I'm kind of shocked that the Gerwalk mode is the prominent feature-art on the box... I'm not complaining, just surprised they didn't go with fighter-mode...

MY Yammie YF-19 just got her Superpack/Fold booster upgrade. Its the first time I've touched her since getting her into a nice tight Fighter mode after she arrived [Purchased used+transformed] For V2 Yamato I've got a Roy VF-1S, Hikaru VF-1A, Max VF-1A, and two VF-1A CFs. Roy, Max and Hikaru have been in fighter mode since I got them, but the two CFs have been transformed to each mode; one is currently in VSTOL mode, the other is back in Fighter. This one got swooshed around a lot until I broke down and started collecting HMR... now she sits there as much as the rest. Still need a Kakizaki... [All DYRL, all purchased used+transformed, Roy has Cracked Shoulders] My VF-31C has been transformed once just to tighten-up fighter mode, and I waited for her Superpacks to arrive so I could apply them at the same time. She gets swooshed about regularly, but hasn't been transformed since However my HMR get transformed and messed with all the time

can we amalgamate the VF-31 Siegfrieds in to one boxing already? like the VF-1 A/J/S?? Further Super and Armour versions of said VF-31 J/C/F/S/E reboxing??? [they can keep the Kairos-31A as separate, I already have 4...] Come on Hasegawa, you know we'll buy them!! you get you bump your price-per-kit because of all the extra decals/plastic options, we get lots of leftover parts and decals for scratchbuilding/moding, and we can stop pestering you about it all and just be happy/content customers! Where's the Chuck-31E and Qassim-262??? Whenever we get Chuck's-31E they'd better include the option for Stowing and/or Opening the Ray-dome......... Come on, let's make it happen! I know most of the western audience feels Delta was amongst the weakest Macross series, but WE SEEM TO LOVE THE VALKS!!!! [I know I do]

I think that's the standard 1/20 figure kit box from MaxFactory... I don't own any, but I think they're all like that. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10556105 Item Size/Weight : 29.8 x 21.2 x 3.1 cm / 185g- 1147 replies

can't be sure, but it would make sense to do multiple runs in different colours to maximise the ROE on the moulds/R&D costs

I'm in the same boat as I only own a DX '31C+Supers... I'm gonna resist as long as I can, but unless they make a '31C color-ver. picking up a '31S+Armour is in my wallet's future... [I'm betting that Check's '31E will be hard to come by for a long while because of it's sweet, sweet Ray-dome action] maybe Hasegawa will come out with Super and Armour versions by then and save me a boat-load of money

Things to Consider: Macross is a far more Niche market than, for example, Gundam. One of the reasons DX releases seem to sell-out like hotcakes is that they are limited release, expensive collector's pieces, which results in a relative [though likely not objectively] high demand [ie: within the Macross community the demand is high, but John-Q-Public says "oh, cool jet fighter that transforms... but for $200?"] Bandai's production schedule is likely set for the next, say, 12 months out from any given time. So there's a lag between when something they release gets unexpectedly hot, and when they can produce a thing to capitalize on it. [I'm making assumptions as Bandai are a HUGE corporation with a lot of Franchises to juggle.] What's the condition of the Super-pack moulds? do they need repair/replacement? [extra time and money] Lots of potential reasons to speculate on.

Yes, Variable-sweep implementation is maintenance-intensive... on the other hand what other US fighter of the day could do this: also on the topic of F-15 v F-14: YES, the Tomcat can gun-down the eagle. Anytime, Baby!

I've got three 'Furys in the stash... and one from like, 2005 that needs alot of repair from a move. eventually I'll be posting pics of them, but this one's going back in her box for a bit. I think I'll just leave the raised lines on the other two... maybe if I'm satisfied with my results I'll cast the Upper/lower-wing parts so I don't have to do it 3 more times! lol This really is a bigger project/pain than I thought it would be... The compound curves around the engine nacelles... I get the sweats just looking at it as far as thicker panel-lines... that's a quandary... the only answer I can conjur is to go deeper [thus making a wider V shape trench in the material], then fill the bottom of the trench with thin CA ... which in theory would result in a more DX-like panel-line... But there's obvious impracticalities to that... I'm wondering if a proper Graver [like an engraver would use] would be an option... it would involve grinding the cutting face to the exact shape/size you need, but other than that I can't think of a way to get thicker lines that would still cut smoothly and controllably through the plastic... another difference is that you push a graver, and pull a scriber...

Are you going to increase the Canard surface-area as well? or just live with it? I know they're different sizes between the Kairos and Sigfried on the Hase kits, but I'm not sure the size difference is enough to warrant going to the trouble of making new Canards... as far as Scribing panel lines goes: label-maker tape [that thick, black plastic strip stuff] is the most useful, and re-positionable, straight-edge you'll find. go light, and make several even passes until you're happy with your result. If you mess up a line do not worry! You can just fill-in the place where you mucked-it with Superglue, let it dry, sand it flat and do it over. do you have a dedicated scribing tool? or are you using the good-old "reverse #11 blade" trick? I'm currently re-scribing a Starfury from Babylon 5... I may have written a cheque that my dilapidated skills can't cash... put it aside and come back to her after I've had more practice lol. edit: Oops! Forgot to mention that she's a sweet conversion!

maybe, I'm just spit-balling because I'm aware of how clean they like the 'Disney' brand's nose to stay. Time shall tell.

Could happen, but it's still "Disney Streaming Service"... i can't immagine the blood, gore, and militarism of Starship Troopers blatantly underneath a Disney banner... Time will tell though... all I know is I ain't paying for it... at least not yet... they're Disney, they'll win in the end I'm sure.
