNK!" She looks Wonderful @arbit!
  13. I'll never understand people who display aircraft with their gear-out as standard.... if anyone really IS thrown-off by the gear let me know, and I'll relive you of your eye-sore! LOL

So build them a computer system and get some technical assistance/wind-tunnel time in exchange Or ensure you're the one they call to fix their comp/network issues On the face of it that does seem like a transferable skill-set though, considering all the computing that goes into modern aircraft design... on the point of the '31s weak-winged gerwalk: They make a pretty succinct point from SDF:M-on about how Gerwalk mode has severe flight limitations [like airspeed] in exchange for a short-takeoff and >stall speed flight capability: like circling a crash at low-speed for an assessment, probably easier to hover-around in Gerwalk than Battroid. My Tactical understanding is that the only time you should pop your Gerwalk-mode in-atmo and at speed is when you're literally reversing your thrust-direction to "slam on the brakes" Then there's the issue of the tech level underlying the design/engineering of the birds themselves... these things aren't built out of anything as mundane as 6061-Aluminum.... I assume the energy-conversion-armour is incorporated/activated for structural rigidity in Gerwalk
  15. Very Interesting. I can't wait to see more!

I agree with your assessment of insectoid trends... I think as our technologies advance, we're going to see more and more direct imitations of nature present themselves in all of our techno-constructs. the super-clean-robot-look is likely gone forever... along with variable-sweep wings.
  17. I think the underlying metallics have played through the blue layer to create that semi-metallic sheen... it really is a gorgeous effect, isn't it!?
  18. it's certainly shaping up to be a beautiful build. DuPont you say? is it out of a rattle-can? what kind of paint is it, acrylic?
  19. If you'd like to show off your model, you should start your own thread! Strut Your Stuff!!
  20. .. I know Bandais plastics are weird about thinners, so grain of salt here: get a really thin mix of your primary hull colour [like 95% thinner], and spray that over the whole model like a clearcoat, but go extremely light. this will act as a filter and "unify" or "blend" the colours of the model... there's a proper model-building term for said process, but it escapes me at the moment... They'll pop less without actually darkening them. another option that would darken [the whole ship, not just the decals] would be the above process using "Tamiya smoke" or something similar. PS: also, it looks like you havn't done the requisite "make it look like the piece of junk Luke said it was" weathering that the falcon typically gets... weather it and see if they're still popping too much for you. If you use products like Flory's washes, then you can kill two mynocks with one procedure... it will act as a filter just by the nature of the stuff and how you use it.
  21. No good deed, eh?
