    is it me or is the heatshield way more segmented than the earlier version (note i know its supposed to be segmented, just seems more obvious) or is it the grey proto plastic emphaziing it? tha said...i thin k the VF-0S is one of the best looking valkyrie designs ever.

    because when the only VF-1 valks you released feel naked weithout SSP...you release SSP separately or fans will mutiny! i miss th edays of $35 SSP. lol

    i believe the only difference was the lack of tampo "1" on second release and the use of new 1J base figures vs. old 1J figures with the weak shoulders with the new head (hence the whites also mismatched a touch too). the actual armor is the same except for the tampo I think. you might want to verify by checking anymoon.com he has all that kind of detail on there i believe.

    i wonder if the "1" is tampo'd on this time. the bad release (reused old 1J's with bad shoulders) had it tampo'd. the good release (i have one) doesn't have it but had stickers if you wanted to put it on. i'll admit i kinda wish mine has a 1 tampo'd/painted on. i've got this preordered anyhow so i guess i'll have one wiht and one without.

    ok that didn't take long....i'm in. the artwork on the boxes is nice for a change too. aside from the vf-1, the vf-0 really is my favorite series of valks...the vf-1 only wins i think due to nostalgia advantage and being the first. OT: that orguss looks nice but IIRC the price is insane right? or is that another one?

    gah...do i love macross zero enough to replace my vf-0s and vf-0a? (mine is an unknown soldier release, the S is the first reissue i beleive...one of my EARLY yamato purchases) if they are planning on doing armor its a must, if not....not sure but these do look awesome...how much more awesome i've not decided yet.

    hmm...spendy i guess. still wonder how much. fitor would still be a buy just necause he is awesome. leader 1 and turbo would be a consideration. i don't own any fewture stuf except the ES gokin roadbuster.....which is a SD version that does transform. pretty nice but not the best engineering. wasn't too spendy..maybe 50 bucks when i got it? i know they just released those brick like non transforming optius and grimlock too.

    these are by art storm or someone else who gets licenses? the cykill doesn't look as good as the third party (unique toys salamoore) one even if it is truer to the source material in both bot and alt modes. no complaints about how leader 1's alt mode isn't a real f-15 but is 80% of the way there? i like the bot mode ...very mechy. turbo's alt mode is pure fantasy so i suppose its ok fitor (i think thats his name) looks awesome...way better than that one that came out a few years ago.

    sounds like a horrible idea. dilution of mp line... i mean why make it look exactly like the japanese g1 and then give it a mismatched bio. meh. doens' tmatter to me i guess...skipping clown bot

    damn haven't even built the 1/72 bandai x wing kit yet and they drop a 1/48 on us...so tempting. it looks good

    before i attempt to try this....anyone able to fit a "formation" (diamond or otherwise) or V2 VF-1 valks in a detolf cube? If so, how many valks is doable? Is 4 doable? kinda wondering what configs people are using.

    nice job david. i like the way panel lining looks on darker valks like that. for some reason i'm not a fan of it on white/off white valks as much.

    you don't think the devilstar one is pretty close? i mean airburst is off...but i think the devilstar shuttle mode looks pretty good especailly condsering it has to also turn into a robot and a train.

    not sure why all the hate. i get the head is too small and the right shoulder/torso treads should be green (please fix this takara like you are used to making the better release lol) and not purple. also someone needs to give devy a shoe upgrade to mixmaster...but otherwise...its very G1-ish. more so that titan metroplex in fact. for a mass market non 3P release...its seems good. if they fix the purple treads (hue sticking point for me) i'll get it. if hasbro doens't do that i'm confident takara will.

    i notice you put the shin flaps angled instead of the official transformation. i do that too! looks more magnussy to me that way.

    those badcube insecticons gonna replace my FP ones. who wants em hehe? if TT stopped doing MPs it seems badcube and FansToys and a few others could carry the torch quite well. lol. i hope TT never stops making them though. its nice to have an offical "template" for style and scale as well as 1st party prices and jp retailer discounts!! Re: Make toys "Re:Master" series. Its unclear whether those are MP scale or not as the text says "and maybe a new scale". new to them? or new entirely? also MP scale...but MP (retro g1) style or MP/FP sylized versions? its surely an exciting time to be into G1 TF MPs. getting refelctor and the insecticons will sooooo help fill out the mp cons shelf (in fact it completes season 1 along with xtb's apollyon megatron homage).

    he looks better with his front spoiler untransformed (like the g1 toy)...doens't have such a tiny waist that way. i think it looks great like that. i do like the look of mmc's as well.

    i actually think tracks is a good choice for...takara tomy they cannot just do all the heavy hitters and super popular characters first. for example if we already had megatron and galvatron already lots of people would buy them and call it quits! at that point trying to get people to buy minor characters is gonna be a bummer. same idea...if we had the entire ark crew already....lots of people...would quit. giving us tracks....he is a marketable sports car (corvette...and a classic stingray model at that!) an important enough character (at least people rmember 1 or 2 tracks centric episodes) and has one built in repaint ( i mean who doesn't love a red corvette?). it makes total sense for them. that being said....as aging collectors kinda want to have a complete set of "core" characters ASAP. lol

    well people on tfw LOVE their brawn..much higher quality than huff as far they are concerned. i've not hanlded it but their warpath...looks amazing. he is carbot height n robot mode and longer than mp-10's cab in alt mode...kinda cool size i guess though probably would have preferred a smaller size i'm good with wht they picked. i do think it is touch "updated" for MP but close enough...just depnds ow detailed yoru imagination was a sa kid i guess. lol. anyway i'll be getting it most likely.
