Has anyone stateside, other than Grayson72, received their VC-33 yet? My tracking number only shows it was created July 1st
-
Has anyone received their ground support vehicles from Jason? Has anyone built any of them yet?
-
Ahh, now I understand. Thinking about it, I guess I would prefer to have the original instructions too.
-
You can print out the photos, Hobby Search provides actual scans of the instructions. I assume Checkmate will also be sending you a scan?
-
Go to Hobby Search and click on the photos for the instructions for your kit.

I thought the majority of overseas shipments will not get taxed in the U.S.?? Crap, I just had a shipment of books delivered by FedEx and was about to throw away the letter they sent me as its usually useless info....

The Hasegawa 1/48 Raptor been at the $30 mark for a while at online hobby stores. I think some of the complaints were the surface details being too 'over done'. My only complaint was it was in the wrong scale. I literally have a squadron of F-22 kits in 1/72 scale from Revell, Fujimi and Academy so the picture posted by derex3592 will come in handy A quick search on Google shows the F-22 paintscheme image originating from DeviantArt by an artist named Kryptid Supposedly that bottom left scheme is based on the B-2

Just want to add I still do not have a tracking number
-
A lot of Hasegawa kits are limited run, especially the ones they re-pop with different/special decals or variants. That said, some of the other Japanese retailers, such as Hobby Search, still show the kit in stock. I am glad I picked up a few.

Had to look up what a Parrot AR Drone was, but then I saw your video linked at the bottom :Doh! What kind of colors / paint scheme will you be going for? The decals came out great, did you create the artwork yourself?

The winter camo scheme sure is sexy, it looks great on the T-50 too: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/93/Sukhoi_T-50_in_2011_%284%29.jpg -

The new dark grey paint scheme has grown on me though, I do prefer the original camo schemes more: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia---Air/Sukhoi-Su-34/2222144/L/&sid=e7a11b5658b0672186f8a7fc6067d084 -

Su-35 at Paris Air Show 2013 - she is such a pretty and agile bird -
Jason, I have not received a PM or package. I paid for a set of ground vehicles and a VC-33 on 12/1/11 and 5/25/12 respectively. I live in the States, MD

Does anyone have the issue numbers these VF girls were shown in?
-
According to the instructions, the hip joints / parts are one and the same: VF-1 Battroid and VF-1A Super Battroid
-
It can be built without the FAST packs as a regular battroid, just follow the instructions for the VF-1 Battroid kit
-
I ordered mine from HLJ They are listed as backordered but they were able to obtain one within a couple of days when I ordered mine 2 weeks ago.

Thanks, I saw that post before I got the book. Your way seems easier plus I also plan to get a few of those PE sets too. Do those flat PE discs have another use or did Jasmine intend for them to be the part of the thrusters? My idea was to drill out the holes and glue some bell nozzles on the inside but that is not always feasible with the limited space in the kit.
-
Is anyone going to be translating the book for those of us who do not read Japanese? I am very interested in the write-up for the VF-3000 and the modelling tips near the last section of the book.
-
It may be a bit of a stretch but the VF-4 looks remarkably similar to the PZL 230 F SKORPION. I thought the Macross Universe VF fighters were small but this thing was TINY! Some more info can be found here and here Supposedly there is a resin kit of this subject in 1/72 and 1/48
-
That would be the A-7 Corsair II & F-8 Crusader Is that a Hasegawa VF-1 Fighter kit & Battroid kit combined? Looking good so far. I've been thinking about bashing those two kits together to make a Gerwalk. I assume is not a simple addition or switching of parts?
