Thanks for the update Yeti. This had led me looking into glowforge, and it is very impressive in its ability! The price is not bad either considering what it is. I was looking into its FAQ and it does say orders will ship in first half of 2016 and into 3Q 2016.

Not sure why HLJ would ever repeat the discount off preorder sale again. It only happened the one year but the expectation since last year should have been it would never happen again.

does the poll require you to own both 0D and 0A to vote? I only own a 0D with no issue but was not able to cast vote. Just wondering if it's because I didn't answer all question. I didn't answer all question because there was not option for 0 when asked about how many 0As I own.

Thank you EXO. It sounds like a lot of people are not happy with the price for what they get with the ET VF-2SS. Regarding Evolution Toys (ET), their product has always been priced very high. However, they almost exclusively produce obscure figures/characters that has either NEVER been done or hasn't been done in a long time. Their target audience is therefore fans who will pay to get the obscure characters/figures that they have always wanted. However, I don't believe they have much (if any) experience with perfect transformation toys, as many of their products are parts forming. The sculpt of some of their products have been spot on, while slightly off on others. I own their Albegas (Voltron III for those who don't know) figure. It's high priced and all plastic save the magnets, but it's the only modern Albegas out there. My point is, the reason ET's products are high priced is because they are always niche products with likely low production numbers. That has always been the case with this company. There is a price to pay for a niche product. We like to compare Bandai and Arcadia on their price vs. what you get. It's the similar comparison with ET but perhaps a little more extreme version of it. At the end of the day, one more company is doing Macross, and one more entirely new bird, with possibility of a SAP coming down the line. It's a good time to be a Macross fan.

I think we have heard enough bashing. All the updates available and so little discussion on the actual toy? Let's also take a little time to talk about what you DO like about this release instead. After all it is a gutsy attempt and may be the only VF-2SS toy EVER. Besides, all the negative talk may be swaying those who would buy it and therefore reduce sale and eliminate the possibility of the SAP. More is always better!!!

tampo printed reds sounds like the grey part is under consideration (matte or glossy?) it talks about its glossy white but i'm not sure if it said if it'll stay that way extendable feet diecast frame diecast joints diecast landing gear comes with unpainted pilot cockpit not yet painted, but will be in actual product. also sounds like they are still working out how arms and legs will lock in fighter mode. Overall, sounds like this is very much a work in progress and there are some improvements worth watching for.

The reason many of us buy completed models is because we ain't got the time to build and to paint. Not to mention many of us lack the skills also. So in 10 years I'll still be buying completed model if they make them...

how many voted for Bandai and only owns the Bandai? how many voted for Arcadia and only owns Arcadia? how many voted for either and own both? in my case, i own both, but haven't even bothered opening the Bandai yet......and I confess I voted for Arcadia, if only based on track record of DX valks. The latter Yamato releases and the Arcadia releases just feels so much more solid in hand than any DX valks. Yamato/Arcadia's valks wins on not just the matte finish, it's how things fit together, its heft, how the plastic feels, etc. It gives the impression that it is a high end piece. DX valks, on the other hand, while it looks good, at least to me, is never fun to mess around with, and gives a cheap toy feel. All personal opinion here.

I knew something else other than a Hikaru 1J had donned the armor! Thanks all for proving it wasn't my just imagination afterall. That 1A in armor looks badass. Someone do a custom diorama of the entire screen shot already! By the way, which episode did that screen shot come from? I'm gonna check it out

Does anyone know if the CF 1J donned in armor ever appeared in SDF? I vaguely recall seeing it somewhere but can't be sure. If it did, which episode would it appear in?

HLJ listing describes that there is a stand included, has this been confirmed?? Tempted to buy one, but already have the Yamato 1J with armor. Just want another 1J to put my FP on.

Why does it come with a 1j when it's clearly a DYRL SDF-1? Looks good though and pondering on it.
