Or maybe Mirage is temporarily standing in for Mikumo while she's recovering from the ruins again. -

So Mirage is gettinga figure of her wearing a Walkure outfit: http://macross-matome.net/goods/7675/ Is this a spoiler or just fanservice? -
Actual release dates don't seem to show up until the product is pretty much ready with PLAMAX. The Pacific Rim kits they first showed prototypes off at the February 2015 Wonder Festival, and then at Summer 2015, then winter 2016, and only at summer 2016 event did we get a release date of December. The current information plaque for the VF-1 says 2017, without even narrowing it down to a season/quarter. So probably 2nd half of 2017 at this rate...

More cosplay and model https://twitter.com/Hisamelody/status/757158676901703680 Also I'm pretty sure that the 2nd line on the info plaque states that this isn't the final level of detail.

So it's mentioned that the Wind Singer first showed up 150 years ago. Maybe that was Mikumo? Might be why Roid is interested in her and her memories of singing in the stadium. -

Ok here's the allegedly fresh one Hayate and Freya lose the top spots to Kabaneri. Kaname rockets to the #7 stop. Noone else from Macross on there. EDIT: Animage shows the real triangle -

Animation magazines are usually around the 10th of the month, hobby magazines around the 25th. Subtract a few days from street date for crappy cell phone photo leaks. -

You keep saying Valan was cleaning up which is completely and utterly untrue. Blowing up the ruins HELPED Windemere, not hindered them. He didn't seem in any way phased by that. And after that he frakks off. Do we see him taking command of the defense? No. Do we see him concerned with anything but high short-sighted plan of blowing up the ruins? No. Do we see him taking responsibility afterwards? No. Do we see him actively leading the evacuation? No. It's just "got my data and bye lol" Stereotypical slimy higher up stereotypically makes the situation worse and stereotypically run away from the consequences. Unless we start next episode with Valan actually leading the escaped fleet and island, you're very much wrong about his competence. The likelier option is that we start next episode with the heroes mainly left to fend for themselves while maybe an episode later stereotypical slimy higher up is in a stereotypical dark room looking at a monitor with the report of the incident and getting an evil grin about how they can stereotypically make the situation even worse later by messing with the ruins again. I get that you're unhappy with the main cast not performing or developing in a better way, but there's zero reason to polish the Valan turd. -

When has the high command ever been portrayed as having the greater good in mind? The common theme has always been snooty officers acting in self-preservation (which is very, very different than "the greater good") while the plucky if occasionally incompetent heroes have to go over their heads to actually save the day. It would be amusing if Delta actually swayed from that 40+ years of mecha anime history, but really, really unlikely. -

I'm pretty sure you have that last part wrong. Slimey NUNS guys get his data, then orders his own ship to retreat. It's not until the Song of the Wind starts that the Island sends an SOS because of the Var, it's only then that Chaos is the one to order the evacuation of the civilians. The episode is very specific in Valan saying RETREAT and disappearing completely from the rest of the episode, while Chaos has to find a way to clean up his mess and actually EVACUATE the civilians. I really don't understand why some of you are sucking up to the NUNS guy. What you call his "competence" is clearly portrayed by the show as the same evil, selfish high rank military crap as the previous shows. -
By itself? At the touch of a button? At that scale and with modern RC servos it just might be doable...

The closes thing in size we have from Max Factory is the 1/12 scale Panzer IV, which was 14,800 yen. The 1/20 VF-1 would definitely be more, but probably not $500. 30,000 yen seems like a good upper limit. VF-1 will be almost twice as long but not twice the volume. Add the 3,000-ish yen 1/20 figure to fit with the price range of the rest of 1/20 figures they've released so far. 30k does "feel" about right, but it's still so early we have little to no information about how deep they'll be detailing it.

1/72 VF-1EX Valkyrie "Macross Delta" by Hasegawa
TMBounty_Hunter replied to slide's topic in Model kits
#65702 VF-1J (2,000 yen) vs #65833 VF-1EX (3,400 yen) Unless they used the old CAD projections just for decal mock-up, that's gonna be one amazing 1,400 yen resin cockpit. VF-1A/J Gerwalk was 2,600 yen VF-1D Gerwalk was 3,800 yen, so the D tree and 3 resin figures added 1,200 yen.
