  1. The plane that crashed last week was a JH-7, not the J-20
  2. Shaorin, the Hasegawa kits have previously been discussed on the board here. Apparently the resin kits made by Club-M, Orange Collection or Yellow Submarine are more 'screen accurate' or closely follow the line art more so than the Hasegawa kits. I, like many others, prefer Hasegawa's real life aerodynamic take on their VF-1 kits.
  3. Hobby Search shipped my order out today. For those who are planning to get one, AmiAmi has them available at 1970 Yen.
  4. I am up for one
  5. Awesome news & a welcome addition to their 1/72 line. Can't wait to see some test shots!
  6. Thanks for the latest photos and descriptions. I always find it fascinating to see how artists create their work and not always have to use fancy tools / equipment. Is there a certain way to cut / extract the parts from the molds? Are the molds only good for one use or are you able to get a few pulls from them?
  7. Nice work, a good alternative to the kit version. I am not familiar with the Revoltech line, were you able to swap parts between the figures or did it also involve some surgery to make the parts fit?
  8. Excellent work so far! I've been following this thread with great interest. Just a heads up, those are Jamming Pods and do not contain fuel. Their real life counterparts can be found here. Also, the fan at the front of the pod is part of the RAM air turbine generator and is used to provide power to the pod and does not provide propulsion in any way
  9. For those interested in the video: http://www.studio-tenjin.com/VALKYRIES2nd.html It plays through once and stops but I am able to replay it when I refresh the webpage.
  10. Do you live in the U.S.? How much was SAL from AmiAmi?
  11. Thanks Captain, I had missed a page from the instructions! Major Focker, I was under the impression that it was just the dark blue parts that needed baking.
  12. Received my kit, I'm really happy with it - great casting and superb details. I won't be working on it until I've built up enough experience with resin kits. Thanks again to Grayson72 for graciously offering me his kit. Question for the Captain, how long and at what temp do we bake the high-strength polymer parts?
  13. Nice job, I've yet to put together any of my Hasegawa Macross kits!. Did you use any of the decals for the black or yellow markings or did you paint those areas?
  14. IIRC these kits are pretty much snap fit just like the Bandai Gundam kits. I've only built the Hasegawa VF-0S Battroid so far and the joints were not overly loose or floppy.
  15. I'll keep hoping . Just bummed that I got busy & forgot about this forum & thread. Now that I have a new job I'd buy 3 of these just support another batch / production run!
  16. Doh, missed out on a very unique model. I look forward to reading the WIPs from anyone who has bought one of these!
  17. Hi Captain, do you have any unsold / remaining kits or is it absolutely too late to get in on this?
  18. Truly an amazing creation! I cannot find the right words to describe this one, awesome is barely good enough. I was wondering how limited this run will be or if you're still adding people to the sales list? I would love to purchase one (or two, time, mold life and savings permitting).
