thats good....have so many vaders already (SHF, BS, both Mafexes)...can this be the definitive one? Ragnarock Thor ...does his helmet come off? its a cool look but not as a "definitive" short hair version thor. haha. think the marvel legends 2 pack is the only one out.

is the V2 vader any taller? that was my biggest complaint with the old one...too small. david prowse was 6'6"...he should tower over kenobi who was an even 6'. Oh and V1 hulkbuster just looks way cooler than the V2 for some reason... for hulk i still prefer the figma... what we really need is a decent short haired thor

wow TBH this came out better than i expected even if it does take a while to get used to pastel coloring. its great! kind of regret not keeping my PO but i also kinda like have 6 bills more in the bank. happy for all you guys this release seems "worth it"! it really does make this mould pop. i don't trust myself enough with paints to do it myself either. lol. i only hope this release will fund/encourage arcadia to do a sdfm SDF-1 some day. i love dyrl but i didn't see it until almost high school (as clash of the bioniods no less ...the first time!) ...sdfm is the macross of my youth and i'd probably splurge to get it if it were made. Anyway glad they did this and that people seem to be enjoying theirs!

so i haven't been super following this. is this essentially a "retool" of the vf-19 advance with a few slight changes, a redeco, or an "all new" vf-19. i'm glad i already have the arcadia a couple times over but there is something appealing about the more toyetic feel of DX chogokins in hand (although i generally prefer arcadia's treatment for looks and everything else other than feel and price!). FWIW i sold my advance without even opening it....a purchase here might mean i regret doing that. haha

i immediately knew this was thunder hummer based when i saw it but seeing it side by side in the same post, the really did make a LOT of changes. The overall aesthetic is a little more "flat" looking or streamlined depending how you look at it. In the 1/60 scale i would like to see them add a bit more detail...perhaps inspired by the original custom...or something original inspired by that aesthetic. anyway the whole idea of 3P macross is exciting to me. not only can they make stuff like this which i'm sure some have pined for but maybe the can do some other original designs as well...designs that will "fit" in the macross universe but are not constrained too much by it. For instance new styled fastpacks /strike cannons (well these already have those), armaments, original armors, support vehicles...maybe even original (aka non canon) destroids, valks, or other transforming vehicles . dream BIG! ahha

1/60 is tempting....will depend on price. i'd like to support 3P macross add ons BUT gotta be "worth it" aka a good value as they aren't "must haves" for me. gotta be less than the stand alone yamato GBP-1S was (as a closest comparison). fext...you seem to have a good thing going (if interest here is representative of other macross fans)....don't screw the pooch!

For information purposes here.... So, I almost feel guilty about my turn of luck...i didn't order 10/6 like some here still waiting.... NY sent me an email saying they shipped. i was surprised and happy, then almost felt guilty because i know some 10/6 order people are still waiting. hobby collecting shouldn't be this way. Whether Bandai and or NY is to blame I don't know. hopefully everything arrives ok and that they keep shipping all your orders out...even if it is a trickle. this is my favorite modern valk design since the VF-25S in frontier so yes....i really wanted this!

with all the color issues (skywarp's hands, thundercracker's mismatched interior boob color, mismatching silvers of the main torso) in these two shots i wonder if they just photoshopped some pics of meteor before getting samples of these two and just did a sloppy job of it. i'm still waiting for someone....anyone to release a better headsculpt...face to helmet ratio is way off. hopefully somebody will get around to it. -
oh wow not being able to use them on existing preorders sucks....guess i'll let me preorders lapse and order it again. i might miss out on a figure or two but i could just get them in aftermarket (these aren't valks skyrocketing just other stuff)...better than having to find another 25k yen of stuff to spend on...

i have meteor and love it even though its a love/hate thing. maketoys got so much right with it but let me down in a few ways...much like most of their releases. also why black hands for skywarp...thats not OK. meanwhile i actually like the mp-11 seekers. my biggest issue with them is the cockpit top line is above the shoulder/chest/torso (well aside from the shoulder towers seekers have). on the fence on whether to have starscream different as the lone maektoys seeker or to buy all the seekers....again. unfortunately all i see when i see mp-11 seekers (which i just finished collecting all 6 of this year) now is the too high cockpit center area thats been there since mp-3. that being said i dont' know if i want to trouble selling all my old mp-11 based seekers or keeping them for their officalness and better jet mode. -
and this deserves to languish in clearance the way the first arcadia anniversary valk did. i bought that to "support arcadia"....5 years on i hope they are in good shape because i'm not buying this POS paint scheme.

seriously you guys are fast, but as soon as i saw stuff was selling out i hit preorder with the quickness. order in for a 101 and 102F, wanted the 000 like other people but its gone for now anyway. happy the price and shipping isn't ridiculous.

at 1/60 scale they need to up their game and make it look more accurate to that custom or something to differentiate it. for the moment seems its a simple upscale? at 1/100 scale they were/are just the about right

this set really does look great, just a bunch of money for it though most would rather spend on figures rather than backdrops....though these are really nice.

FWIW there will be a fast pack set. For those that already perordered the 1/72 VF-1 it'll be an additional ~$50 (total of ~$140 including shipping vs. projected MSRP or ~$170) It will have the UN Spacy kite logo (this is robotech not dyrl). they have not decided whether those that order both will get it "all in on box" gift set style or just packed in as another box in the shipment). oh the fast packs will have LED lights as per so far the one photo on their main website.
