Really? 89 Keaton Batman? I didn't expect this, but I'd guess that's the point, nobody did. I'm still plenty happy with my eventual Mezco One:12, but this is cool. I can only imagine he'll have a cloth cape, Bandai finally decided hard plastic, separated cape bits are dumb and look bad. If they do a Jack Joker I'll have to grab both, but if Mezco announces their own I won't bother.

Pretty fun episode last night. Next week appears to finally bring in guest star Terry Crews! I've watched him live-stream some builds a few times, guy is a pretty big LEGO fan, he has a nice building and storage area in his basement.

My physical copy of Doom Eternal just got delivered to work, I'm so excited to pop this into my Xbox One X later and fire it up. Doom 2016 was, hands down, my favorite video game campaign of the generation, it was pretty much perfect, and the soundtrack was music to my ears, truly angelic. Rip and tear!- 6831 replies

Obligatory. Looks cool though, nobody really does classic Apes merch anymore, NECA did a bit, but that was a while ago, I think the cloth goods will look fantastic on this guy, I'm in for one.

When the first bridge held 1000 lbs. I was amazed, then the second happened and I was blown away, holy hell. Love this show to death, and agreed, I'd say Tyler and Amy, the LEGO couple, have been the most consistent duo since the first episode, not one bad build, no real issues to speak of, impressive episode after episode, I'm pulling for them to win myself. Tonight looks fun though, the children's ad lib looks interesting, there's no harsher critics then children, especially when what you're building comes straight from their imagination and direction. Gotta say, during the Mega City build, though sneak peeks and previews already showed it, my heart sank and I let out a very loud NO when the Bromance couple's tower went down, that was really hard to watch, it had actual stories built into each level, and a neat little elevator system, how heart crushing. Worked out in the end though for the most part, multiple teams got saved on that episode with the "twist" half way through.

Holy crap, I need it, looks really clever, and far more than I expected, I of course just expected a Mario level layout with a Mario minifig.

When was this announced? Or is this a surprise release? That's really soon, and I hadn't read anything about this, it does look pretty good though.

While this looks good I already have the Star Ace 1/6 Jules and Vincent, the ones with the spare clothes they got from The Wolf, so this is a pass for me even if it's a slightly different look for Vincent. I'd absolutely be in for more 1/6 Pulp Fiction characters though, Bruce Willis' Butch and an Uma Thurman Mia would be great. -
I saw it Saturday and absolutely agreed, fantastic film, very tense, a really killer reboot. I was going to post about it in the old Universal Monsterverse thread, this was going to originally be The Invisible Man movie for that universe until Tom Cruise's crappy Mummy reboot crap the bed, this thread works just fine though.

Oh I am absolutely in to see it as well, extremely hyped honestly, but I'm a Godzilla fanboy so I'm in for literally anything involving the Big G. I remember growing up I wore out three copies of King Kong V Godzilla on VHS, I loved that movie in particular, so cheesy, but so awesome.

This is literally exactly what happens, it leaked a while back, they fight the World Serpent, or something like that, after fighting each other a little bit. Plus, MechaGodzilla apparently.

This is why I'll always, always keep Netflix going, there's a steady stream of quality, original content always coming out. I wasn't going to check out End of the F***ing World right away, but I'm so glad I did because I loved it, I've done that with several Netflix originals, you never know until you watch :). On that note, season 2 of Kingdom releases next week, an absolutely brilliant, well made and acted, Korean zombie series, also on Netflix of course :). Highly recommended, really great stuff, far superior to Walking Dead IMO, but that's not exactly a hard task. It takes place in feudal Korea, apparently based on a Korean comic called Land of the Gods, once again, highly recommended even for those with zombie fatigue.

I haven't even watched season 1 or 2 yet, I'm way behind! I didn't know season 3 was already out, I may have to blast through the whole series this weekend, I've heard nothing but good things.

The more I'm seeing of this film the more I'm getting interested, this is all shaping up to look like a really well done Year One story. I see a lot of folks complaining on social media, shocker, that it's not "Bat" enough, in reality the heavy bat themed stuff didn't come until later, most Year One stuff was heavily modified real world vehicles and armor.

I remember season 1 caught some flack from critics for Takeshi being a bit too dry and emotionless, but I just took that as being his character, that's just how he is. I definitely feel everyone involved with this season over-reacted to those criticisms and tried to make Takeshi more emotional this season, but to me, it read as over-acted and disingenuous. At no point in season 1 did I think Takeshi would get this worked up over his search for, and apparent love for, Falconer, they went 0-60, and they did it far too fast IMO. I too saw the reviews for this season and they weren't as hot as season 1, I enjoyed it but it wasn't nearly as good as season 1, the AI stuff was still fantastic, but it seems Takeshi took a bit of a back seat to his own story. As mentioned, I expected some Falconer, not the Falconer Show though. I also saw some critics praising this season for dropping apparently problematic themes from season 1, to me, that's also disingenuous, in a world where bodies are literally just flesh and have little meaning, I found it very poignant in season 1 when we saw the facility where you could just buy a 21 year old super model to put your wife in, that's honestly exactly what I'd expect if this tech were real. That's not problematic, that's just being genuine with how this world and it's people would be, bodies are nothing, male or female, it's just meat.

This is what I figured, you can only redeem VIP points for set values of gift cards, more or less, to use towards new purchases. It's a bit more restricted then I remember, if I recall in the past you could just cash in your VIP points at checkout and it would just take a chunk off your total and use every point, now you can only turn in VIP points for the pre-set amounts listed in the VIP area M'Kyuun posted above. Not a huge change, but a bit different from what I remember. Also, that Beetle is totally on the way, looks awesome too.

It's not timed and it's not locked to just one playthrough, you can take as long as you want and replay it whenever, and you should, the graphics are fantastic, Midgar has never looked better. I'm interested in hearing more about what people think of the combat, it's... certainly something.- 6831 replies

I actually looked and was going to grab a Beetle this morning, it just looks so cool, I need it. The DB-5 and Mustang were amazing, so that makes me more excited to check this little VW Bug out. That said, how do VIP points work? I think I've used them before but I thought I was able to use them at checkout and I cashed all of them in or something, I don't entirely remember. The only way I saw to use VIP points for purchases was to redeem them for one of set amount coupon things, is that how they are used for purchases? It's been so long, I have 7,300 points to use, not a small amount.

I'm not doing DYRL valks so this is a pass for me, I'll be back when the TV version gets announced.

I binged through the whole season Friday, really enjoyed it, not nearly as much as season 1, but I liked it. I think Anthony Mackie was a solid choice for Takeshi this season, he has the physicality and he's a handsome enough guy, I think he got Takeshi's very on point, dry, direct personality down. I gotta agree on the character's motivation itself though, the whole season was driven by his odd obsession with Falconer, something I didn't expect. We knew in season 1 he loved her, obviously, and at the end he set out to find her, but the events of this season and his crazy devotion to her was jarring, and not where I expected the story to go. I didn't think the entire season's story would be devoted to his search for her, I was fairly disappointed the new job he got assigned to literally died off in the first episode, I wanted another mystery in the background but nope, it just led to more Falconer nonsense. All the things she does, all the signs it wasn't her or that something was wrong, and he kept following her and getting into messes, like a lethal little puppy, it was kind of lame. I expected Falconer to be a big part of the season, but she almost became the main character instead of Takeshi, and it wasn't even actually her for a large part of the season's events. Thinking about the events of the season, things got fairly GANTZ, no?

I think Division 2 is absolutely worth $3, that's a killer price. I can't speak for Destiny 2, I never got into Destiny 1 so I never bothered with 2, but Division 2 is an excellent looter shooter, and has had tons of updates and support since launch. A massive new New York expansion just dropped as well, blast through the main story and you can jump right into the new expansion with some starter level 50 gear, it's a great solo or coop experience IMO. This is also what I learned about the Destiny story from friends, it's not really there, you shoot stuff and do missions, the lore and story takes a real back seat unless you read some kind of external story logs or something that aren't actually mandatory and don't get covered in the game itself. I tried it last night, the hype is sort of somewhat real IMO, it was certainly a fairly difficult slog to beat the OG scorpion sentinel boss at the end of the bombing run mission. I don't know, combat is fun enough I guess, more of a evolution of Kingdom Hearts style combat then FFXV, it's interesting enough and you certainly do need to keep on your guard. I just still don't think I can be bothered to pay $60 for an unclear chunk of game, I'll probably be waiting for a sale or I'll just wait for the PS5/Xbox X Series release, which will probably be closer to part 2 and will probably come bundled together anyway.- 6831 replies

My CREATOR Fiat 500 is arriving at work today, I'm excited, looks like a really fun little build even though I'm not the biggest fan of the car itself. I think I need to nab a CREATOR VW Bug as well before stock dries up, that little thing looks neat too.
