    My bad. Admittedly, I've never seen a PCC in person, but they look much bigger in the pictures than they really are.

    Power core combiners. Basically a voyager as the torso and four drones that don't have a robot mode, only "transformable" from vehicle mode into a limb. The limbs have next to no articulation due to the spring-loaded pseudo-automorph gimmick.

    They're supposed to be in Atlanta in the summer, which means it must be sweltering. The walkers should have rotted really quickly.

    Pretty good fan art, except the hips look kind of unnatural. That said, I wouldn't have been able to tell otherwise if you told me it was official art work. Nice!

    LOL, true! Actually, I got the gist of the story, about Haruhi possessing the ability to shape reality and all that. Thing is, the individual episodes kind of meandered, and I wasn't exactly crazy about the characters. But it wasn't like I had a choice. I had missed the first season when my local cable TV aired it, so I decided to give the second season a try and see what it was all about. I don't hate it by any means, and it was somewhat enjoyable, but just not really my cup of tea. The Disappearance of Haruhi was pretty good as a standalone show, though.

    These comics have aged pretty well if I do say so myself, judging from Pumyra's pic. The link doesn't work, but the idea of seeing Kit and Kat as older versions of themselves sounds interesting.

    Thanks, Old Nash. I remember hearing the name Lynx-O in the new series, but I just couldn't remember where. Pumyra's looking good in that pic.

    I only caught the second season of Haruhi, and well, I can't say I've become a fan. Just couldn't get into it. I also watched Tekken - Blood Vengeance recently [wonder if this counts as an anime]. If anything, I found it a lot more entertaining than RE - Degeneration. The story was rather pointless, even for a Tekken plot. Added nothing to the established universe of Tekken, and didn't really set anything up or explain any of the plot holes in the Tekken 6 game. That said, the fights scenes are top class, and the CGI is drool-worthy [to me, at least.] While the story isn't particularly good, it isn't bad either. On the bright side, it doesn't get in the way of the fights. Xiaoyu and Alisa both play their parts well as protag and otaku fodder respectively. Alisa has this saccharine cuteness and childlike innocence about her that just makes it hard for you not to like her. That is, until her attack mode is activated and she goes Freaky Jason on you with a pair of built-in chainsaws. As for Xiaoyu, she's not nearly as obsessed with Jin this time around, which makes her less annoying as she usually is in the games. Panda also makes an appearance here too, and adds to the comic relief. The English dub isn't as bad as I thought, surprisingly. Got some nice cameos here as well. All in all, its worth the watch..in a strictly eye candy, Micheal Bay film kind of way.

    Thanks for the heads up, David. Wait, wasn't Lynx-O that one-eyed tiger in the that flashback where the war stone was stolen? And am I mistaken in presuming Pumyra is that panther girl? Sounds like a girl's name.

    B-Squad? Been two decades since I last watched the original series; who are they? The only new addition I remember is a white tiger character named Bengali, sort of a Tigra clone with white fur.

    I see a couple of ways how this whole triangle thing can play out. Lion-O will probably meet another cat somewhere along the way and get his own love interest. Most likely scenario. Or, Tigra might become evil, or go missing or even get killed, leaving Lion-O and Cheetara to rekindle their affection. Not sure if a kid's show allows for the death of main support characters, though.

    When I first read that Cheetara chose Tigra, I was like, "WTF?! Flirting for 13 frigging episodes with the lion and you suddenly run off with the tiger?" Luckily, I had the chance to catch up on the earlier two episodes, which explained the past she shared with Tigra. In this case, I think Tigra deserves to be with Cheetara more than Lion-O. At least ol' Lion-O's got his sword and stones. ...that could have been phrased better.

    Yup, I thought as much. But seriously, a whole freaking season just for this? They could have wrapped things up in two episodes and moved on.

    Just ranting a bit here. I just bought DW7 - Xtreme Legends. Guess what? Those seven-year-old kids WERE right...in a way. With Extreme Legends, you only get to play Legends mode, which supposedly has no cutscenes [not sure if they meant no CG FMV cutscenes but with in-game ones, or just no cutscenes, period.] Hell, I;m not even sure if the individual characters have their own story arc in Legends mode! In order to play Story mode and Conquest mode, you have to buy the main DW7 game, and do a disc swap! In order to get the complete experience, you'll need the DW7 disc. Here I was, thinking I was getting the best of both worlds with Extreme Legends. There was supposed to be 3 new characters and dual language, and even the ability to use whichever character you wanted, which it did have, but at the expense of Story mode! From now on, it's either the main DW game or I'm skipping the game altogether. All this while I kept getting the impression that Extreme Legends was a more complete version of the main game, like MGS Substance and Subsistence were to their respective games. Rant complete. Now I'll have to go get me a copy of DW7.

    Ah, I see. BTW, why use matte clear? It dulls the original gloss of the toy, which IMO is accurate to the CG model's shiny surface...or are you shooting for a more realistic look?

    Oh wow! I am in awe of your skills, destroid. Wouldn't know where to even begin if I were to attempt making something like that. BTW, what is the EEV made of, if I may ask? You also mentioned batteries and a switch on the zip-drive base. What's it for? Light effects? Nice! Too bad I don't have an airbrush. Textures like these would look real sweet for any sci-fi diorama.

    Pardon my ignorance, but what's Tamiya dove clear coat? I've bought and used Tamiya's gloss, semi-gloss, and matte clear coat sprays before, but never heard of "dove."

    Just speculating here, but the way I see it, Daryl will probably put on an act of some kind in from of his brother and maybe leave with him to keep him away from the others. They way he'd bonding with everyone, it's not very likely he'll turn against them. ...unless Merle cooks up a story to get him on his side. I dunno, I'm just waiting to find out how it all gets resolved. Wha...? Sophia who?

    Yeah, even soldiers get R&R, and I'd like to think that they'd be considerate enough to allocate some Cybertronian-sized accommodations for the Autobots, so they can hang out between missions. The scenes in ROTF seem to show that the Autobots are expected to stay in alt mode and parked silently in that hangar until summoned. Notice how Optimus only transforms into his bot mode when he's asked to speak to General Morshower.

    Thanks for the heads-up. BTW, You wouldn't happen to know where I could watch Last Exile online, would you? It's a pretty old anime, and hard to track down.

    I'll wait for the RAY. Never played the original MGS before, and while I know about the REX, it's not as familiar to me as RAY. Plus, I like the RAY's organic design more.

    I've been watching Fam, but it seems like some of the backstory's lost to me. Not much is being explained so far; hell, I don't even know what an Exile is. Do I necessarily have to watch Last Exile in order to understand Fam?

    That's been bugging me for a long time. The humans treat Autobots like garbage, basically, and yet Prime puts up with it all through ROTF and DOTM. For someone who spouts, "freedom is the right of all sentient beings," he sure doesn't get much freedom himself, being forced into alt mode and locked up in a hangar at NEST.

    Really looking forward to seeing how Daryl deals with this "them and us" dilemma. Knowing Merle, he's probably going to call for a wholesale massacre of those he sees as responsible for leaving him on that rooftop.

    The inconsistent usage of light and dark plastic is a deal breaker. Nice concept with the stealth mode thing, but IMO not worth buying yet ANOTHER leader class Optimus. ROTF LC Optimus, Jetwings, and the DMK model kit are all I need.
