    Thanks. I missed my window for the LE from amiami, and had to buy from nippon yasan. Their price was fair but shipping was super expensive ($50 for EMS???). I ended up paying for the SAL option for ~2400 yen. But now have to wait 2 weeks if not more to get it.

    got these over the weekend but haven't had time to transform it yet. first complaint would be Alto's pilot figure......not that it's horrible, but it's just that when put next to a yamato valk with the cockpit opened, it looks relatively terrible. Alto's head with the helmet on has the proportion of a regular human head (no helmet), whereas yamato's pilots are a lot more detailed with nicer paint app and better proportion. Are there skilled sculptor here who is doing 1/60 MF pilot figures for the DX line?

    Happened to be on HLJ before the announcement and saw this. Finally will have my VF-17S and VF-19S. Glad I waited!! HLJ didn't disappoint.

    Gerwalk mode! The parts are actually a little more fiddly that I'd like, the hip armor attaches funny in Gerwalk mode, but at least it stays on (unlike the atrocious V1 armor and FP parts).

    Finally got mine today. I'm struggling with taking a good picture with my crappy camera. Alto looks good and I'm loving him so far.

    I've been thinking about bringing my hi metal vf-1j to work. I mean, a few pieces probably wouldn't hurt. My concern would be whether it would make me look less professional and ultimately affect my career development. If I don't care about advancing then I wouldn't think twice about it and display it all already. I don't have enough shelf space at home already.

    So some of you actually display your macross stuff at work? I've always wanted to do that but not sure how others will take it. I already look younger than my age, don't want my coworkers to think I'm immature too by still playing with what they call "toys".

    Thank you!!! Finally had time to install the hinge on my VF-1A Hikaru, and it was pretty easy to do! Hinge fit great and works well. The ball joint was a tad loose but nothing a couple layers of nail polish can't fix. Thanks again for doing this.

    Haven't transformed my alto for awhile but was messing with it today. I'm having trouble getting the neck plate to stay up while in battroid mode. Does anybody else have this problem and is there a solution for this? I don't have this problem on my Omza.

    Took forever to checkout. I barely got home when the preorder went up, was expecting later tonight but guess I was wrong. Glad I don't have to spend all night hitting F5.

    i ordered a $470 item from anime king once and they shipped it with minimal packing, Shipping box fell apart during transit, and the item had dings and tears on the box and missing pieces. I returned the item promptly, and they refunded promptly, but they wouldn't refund my return shipping cost and not a word of apology despite the few messages I sent them. Never ordering from them again.

    I wonder if it's just a lot of scalpers out there buying all available quantities or just that the numbers are so limited that the few ppl who happened to be watching during those 15 minutes got them all....... I mean, 3AM in CA, 6AM in NY, pretty much none of us in US would be in front of the computer.

    picked it up from the post office....it's pretty awesome. The crotch joint is not as tight as the Alto one on mine, but this one seems easier to transform. paint job is okay, very minor bleed around the skull. For SAL small packet, i've been tracking my orders and based on a sample size of 16, delivery time is from 6 to 32 days with an average of 17 days. So this one is right in the middle.

    I find it ironic that it's been more difficult to secure one of these mass released items than the tamashii web exclusive stuff. I stalked 3-4 sites for weeks before I was able to get the pre-orders in for Alto and Ozma. I doubt I'll have the luck with YF-29, seeing how many scalpers are out there buying it purely for profit.
