From what I can find, the paint only comes in a spray can and I can only find mention of it in Korean websites. -

You will want polystyrene cement. It is available in 2 types, one is a thick-ish gel type and comes in a squeeze tube. The other is a thinner liquid type and is usually in a plastic bottle. Testors and Revell have them with needle like tips for application. The liquid type is also available with a brush for application

Plastic Model Recasting and where to find Decals
Model-Junkie replied to Galaxy_Stranger's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Whilst Amazon has a nice selection of stuff, there are a lot of model kits and aftermarket accessories you just can't buy from there. Hannants.co.uk, Squadron.com and Spruebrothers.com are a couple of good places for decals -
The new Bandai Macross kits are ok if you want a transforming model kit. These are the new Bandai VF-1S & VF-1A/S kits. Here is a build thread on the Bandai kits. The wave kits are good for 1/100 scale, the link you posted is at an excellent price as they are usually $35+ I personally prefer the Hasegawa kits, they have more variety and the proportions for Fighter mode are very realistic
-
Before you buy the kit, are you expecting it to be Bandai's new mold VF-1A or their old mold kit? The kit you posted is the old mold, get the Hasegawa kit if it is the same price.

Hasegawa's parts service is only open to residents in Japan, which is where Jefuemon comes in and provides the intermediary service

Medicom/Hot Toys and all 1/6 scale figures

Dunk the part in a cup of hot water (I usually microwave a cup of water for 40-60 seconds) or use a hair dryer to heat and soften the plastic enough for your to remove the peg. -
There are 2 Megahouse Cosmo Fleet lines, the gashapon version where support vehicles have been included but these are all small and not as detailed. The Cosmo Fleet Special is of larger models with better detailing and so far have been of capital ships only. The SDF-1 arms are pretty small and if sold separately would most likely be in a different scale. They may release 2 versions of the SDF-1, one as seen in the opening episode and another with the arms added. They released the Nahel Argama in a normal and battle damaged version so it could be a possibility

Doh, can't believe I missed the original thread. I have the Gundam CF SP ships so I may spring for this one, though I would have preferred the Daedalus and Prometheus being included. Hopefully if this sells well it will lead to the start of a line of capital ships for Macross

My apologies if this has already been posted, I did not see a thread about it. Megahouse is releasing an SDF-1 as part of their Cosmo Fleet Special line

I thought this was going to be an announcement by Bandai or Hasegawa. E2046 are known for selling recasted resin kits, I wonder which kit this was copied from? Apparently its not a great one, according to the one review on the webpage

The 1/72 Hasegawa F-22 is a reboxed Revell kit. -
Great job on the kitbash. I have been wanting to do something similar with my Hasegawa VT-1 or VE-1 The canopy reminds me of the F-16D. It may look unusually long due to it having a flat profile, canopies for the F-14 and F-15E are taller and curved

Treatment, what stands are you using for your figures? After hunting on Mandarake for a year I finally have most of the Gundam Wing Robot Spirit figures, including all of the exclusives and option sets. I just need Epyon, Wing Gundam Ver.Ka and Tallgeese II Edit: Ok after a bit of search it seems you are using Bandai's Action Bases. I may pick up a few of these rather than the Bandai Act Stages since they're more affordable!

They are currently backordered at AmiAmi and HLJ but their prices are a little cheaper. SAL shipping from both stores are pretty good too.

I stand corrected as JET7 also mentions some gluing is required in this thread. I do not recall gluing any of the parts on my Hasegawa VF-0 battroid. I had the Bandai VF-19 but I sold it as it was too clunky for my liking.
-
But the Hasegawa 1/72 Battroid kits ARE 100% snap fit and poseable, just like the Bandai Gundam kits. Even the joints use polycaps / rubber parts. However, they only include waterslide decals and no stickers. Check out the kits and the instructions from Hobby Search

I believe it is because of the aircraft livery; the original Eastern Airlines went bust back in the early 90's. Cool to see they named the aircraft after Eastern's first CEO & World War 1 ace, Eddie Rickenbacker -
