  1. I liked it a lot or at least a huge part f it. I didn't mind the " life lesson" part which was very nicely done, interesting and beautyful.
  2. I agree, I felt the way Lion-O first followed the captain in his madness and then turned back to save the crew was rushed. Overall I thought it was a let down, not to the point I stop watching yet but I really hope they have some catchier stories coming
  3. I watched it and loved it! I felt like it was intended for the grown ups who watched it back then in the 80s, with a much more solid and adult storyline and deeper characters, state of the art animation and still retaining the charm of the original series. I hope it can keep up the pace and even get better in the next episodes. I hope they'll do new versions of some great episodes of the old series, like when Lion-O had to go on a quest and beat all the other Thundercats in order to earn the title of king, that one was my favorite back then in the 80's
  4. Me too!! I'm amazed that Yamato could succeed adding this feature with all the things going on in the leg (knee joint, sliding in/out feet, landing gear)
  5. Now I'm sure this valk is going to be really fantastic. I still can't convince myself the gun is somehow going to be stowed inside the leg, but that's not what's going to stop me from getting it
  6. I've been rewatching some Berserk episodes after hearing there was a movie coming soon and there's no way I'm gonna miss this Guts figma when it's released!
  7. Preorder sfor the Roger Smith are open on the GoodSmile site for a week (5000yens shipped worldwide), after that the ebay nonsense will begin...
  8. Badass!!! but how is it supposed to stow that huge gunpod in its leg?
  9. Wow, that a sexy variant of the 19, and the head design looks very nice as well! I'm sure all the people who passed on the Kai won't be able to resist this one
  10. He designed Viper Creed's Maneuver Blade, one of his best bikes I think Edit : oh sorry, I misred your post. I think you've got them all ^^

    HLJ Yamato Sale!!!

I wouldn't get that VF-1J, looks like old stock and if the shoulders break on you HLJ won't answer e-mails about it anymore... 45% off the canon fodder was too tempting to pass though, they got me again, damn Yamato sales!
  12. V2 looks very nice, the improvements on battroid mode make it very cruel to expose that poor V1 next to it I hope we get some clearer fighter mode pics now,

    Max and Millia V2s

    Fantastic pose!
  14. Listing on Amiami says : Content: Main Figure, Gunpod, Assault Riffle, Stand, 4 Hand Parts Did Alto's valk have a secondary weapon? It looks really good so far but I'll wait for some clearer pictures before I take the plunge
  15. I really like that a Bandai valk finally has articulated hands but does it still require the "karate hands" to transform to fighter mode or are these just provided for the salute poses?
  16. It looks really nice, sharp and agile just like in the series. It's also cool that Bandai seems to include a stand with all their releases so I guess I'm just going to have to find some more room for these V2s
  17. The high price probably also means a smaller production run. Maybe Yamato waited to see the VF-19's sales before setting the number of sets produced... And iIf we're on the end of the nostagia wave it only means the next wave isn't very far behind... these things usually keep coming relentlessly, you know
  18. Wow, 9800 yens MSRP...? Really? That's the price of a V2 VF-1, and I don't see how it justifies here, the diecast content argument just doesn't seem valid to me.
  19. That's an amazing valkdesign, I love the way the turret adds possibilities to Gerwalk mode. Thank you for the sweet pics, Swoosh-san! And the price on Amiami seemed right too so I'm very tempted to make this the first entry of my Mac Frontier collection. Dobber, I'm sure it will get another release in a couple of months or so,that's what happened with the VF-27 or SOC GX-58 Yamato.
  20. I'm not worried for the VF-17. After releasing the VF-19 Firevalkyrie Yamato has made it clear that they have some of the best toy engineers out there. Preparing to be amazed again
  21. Hmmm... no idea Back on topic, I'm disappointed at the lack of Hi-metal news as well, that 21 prototype looked really promising...
  22. Mine arrived yesterday Has anyone started building their's yet?
  23. I would love to see a Yamato Phalanx, the missile array stuff being present all the time in the anime, to me it's one if not the most iconic destroid in the series. Of course I would get a few Spartans as well if they ever get made
  24. Damn it... there had to be a catch somewhere I guess Does the manual say at least how many screws of each size there should be in the bag?
