I need some dedicated brilliant fans of Macross II and the VF-2SS to help me make well a complete grade of the kit. In essence a anime accurate version resin kit of the VF-2SS I feel I don't have enough experience with mass producing or properly creating a resin kit. I know I need competent and clever people to help me with this but with enough people and brain I feel it is possible to create this kit. Just send me a message or respond to this topic and share your ideas.

I wasn't sure about the logo I didn't want to butcher it so I just tried some text what do you think of the star instead of just a plain black or colored background? I can insert "Do You Remember Love" in the title.

Here is my first attempt to see what needs to be done give a shout out for improvements and remember this is just to try some things by no means is it a finalized version.

I watched it in the English dub recently did anyone else think that a lot of the English voice actors ( ADV)yelled a lot?

It just looks cool honestly there is something in the shape that is appealing I know it is a subjective answer but hey this is the Macross II area I like it just not everything about the series. I find the valkyrie a competent design and appealing just not as much as Kawamori but it doesn't mean I can't appreciate aesthetically( I feel a little shallow saying that ).

Ok sounds interesting do you think he might be approached to do some work for a mystery movie in the future I'd like to see action stars past or present take a shot at the mystery genre more often.

Dude is doing movies again or what I haven't heard about him in a while and I live here. I realize he is done with the govenor thing but seriously is he going to do for money books direct movies. I'm wondering because I liked kindergarden cop. Action star that become comical at times can have better character take the rock as an example.

I was 14 when I discovered macross I was in the library on a website and looked at some stuff in Japanese used altavista to translate it and got macross liked it ever since and that was about wow. 1996 it has been a while man.

Yeah because if it is well done enough sure. I bet if we take a poll there would be just enough for maybe a limited release on a specialty resin kit.

dude can't wait to see the cockpit by the way are you going to make a circuit to make up the display. Or is there going to be a digital how is this going to work cause i love it. also is that clay in the picture or primer on the model.

Say what did everyone think of the Valkyries in this series I liked them but it always seemed like it takes a backseat to other Kawamori style VF's I thought they seemed ok.

nothing just telling people about a tv series I've seen thought it was funny besides there are other topics in this section which are off topic and are not related to scifi. Anyway it says on the title of the topic it is a tv series and it is just a comedy. Dude it is kinda funny and i thought people might like it.

Honestly I haven"t laughed this hard in a while Thomas Saxondale ( Steve Coogan) is extremely funny I especially like the group therapy sesions. I myself have gon to therapy just to take care of some problems I had when I was in my early twenties. Gotta say therapists are kind portrayed with a stereotype but can't say i've really met one that is not trying to make someone buy into a passive lifestyle. Saxondale is lude riduculous and downright genius at comedy. I like it because it is really good at making an aging rock groupie seem both human and a know it douchie( hope that wasn't too rude). In anycase if your in for a good laugh watch this and give a shout out if you've seen it. Here is what I've heard the original ideas was called mega road but one of the producers big west was in love with Macbeth( for what ever the reason only rumor) so they compromised called it macross. The three zentradi guys are suppose to be the big three contributor of macross ( Kawamori, Mikimoto, noburo Ishiguro) they gave them a funny name sorry can't recall anyway the original design for the fighter were "breast fighters " and it was suppose to be more tongue and cheek but with the three together there was kind of a creative mix for area sKawamori wasn't experienced enough like directing and character design. Honestly I think he can be a genius but he needs to use common sense when it comes to naming a fighter his second choice is much better I just assume he was young and it was a unrefined idea. honestly I really don't know about that I guess if it was good not tooo long or short it would be ok but I fear the inevitable mess that comes from over franchising. I really just want a new perspective on the series I just read the new Jonny Ridden Manga MSVR and kinda wish someone would approach Macross with a new set of eyes. Really instead of Kawamori's vision I'd like to see maybe a guy like Hideki Anno take it on or maybe Shinichiru Watanabe again. What I would really like is some good manga no offense to Frontier fands but the manga could look better it works but by no means is it a work of love. Manga and fandom like us here at Macross world care about hwat is put out and well if it isn't good I'll go along with that philosophy, but with the story and the ideas already present it shouldn't be an issue. This story is gold we just need to refine it and make it presentable in a new way.

Dude being being anime accurate is great but let's face it even movie have their "hero" versions for close up and a regular version for normal shots. Animation is like that sometimes the animator makes the difference in a design and brings ou thte best it has to offer sometimes not. I'm sure there are scenes where the VF-17 look great and then get a little sloppy. But when you make something like this there are design compromises or the material can't work like it' suppose to and be functional it is just a sacrife to make an awsome craft. I personnally think the VF-17S is the more underated design( but I love stealth craft so biased) even then they did their best honestly i don't think yamato has really been as anime accurate until now( waiting forpunishment for last remark*covering face*)
