    I guess I mostly forgot about all that, I wasn't as in to X-Men at the time. I remember the MvC disappointment, I never really noticed the deliberate lack of other merch. I'm glad we're beyond all that, X-Men toys are really having a new golden age right now, everyone is doing some amazing X-Men stuff. I'd like to see a Mezco Nightcrawler, I'm hoping Gambit is solid.

    The original release was $230, priciest Monsterarts release at the time. Still baffled KotM Ghidorah cost what it did for what we got.

    Monsterarts Biollante is up at BBTS, get her while you can, I'm sure she'll eventually sell out again and be back at $800+ in no time.     I got my four sets almost two weeks ago. I requested a shipping update to UPS, paid the new invoice, got them just a few days later.

    To be fair Halo Infinite was never really promised to be a graphical show stopper, or powerhouse, it was just promised as the next Halo. I think it looks good for what it is, open world, it's no longer linear levels, and apparently the world is massive. 343 was also targeting frames, 4k 60fps on Xbox, none of Sony's stuff has been promised at 60fps, they're still caught up in higher resolutions and 30fps, which is meh, I want 60fps standard for next gen. And I'm not really seeing any immediate reason to say PS will dominate early next gen already, what are they releasing on PS5 at launch, Miles Spidey? Everything else Sony announced is years away just like Microsoft. I think early next gen will be sparse on exclusives, it'll be on third party devs to keep people's consoles running. I'm hyped for State of Decay 3, I put hundreds of hours into 1 and 2, jank and all, it's easily one of the best zombie series out now. Halo we'll see, I honestly never got through 4 or 5, I have no idea where the story is at now.

    It looked great for the most part, I love the sculpt, accessories and articulation, I meant terrible as in QC issues. I had really poorly applied paint in a number of areas, and the legs and ab joints were incredibly loose, I applied some clear nail polish but it only helped a bit. I think a lot of Mafex figures look great, I've just had a lot of really bad QC issues across a number of different figures from them. I think their AstroBoy was one of the worst figures I've ever purchased, as far as QC is concerned. I paid a premium for Rogue One Vader after it sold out, once again it looked great, but mine had bad paint on the helmet, loose legs, a broken hand peg, and one of the arms has a thinner peg that made it fall off constantly. I've been tempted, but I do Mezco for comic stuff, their stuff isn't completely accurate, but I like the stylized classic comic style stuff they do. The Batman revealed above looks great, but I'll definitely wait on reviews, a premium TAS Batman is definitely something I'm interested in.

    Understood, and agreed. If you're not into MCU stuff, you're probably not bothering with Figuarts these days, that seems to be the only hero stuff Bandai is into. Mafex is definitely catering to the comic fan market at this point, they do live action and MCU, but they're never in a rush. That could be why I've had such horrible luck with Mafex, it seems a lot of the comic based stuff is pretty solid, most of their other stuff seems shoddy at best to terrible at worst. Star Wars, Kingsman, AstroBoy, Evangelion, Justice League, Dark Knight, all the figures from those properties I've gotten from Mafex have been mostly terrible, shoddy at best, all regrettable purchases. I got the comic colored Spidey after seeing so many positive reviews of the original release, but that figure was terrible too, apparently the original release was much better. I don't know, Mafex is so expensive now, if I want comic based stuff I'll just spend the extra on Mezco One:12 instead.

    I mean, not really, they're just doing a lot of stuff that Bandai Figuarts isn't doing. Bandai isn't doing comic inspired stuff, and they haven't done anything Batman outside the live action films and that goofy Ninja Batman anime. That Batman looks rather skimp on accessories, I wonder if there is more included that isn't shown? Mafex usually includes far more stuff to try to justify that crazy $70+ per figure they charge now. I have the full line of Batman TAS stuff, vehicles and Batcave too, but I'd definitely take a higher quality, better articulated Animated Bats, I just don't do Mafex anymore these days because I've gotten a ton of garbage from them. I don't think I'll be pre-ordering, their stuff doesn't sell out and can be had for retail at release, I'm definitely waiting on reviews from now on before giving Mafex any more money.

    I've been playing since launch night, which for me was last Thursday at nine, and it's fantastic. The combat isn't quite Sekiro, but it's fun and requires precision, between the different stances you learn to counter different enemies, there's quite a few moves. As Mike mentioned above the stealth is nothing special, it opens up more when you get to the second northern island and you get a few more gadgets, early on it's pretty dull. Game is drop dead gorgeous, one of the best on PS4, the photo mode is awesome, the game is made for photo mode, I find myself stopping every few minutes to take another screenshot. There's a prioritize frame rate option for PS4 Pro and I'm using that, still looks good. My main issues are stealth kills can be wonky, it's square to kill one guy, triangle to kill multiple in a chain, but I find myself slicing or poking guys instead even though I see the button prompt for an assassination. Also, the sensitivity for chain kills is derpy, I've had guys right on each other that I just couldn't chain and instead screwed the fight up, stealth just doesn't feel great and isn't that engaging. Other then that the Japanese language track is fantastic, but looks off. The character models were capped to the English voice actors, which are great too, so the Japanese audio doesn't match the lips, and looks really off in many scenes. I'm still playing Japanese audio though, you've just got to, English cast is really good too though like I said, and the black and white with film grain "Kurosawa" mode is a neat addition.

    I'd also recommend Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, that one was also fantastic, great combat.

    I'm absolutely in for a Lego Nintendo, looks fantastic, I'm really interested in seeing how they got that crank to "animate" the game on the screen. Solid price too, at 2,600 pieces I expected $300, $230, for me, is very doable.

    Ghost of Tsushima is reviewing very well, I held off preordering to wait and see on reviews after the embargo, I'm officially in. Looks pretty amazing, I've got my digital version downloaded and ready, unlocks for me Thursday night at 9.

    Received my newest private warehouse shipment from HLJ, at this point I've got 14 Figuarts Stormtrooper figures from the various releases, but I think I like these newest ANH versions best.

    It seems to be complete luck of the draw at this point. I seemed to have gotten lucky and had a similar experience to F360, I just had to open one new ticket with the subject "upgrade shipping" and I got a new payment request within two hours. Paid that and got prep in progress in less then an hour, shipped out today.

    I'm sure they'll take some bits from all the recent G1 seeker figures, MP or otherwise. They'd be crazy not to, there's some fantastic engineering that goes into a lot of that stuff. And unfortunately agreed, Hound wasn't too complex but was a QC disaster, MP44 and MP45 were over engineered, expensive, and quite ugly from many angles. Easy passes for me, but I'd take a Hound rerelease with fixes, I'd wait for in hand reviews before ordering of course. MP 3.0 seekers seemed inevitable, they already made a new head with MP44 (what a dumb set of accessories that helped jack the price up), and the current seeker molds are terribly, terribly outdated. Easy pass for me though, my MakeToys seekers are pure gold, everything I want in MP seekers, the wing fillers, chest turbines, and leg vents helped break up the bland "toonness" for me. I was really, really hoping for MP Trailbreaker, that's one MP I have a third party figure for that is exceptionally meh, MMC Terraegis. Trailbreaker has been rumored for years too, that's seriously the one G1 MP replacement I would buy without hesitation.

    I just need a TV Kakizaki announcement and I can be done, no TV supers for me. My four missiles are still at prep in progress at NY, I'll feel better when those are in hand, it's been a while as usual.

    I'm passing on all the Marvel stuff. I'm fine with my Endgame Thanos, I got the NOTA Strange cape and face, NOTA Tony face and gauntlet, Wanda just seems to have painted eyes so my original is fine, same with Thorbowski. I also saw this posted, Nick Fury and Gamora confirmed as well. Both of these will be pickups, I can get rid of my stand-in Legends Gamora. Just need Bandai to announce that Figuarts Teen Groot.

    Two new Thanos seems excessive, one was a given, not sure about the other either, maybe it's Black Dwarf? Also, if Iron Spider MK2 comes with a gauntlet that fits the current Endgame Thanos, all this new one could do is have some effects and battle damaged paint, pass. I've got 12 Figuarts Stormtroopers, from the original ROTJ ones, to the Rogue One, and several of the newest ANH ones too, these remnant troopers look great and I'll be buying at least four, two scouts for sure too. I might need a few more death troopers too. Biollante is a grail figure for me, this one is about as articulated as she can get. The whole upper torso and head are segmented and have quite a bit of range, the vines are fully articulated as are the main stump sections attached to her body. Not far off what the actual suit was capable of, in the film she didn't do much outside slide around, bite, and flail vines around, the mouth opens up quite a bit too, she tried to swallow Godzilla in the film.
