i'm probably in the minority but i don't want to repeat my yamato/arcadia collection. its jsut too much to replace all of htem. also, i'm a bigger sdfm fan than dyrl. if i could just have a few it'd be this vf-1J (gbp 1s upgrade pack in teh future maybe?), Roy's VF-1S, and a VF-1D. Also would need super parts (and just throw in the strike cannon even if its not accurate lol) accessory set and teh aforementioned heavy armored accessories.. if bandai did their "hit list" below (as copy pasted from above in previous posts), that'd be fine too but...i really love the 1D design so i'd miss that. nano set is just the weapons dang. cost about 3X what it should. i see it at NY for 9900yen. its begging for a "3P" version with added floating blasters because that was the coolest nano weapon for sure. if it inlcuded anotehr mark50 with the weapons set it'd be wroth the 9900....almost. SHF TWE is pricing me out....first thor...now this. i mean i can get a whoel hi metal r super osrich for less than a thor. engineering involved and production costs isn't even close IMO. SHF is such a high profit line.

the thor looks great but...cmon..one head? also i'm betting an avengers 4 thor will be made in a year (and look even better)...bad bet or no? haha

actually now that i look at it again it reminds me of the "code:hardcore" mech...a kickstarter backed 2D game. actually bottom of this page shows a proto...originally gonna be released in 2017. this thunderbolt design shown at showz website is either that, a ko, or inspired by that. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1609568567/code-hardcore-the-coolest-2d-mecha-battle-game

No, but yamato did quite a while ago. yamato was arcadia's prior incarnation of sorts. i mean arcadia has been around at least 5 or so years (time flies!) so those yamato valks are pretty old releases but very good if you can track them down for ~$300 or so (thats what i feel like they are worth each personally though everyone's probably got a different opinion on that).

i don't see no clearance sale! haha. and the miss macross costume is uh...not about macross anymore haha. i try not to dip my toe into that end of the collecting spectrum although when iw as really into frontier i did buy a sheryl figure or two...crap still need to sell that off. haha

yeah they can't do the dyrl concert outfit but they could have done the red dress we see her in when we first meet her in macross city which i think is iconic because of the vf-1D scene or the chinese dress of course.

yes IMO but there are pros and cons to this. pros: cheaper and more tampo cons: i never think bandai's sculpting or molding is as well done aesthetically and the material is usually overly glossy, more toyish. i didn't jump on the bandai yf-19dx and elected to keep the arcadia yf-19 because IMO it still looks better in all modes. that being said if they do a good job i might pick up an vf-11b dx chogokin and a yf-21 dx chogokin to complete the trio if they someday do them...maybe. yamato's efforts for those two valks were truly ahead of their time and still stand up though....and i suspect they'd still look better than something bandai would put out in this era.

somehow i missed it came with a mini minmei doll accessory...that might make it a buy. lol. i wish they had picked a different outfit for the main figure though.

looks like they KO the old fashioned way...reverse engineer from ground up and make whatever changes they feel like (like lionbot! haha). the sculpting is clearly different. wonder if they are using the same nose/jaws on the red and green to save money. the red and green are different on the SOC. note the straight edges jaw on the FJ green vs the round on the SOC. The SOC does have that stule jaw on the red lion though. teeth placment is also different (as are eyes, headshape etc.). still if i missed out on the SOC i'd probably be buying the FJ. bbts had the cajones to list the SOC again last night for $450 (wasn't retail $300ish? yeah i know $450 better htan $800 lol)...as a preorder for september. held back or newly found stock at bluefin?

check out ther fb page, i think they are working on a display system. part of it is build out of the components you get from the HMR scaled release. i don't think all of it is though.

i can't tell if they are gonna be all grey or white and grey? full set under 80 bucks. looks like a winner. almost wish i didn't buy 3 sets of the 1/100 because the 1/60 set seems s better value to me. haha. which set to get (if not getting both)? hmmm... too bad there in's ta 1/60 hangar/display system ahha

that kitz concept vf-1s is licensed. its a robotech license but still licensed....i don't think show z store is implying there is a ko of it right?

lots of things i like and lots of things i don't on the new legioss. i still think the proportions look odd in both modes. i do like the shorter rear feet/thrusters as compared to every other transforming legioss ever (maybe the gakken was as short proportinally?) . empty shoulders are a big minus. the head is also gigantic. its not supposed to be that big. the whole thing is blocky and stocky which i like...but its too much so. the legs are too short. the cockpit in fighter mode is too bulbous and the rear of it meats the fuselage in an odd way. i guess for me the deciding factor will be whether it handles well and feels good. i don't think anything since the large gakken can claim to have done that (CMs wasn't a nightmare to handle like toynami but it was too flimsy feeling and stuff didn't line up right in hand). i've not yet hanlded the evolution toys one but all reports say its pretty to look at but not so great in hand (but i'm getting those as anyway because presence is nice. zeta is in my private warehouse iota is orderde ..still need to chase down the eta somewhere if anyone has one to sell at reasonable price! haha) so i'm crossing my fingers on this sentinel one.

to be honest i'm surprised how not well the vt-1 is doing. it even went on sale at NY (though that seems over and i am kicking myself so i probably won't pick up a second one but haven't rule dit out). maybe its the color mismatch and to be honest....the wrong color. yamato's was closer (still off but much better) and i really hope arcadia does a vt-1 reissue at a reasonable price because i never got around to the yamato one because...shoulders. one of the few yamato valks i wanted but never got.

yeah starting with megatron they did animation version as first or main version, then mp-36+ will be a toy inspired version, opposite of how they did red alert etc. too bad there is no "best of" version anymore. yeah i don't want white thighs just like i don't want superman with blue hair... i could do with toy chrome though (especially if they went yellow eyes)....silver/grey would be best though. pretty much i'd like takara mp-10 coloration with grey thights replaced with silver or maybe metallic anthracite, also hasbro or YOTH style blue eyes, not TT "dead eyes". -
