I am also cancel individual pre-order before without affecting my other pre-orders at NY. Any idea if other online sites will be carrying the super parts/ghosts besides NY?

Yes, there is no telling if the price will go down or not. However, the chance of it happening is greater if more people cancel their preorder.

Hard to say since the vf-27 isn't out yet. No telling if it will follow the vf-171 cf route.

I think the huge demand is partially created by scrapper placing large pre-ordrers. I do agree that Bandai seems to be producing more. Just look at the seemingly unlimited vf-27 super NY has been able to offer.

It sure did. Things will work out for all of us even better if this is an indication of future Bandai Macorss Frontier DX Chogokin toy release/sale.

They took pre-orders for well before the closing announcement. I am hoping that they come through with the pre-orders that they have already taken too.

I was pretty close to breaking down and order one from NY. But after see all the reports of missing/broken parts and other problems. Now I am not so sure... How's NY's record with dealing with return and exchange for bad items?

There is no risk when no up-front payment is required. They can simply cancel their pre-order if they have not lined up a buyer by the time payment is required. That's why you see thats pre-order are being listed on eBay already.

If the perked-up demand is from scalpers, then the price will fall if the scalpers can't sell their pre-order and ended up cancelling their per-orders. They have nothing to lose since they don't have to pay up front. Just look at the vf-171 CF which is now "on sale" at NY.

The VF-171CF is the only one that was available after release. A single incident does not make a trend.
