    Crazy! I was working tons of OT when I got my YF-21, so when it arrived I didn't have much time to check it out. I brought it to work for a few days and just marveled at the engineering. I work at an aeronatical college and I had to fight off the "let me see it requests ^_^" LOL, I don't think the average person really gets what goes into the design of these "Airplane Transformers"

    I should have left well enough alone..... It looked fine, but after a 13 hour day yesterday (I work in IT). I tried to get it Oshan OCD perfect, it got too hot and the tweezera/clamps marred the plastic, same pattern on both sides Chalk it up to a happy little mistake as it kinda now looks more like a "laser emitting protrusion on top of a stealth aircraft" circa January 2040.

    To remove the head laser, do you just pull it up? Or do you guys suggest I heat the part that clamps the sides with a heat gun on low? I won't bother uploding a picture of mine, looks like everyone elses.... I agree with it being an issue at the factory, looks like they pulled the piece out of a mold when it was still warm. If anyone has ever done resin casting, you really gotta wait until pieces fully cure before you pull them out of one part of a two part mold or they will misform (bend), especially flat pieces like swords.

    They better do some amazing work on the LP cover art. Don't get me wrong, I adore the macross plus soundtrack and pretty much anything Yoko Kanno does. But I don't see the point as I'll bet the M+ soundtrack was mixed digitally with 1994 technology, and never remasterd, as far as I know. The CD's were re-released by Victor in 2013. I kinda don't see the point.... But hey!.... you hipsters have fun. To be honest.....I would love to be a audiophile, but too busy being a videophile

    My Thoughts... Bandai Japan holds the US executive staff accountable for how Bandai products are marketed, distributed, customer service, etc. The CS reps in Japan have no real motivation to provide returns of their probably extremely limited supply of spare parts. But, Mine is at the post office awaiting redelivery or pickup. If my head laser or any other parts are busted beyond repair I might try reaching out to their leadership team: https://www.bandai.com/company At least for the cause

    They do treat their customers right.. I was doin the Hachette Yamato Subsription service build through them, missed a few preorders because of "Life". Excelllent customer service. Shipping rates did go up post pandemic...

    Media I've had of Macross Plus: 1. Bootleg VHS of the OAV's shipped from friend in Japan. 2. Japanese LD releases, OAV. 3. Japanese Laserdisc, Movie edition 4. Manga Video US Laserdiscs. 5. Manga Video DVD's 6. Japanese Blu-Ray box. 😵‍💫I have a problem........ Now this damn thing, finally a decent artbook, but we shall see.

    With the everlasting lack of any good Macross + merchandise, other than the wonderful valkyries "Forever have been waiting for a Sharon Apple resin kit or figure....." The artbook is a selling point for me, I have no idea what they can fill 184 pages with, lets just hope it's not fanart. The pamphlet that came with the Japanese box was pretty good in its small glory.

    I wonder what is different about the french edition. Translation only says the following: "Exclusive edition at the AllTheAnime publisher store: French variant limited to 200 copies"
