Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+
Tking22 replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah that was all after the big reshoot and rewrite, they showed the ending of the Netflix series in that just to hammer home that it's now canon, and in the MCU. It's just a weird road bump that, as others have mentioned, most will be happy to forget, they righted the ship, so to speak, with DD on Echo, making it canon with the Netflix show, even if Echo itself was totally forgettable garbage.- 1461 replies

Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+

The only thing I'm wondering is if the events of She-Hulk are canon now or not. In She-Hulk DD was still being sold as a light-reboot, not a direct continuation of the Netflix series, obviously months later that changed and they re-wrote the whole thing and announced all the Netflix stuff was canon, but yeah, She-Hulk had already established a different tone and direction for DD. Not complaining, you could axe DDs appearance in She-Hulk and nothing would change, it was all fan service and establishing him for Reborn, before the giant rewrite and reshoot, it's just odd that if you saw him on She-Hulk, weren't up on your MCU news, then saw this trailer, you'd be thinking there were some multi-verse shenanigans or something goin on.- 1461 replies

It's also tied to Gunn's DC projects that are surviving the new universe-wipe, CC fits within continuity with Gunn's The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker. This is the same Weasel from The Suicide Squad, and from what I understand, this, Gunn's new Superman, and Peacemaker season 2 are the start of the new DCU moving forward.

I'm still plenty happy with my Side Labor collection. I've contemplated, once or twice, buying the ThreeZero unit 1, 2 and 3, but I just prefer having far more figures then just three big figures from just the TV series.

I finally got the retro radio and I absolutely agree with most reviews, probably one of the best sets of the year, hands down! The build is fun, the end result is fantastic, and the functionality is incredibly well done.

Nobody really knows, details are sparse. I think, think, it's set after this final season of Cobra Kai, and I'm imagine there has to be at least a mention of the events of that series. How much will they play into this movie, if at all? Who knows?

Your Most Recent General Toy Purchase - 2024 Edition
Tking22 replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I hit the Lego and brick haul this Christmas! The Cada Toys Initial D tofu shop is a wonderful little set, highly recommended, I also grabbed the minifig scale AE86 that goes with it. I finally, finally, finally found a retro radio in store, probably set of the year 2024 honestly, it's frakking perfection. It looks incredible, it's a fun build, and the sound block functionality is absolutely awesome! Lastly though, after searching barweer.com for hours, I spotted it, a "serrated hammer" third party brick set, aka the Warhammer chainsword with a functioning motor and blade feature.....- 584 replies

Your Most Recent General Toy Purchase - 2024 Edition
Tking22 replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I had already purchased the Creator/Ideas scale AE86 and RX-7 from Initial D from Cada Toys, went ahead and grabbed their minifig scale modular Fujiwara Tofu Shop and and AE86 too. Cool modular set, really detailed, parts fit is excellent and at Lego quality, very impressed, wish I would've grabbed these sooner, Cada is doing good stuff with the Initial D license. I'd love to see them do some later Stage sets, and some other cars beyond the hero and RedSuns, I'd love to see a NightKids Skyline R32.- 584 replies

[Amazon Prime} Secret Level - Gaming Anthology Series
Tking22 replied to Old_Nash_II's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah I didn't realize how short this whole thing was, just binged it all last night, all the episodes were pretty great. Warhammer episode was peak, of course, followed by Armored Core, they were all really well done, and as expected, quite entertaining. -

I mean, it looks incredible per episode, no real reason not to watch it unless you have zero extra free time. The episodes still look fantastic, so regardless of length or perceived quality I'll be watching, I'm sure it will still be plenty entertaining. -
Damn, that looks great, I'm definitely in!

I took my two nieces to see this, it was okay, not as good as the first of course, but sequels rarely are. Even though they enjoyed it, they both said Wild Robot was way better, and agreed, that's animated film of the year by fay, honestly though, it's one of the best movies of the year period.

Didn't even know this was a thing but Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic just dropped on Switch today. I haven't played a Rollercoaster Tycoon game in well over a decade, I wasn't interested in the sequel ones on Xbox One, but I played the classic version on PC for hours when I was a kid. I think it's $25, at that price, on Switch, I'll absolutely grab it, that's a killer combo, classic RT on a neat little mobile gaming platform. I mostly play docked anyway so it's basically just a console version of my favorite classic, that's awesome.- 6831 replies

Why does Sony keep making these boring, half-assed anti-heroes? None of these films, this, Morbius, or the Venom films, are about anti-heroes, they're about "dark heroes", that only kill bad guys, and have zero moral ambiguity. Very boring, just because they kill and cuss doesn't make them anti-heroes, or interesting for that matter. In that first eight minutes Kraven blatantly says he only kills and hunts bad people, like a hero, not the actual comic character who literally hunts anyone and anything for sport, he even tosses a guard at one point and I think he let an innocent die, collateral damage, but dude landed on a net then was standing fine in the background in the next shot. I just can't be bothered, these adaptations are toothless, and boring, this is just more generic super-hero schlock, but with an R rating. Also, how desperate is Sony to release the first eight minutes? Their time to back out of another, obvious, massive flop, is long gone. Apparently Morbius, Madame Web, and Venom 3 weren't indicators enough, these Spider-Man adjacent movies aren't working, and never would, Venom 1 and 2 were frakking anomalies.

Yeah I love P+, but I also watch The Challenge, Survivor, reruns of Comedy Central stuff and old school Jackass and Wild Boyz. Plus all the Trek, it's a solid channel.

Jesus, how much will this cost? Play Arts pricing is already absolutely frakking absurd, can't imagine this being less then $200, SE just doesn't give a frakk.

No option for uncovered arms? That's a bummer, they even show shots where in the movie he very clearly had the sleeves off at that point. Oh well, I'm getting the Figuarts anyway.

Yeah I'm in, for me, this is one of the most iconic pop culture cars out there, I really liked the live action movie too!

Once again, I just want a TV Kaki 1A so Vermillion can be done, c'mon Bandai, get to it already!
