    evilcat. i saw two people manning your booth at nycc (was in rush so couldnt say hi because my freind had to go somewhere soon). there was a guy and a girl? anyway the prototype looked nice. i was surprised it was just the all grey prototype though. figured it'd be a painted or closer to production release version. either way, it looks ogod. can't wait!

    not sure why they are bothering to show diecast content there. that isn't a lot. the toy will not feel "old school" in hand just with that much. it looks as if they just added it to selective parts...probably for weight distribution and also for a little blin gin some areas. die cast makes me worry as much as it makes me excited because it can be done well or go horribly wrong. with that small amount though it deosn't do much for me one way or the other..unless it improves balane that much. eithe rawy, i'm thinking of cancelling star brick anyway. the lack of nostalgia factor for me is a big deal for me and TFs.

    bbts was out this morning when i made up my mind! well out for the double pack whic his what i want (i want the bonus). i ended up using timewalker toys. they had a $20 discount over ss or bbts plus free shipping via ups ground. feedback on that store seems relatively positive so i trust them. i just realized that chewbacca is gonna be too tall to fit in a detolf comfortably. lol.

    nah they nailed it. you are remembering an older better looking ford. harrison ford looked a little odd when he was younger...go watch the original star wars again. i think they nailed it. i don't collect 1/6 (well i have a couple things and few more but in general to expsneive and too many things) but this looks awesome. kinda wondering what the best place to order from is. haha

    while i don't have an SV-51 anymore, i was wondering - do you plan on selling extra arms separately? it'd b nice to get some additional height etc with some poses. Also...everybody else...great shots! i've only just set mine up in static hovering type pose (sort of like a harrier might do) for a vf-25G with super pack. holds fine. i did need to use a wrench and an allen key to get teh sufficeint tightness on the joints but i kind of expected that would be the case anyway.

    Seeing all the attention to playabiility n star saber is a bittersweet. its frustrating because they obviously didn't spend 1/2 as much effort on magnus, but i guess it makes for a cooler SS toy. i don't have any nostalgia for it, though ti does remind me of a lot of other 80s style mecha (mostly pre TF believe it or not).

    i think that is the way it is too (and should be), as that is what is done with the other mp cars (and for the most part to mp-10 convoy as well on the TT version). i think minimally there will be clearcoat over white plastic but i think it'd be better to go with white semigloss paint to match the finish on the sideswipe, prowl etc.

    can you show us a clear picture of just the affected piece (pieces?)? i'd rather not have to use the printed abs like piece as i'm sure it won't be crystal clear like the acrylic (and for me that ruins the ENTIRE point of these stands for me), so i want to see what piece i'd have to now sand. a pic of the piece you sanded vs. an unsanded one would help. thanks.

    yeah i love BttF but i think i may bow out at 1K for both marty and the delorean together...cancelling marty preorder in 3, 2... was hoping it'd be closer to the tumbler in price.

    that thing is awesome but gonna be pricey...relaly price i think. imean its a polystone statue that is like 18 or so inches tall i think? an dfrom max factory.

    modern transformers are the way they are now for a few reasons. hasbro figured out that people want an action figure as much as they want a transformer. Rather than look good in two modes, peopel wanted a figure they coudl act out their cartoon fantasies wtih. i mean its not like the idea of ball joints and cost reduction is a new thing!! That is something G1 toys were never very good at with their limited articulation. overall the G1 line from 84-85 was very good. optimus, jetfire (of course i'd mention him on a macross board!!), shockwave, soundwave, sunstreaker, mirage, hound (did not have him but he was nice), sideswipe, perceptor (had the pre tf version), the dinobots (all of them but swoop were pretty damn decent), tracks. i do think its an overstatement to say nothing on the toy shelves nowadays can compete. taking aside all bias for G1...there are some great figures out there in the past few years. they may be few and far between but....you'd be hard pressed to find better examples of transformers (nevermind your stanceon the aesthetics) than TF Prime first edition optimus or bulkhead, ROTF LEader prime, TF Prime RiD vehicon (just damn awesome with that transformation!!), and some of the generations toys like RTS Jazz, wreck gar, tracks. that being said there are many many stinkers. there slawys have been though (most g1 minibots sucked as did ratchet, ironhide, and the 86 and on toys).

    i kinda wonder if HG/Toynami will see this D-Style SDF-1 and do what they did with that GORAION (go lion) product....make it official and release it stateside (yes it IS coming)

    omg...do want so bad. does lunar have a brick and mortar storefront? he's from nyc area if i remember correctly, no? let's hope he can do better than whatever $99 plus shipping from RK is going to be. this is soooo bought! like twice over. wonder whats the size in hieght of bot mode and length of cruiser mode

    yup vf-0 has always been huge..a 1/60 vf-0 is about as big as a 1/48 vf-1.

    they just have to pay up to the local and regional organized crime/extortionists...i mean...party officials. there is nothing complicated about it unless you do something very pubically against them or if their is some agenda against you. pretty much everyone who has any amount of success in china - their hands are a bit dirty.

    the proportions look good. hopefully this is just a proof of concept prototype, not anything close to final. needs a lot more molded detail
